The Whitehall Armory is a historic National Guard armory building located at Whitehall in Washington County, New York. We’ve spent countless hours restoring The Whitehall Armory. Now, it sits proudly as a unique home and special resource for the community. “The Whitehall Castle made our wedding day feel like a fairytale. From our first conversation, the team was engaging and genuinely excited to help us plan our event. Having a coordinator on staff was invaluable—he kept everything running smoothly and handled all the details so we could focus on celebrating with our loved ones. The venue itself is stunning with its antique charm and spacious ceremony and reception areas, all kept immaculate. We also rented their getting ready rooms for the evening, which gave us and our wedding party a comfortable space to prepare. We'd recommend The Whitehall Castle to any couple looking for a unique, well-maintained venue with a team that truly cares about making your day special.”

“When we first toured the Carriage House as a potential venue, it was a snowy January day (the opposite of the June wedding day we were touring for) but we could see the vision of space and fell in love with it. Keilana and Dawn were so easy to work with from the initial tour all the way through to picking up our stuff the day after the wedding. They were always available to answer any of our questions, no matter how small. They broke down the planning into parts, so it never felt overwhelming and they were always very clear about what information they needed and when. From the tasting day where we got to imagine how the space would be set up for our wedding, to the final walk through where we went through every detail of the wedding day, Keilana and Dawn were professional and enthusiastic, and we knew that our wedding was in good hands. Having the reception at the Carriage House meant many of our out of state guests were staying at the hotel which made the weekend even more fun, continuously running into people we knew throughout the weekend! Our guests raved about the beautiful cocktail hour outside, the lake views from the reception space, the delicious food, and that even with 200 people there was never a line at the bar when guests went to get a drink! The entire reception ran so smoothly, and we had an amazing time. We could not have picked a better location for our wedding reception, and we would highly recommend the Carriage House at Fort William Henry to other couples!! Thank you, Keilana and Dawn! “If we could give Brant Lake Camp a million stars, we would. Our wedding weekend here was nothing short of extraordinary, and it’s hard to put into words just how grateful we are for the experience. From the moment we first connected with Alexa, we knew we were in the best possible hands. She’s not just a coordinator—she’s a rare kind of person who blends warmth, precision, and pure joy into everything she touches. Every meeting, she showed up with clarity, answers, and a plan. Every promise she made, she fulfilled with grace. And during the weekend itself, she carried us so effortlessly through each moment that we were able to be fully present with our loved ones. Alexa’s smile and spirit are unforgettable, and she truly became the heartbeat of our wedding. But it wasn’t just Alexa—it was everyone. The staff at Brant Lake Camp became like family to us. Their kindness was endless, their energy boundless. They didn’t just work—they laughed with us, played with us, cheered with us. Who else says “yes” without hesitation when asked to referee water-gun capture the flag, lead a hike at sunrise, or host a massive kickball game? These aren’t just employees—they are people with generous hearts and playful spirits, and they infused our weekend with magic. The food was outstanding (we are still raving about the gyro lunch!), and the camp itself was a dream; expansive, stunningly maintained, and alive with possibilities. Guests found themselves running from archery to the beach to the ninja course, their inner kids reawakened. For those who needed help navigating the hills, staff were there in seconds with carts and smiles. No one ever felt like a burden, only like a treasured guest. And then—the wedding itself. We didn’t lift a finger. The team handled every detail, from setup to vendors to even keeping the surprise ice cream truck hidden until just the right moment. They threw an unforgettable after-party, complete with Pedro DJing his heart out - an unexpected surprise! Our weekend was full of picture-perfect moments: a welcome party under the lights by the water, a cozy campfire, cabins stocked with thoughtful touches like extra blankets, welcome bags delivered with care, etc. On our last night (we had an extended weekend), they somehow helped orchestrate a talent show, Family Feud, broadcast a college football game in one clubhouse, host movies for both kids and adults in others, and s’mores under the stars—because they knew how to give our guests every ounce of joy possible before it ended. And here’s the truth: our family and friends didn’t just “enjoy” the wedding. They were moved by it. They told us it was unlike anything they’d ever experienced, that it was unforgettable, that it felt like us. And that’s the gift Brant Lake Camp gave us—not just a wedding, but a weekend where our community could gather, play, laugh, and love with us in a way that one night never could. We left Brant Lake Camp with hearts so full they might burst. We left with memories that bring tears to our eyes even now. And we left with friends already interested in coming back for the family or adult weekends. If you’re considering Brant Lake Camp, don’t hesitate. It will change the way you think about what a wedding can be. It will give you more than a celebration—it will give you a once-in-a-lifetime gathering of love, joy, and connection. And it will stay with you forever.”

“Going into planning our wedding we knew that we wanted a primarily outdoor venue that allowed us to have a full weekend event from Friday through Sunday morning. After looking at several throughout the CT, MA, and VT area and not finding one we loved, we stumbled on West Mountain Inn and immediately knew it was perfect. The venue itself is beautiful from the quintessentially New England bed and breakfast, to the flower garden behind the ceremony site, to the incredible mountains in the background. The venue in late summer was simply stunning. While we were lucky enough to have perfect weather allowing for a fully outdoor experience (welcome party, ceremony & cocktail hour, and farewell breakfast were all outside!) West Mountain offered enough indoor locations that if there had been inclement weather, we wouldn’t be confined to only one space, which was a concern we had with other venues we toured. All the food we had during our weekend was incredible, from the buffet dinner and hors d’oeuvres, the breakfasts Saturday and Sunday morning, and the woodfired oven pizzas during our welcome party (guests absolutely loved the scallion street corn pie!!). On top of the inn, property, and food being amazing, West Mountain Inn is such an excellent wedding venue because of Amie, the inn owner and coordinator. Amie clearly loves helping people make their dream weddings come true. She serves as the day of coordinator and point of contact for your vendors, and makes it incredibly easy and straightforward to make all of the decisions you need to make the day come true. Amie was incredibly responsive, professional, patient, kind, and accommodating to our questions and asks. She and the Head Chef helped us plan a menu that catered to multiple types of allergies, as well as working with the bar to do our own off menu signature cocktails and a mocktail for the reception. Amie’s two incredibly well behaved golden retrievers, Milo and Pepper, also joined and were a hit with kids and adults alike! Something unadvertised but amazing about West Mountain was the collection of decorations and items from previous weddings (think chalkboards, table numbers, card boxes, table seating displays, etc.) that Amie has available for her couples to use in their own weddings which reduced our DIY requirements to basically nothing. The only thing we rented was drapes in the barn but other than that everything was already provided. One of the best parts of having our wedding at West Mountain Inn is that it’s now a special, meaningful place that we’re able to return to over the coming years. West Mountain Inn was absolutely the best decision we made in our wedding planning journey and we would recommend it to anyone and everyone!”

“Riverside Farm was so wonderful to work with and a spectacular place to host our wedding! We hosted around 130 people and had three days of events at Riverside Farm in 2026 and all went so smoothly and were stunningly beautiful. We had a welcome party in the evening the first day, a cocktail hour and reception the second day, and a farewell brunch the morning of the third day. It’s lovely to have the whole space for your wedding for the weekend - we were glad to only have people we knew at the venue, and to not feel rushed for arriving and dropping things off nor leaving at the end. Kaycee gave us a tour of the property in 2025 which was very helpful and gave us confidence. Then over the next year, we worked extensively with Krissy, our wedding coordinator, to bring the wedding weekend to life. She was excellent, friendly, helpful, and kept everything running smoothly and was our one point of contact for anything we needed related to Riverside Farm. She coordinated all with 1888 Builders, the company you are required to rent from for tables, chairs, kitchenware, etc. We found the prices to be reasonable and it was easy to just work through Krissy and Vermont Farms Catering, who did our catering, as they knew exactly what was needed for most things. The property is absolutely stunning. The barns are immaculately maintained and the grass and landscaping too. The accommodations vary in layout and we and our wedding party enjoyed them but they are not all your typical rooms of a queen or king bed. Additionally, they are scattered around the property but none are so far from the main activities that it’s a hassle. We enjoyed the beautiful Suite for the bridal couple, it’s a large, eclectic space and convenient from the red barn. We would highly recommend Riverside Farm and Krissy and the whole team for your wedding!”

“From an officiant's perspective, I was thoroughly pleased with the experience at The Grand Summit Hotel. I always pay attention to how their staff works together and from start to finish the team demonstrated professionalism, clear communication, and genuine care. They went above and beyond to ensure everyone's experience was good (from vendors to guests and everyone in between). All the thoughtful extra touches stood out. Small unseen gestures speak volumes about the team's attentiveness and commitment to making the day feel effortless. “When we first booked Glen Sanders, someone told my mother that Glen Sanders runs like a well-oiled wedding machine. They were spot on. Glen Sanders knows weddings. Every vendor was thrilled to hear we were working with them. They made the entire process so easy, so clear. Maki, our bridal attendant, was INCREDIBLE. She greeted us off the bus with our champagne flutes, made sure I was hydrated all during photos, helped me with my dress, and brought me down my sneakers at the reception, among many other things. Glen Sanders also sets up all of your cocktail hour Hors d'œuvres in a separate room for you to eat before going to your reception, and it was the moment my husband and I needed to catch our breath and feel "present" for the rest of the night. People often say their wedding was a blur, but we remember every detail thanks to that moment to pause. As for the venue itself, all of our guests still talk about how great of a setup it was. We got ready on-site (groomsmen downstairs, bridesmaids upstairs, MOG got her hair done in the salon downstairs), our cocktail hour outside and on the enclosed porch, the reception in the ballroom, our after party in the basement bar (Speak-easy vibes!), and then we stayed up with close friends and siblings around the fire until the early hours before going to sleep in our rooms on-site! Glen Sanders is certainly a one-stop shop for everything, and their product is unparalleled. Thank you, GSM team, for the best night of our lives! -Elaina and Bill”

“Weddings can be incredibly stressful and sometimes not go as you planned, but I can guarantee The Edison Downtown staff will make your special day the best wedding or event you’ve ever had. Jena, our wedding coordinator and Bylinda, the owner, truly went above and beyond any of my expectations for my wedding day. The attention to care to not only myself but all family members and party members was impeccable. The organization and leadership day of from Jena highly attributes to the perfection and smoothness of our wedding. She was there late the night before and there bright and early the day of to make sure everything we wanted was done correctly and done timely. She made sure to keep to our schedule and even if there were any bumps in our timeline, she handed it for us. She paid incredible attention to detail to both our wedding and after party, as we had a completely different themed event also at the venue slightly after our wedding ended. I’m sure this made it more difficult than usual for the staff, but Jena handled the organization of all of our decor and organization of the staff and people involved like a seasoned professional. The food from Season’s Catering was divine and some of the best food we can recall having at a wedding or other event in a very, very long time. Our guests cannot stop talking about how absolutely delicious all of the food was, how gorgeous and unique the venue was, and how it was one of the best weddings they have attended. From the bartender to the servers, everyone was so sweet and seemed so excited to be working our wedding day. I didn’t know exactly what to expect planning my first wedding, but was so thankful for having Bylinda and having Jena from the venue to handle everything. Any event at The Edison Downtown is worth every penny. We cannot thank everyone enough for all of the effort they put into our special day.”

“From beginning to end, our experience at Farm Road Estate was absolute perfection. Even the planning process was enjoyable thanks to Kelly and her incredible team, who went above and beyond every step of the way. From setting up Guitar Hero in the speakeasy for our welcome party, to making sure our grandmas walked down the aisle smoothly, to making sure we were always fed during every little gap of the day—the attention to detail and genuine care were unmatched. The venue itself is breathtaking, and every guest couldn’t stop raving about how comfortable the rooms and bedding were. And the food… wow. I had friends telling me they literally licked their plates (politely, of course). Everything was phenomenal. It truly felt like we had all our loved ones together for the most beautiful sleepaway weekend, eating, drinking, laughing, and celebrating. We wish we could go back and relive it all over again. Hearing people talk about our wedding gives us the chance to do just that, and it fills our hearts every single time. To Kelly, Mike (the Guitar Hero master), Lauren, Giselle, Chef Joe, Theresa, Steven, Meg, and every single staff member who worked tirelessly to make our weekend so special. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will cherish these memories forever. If you’re on the fence about having your wedding here, do it. You will not regret it.”
