“I used Summit Events Co. for my December '24 wedding and could not recommend them more! DJ Ben was SO fun and really kept the party alive. He was such a pleasure to meet with ahead of time and asked us tons of questions to really understand our vision for the evening. He was truly a delight and even wore black, per my very annoying request :) He also had me get on the DJ board (just pretending) and it was a huge hit! Very fun, very adaptable! Summit Events Co. uses an app for all of your music and timeline needs and it was SUPER easy to use. It connects to Spotify, Youtube, and a few other platforms so I could just upload my playlists I had already worked on and it made everything really fast. We also got a photobooth which was AMAZING. It's hard to know when planning a wedding what is worth the extra cost but this hands down was worth it. Our attendant was such an angel and multiple people came up to me after to tell me how cool she was! Their pricing is super reasonable - very in line with other vendors I found and Ben was able to accommodate our specific budget while still making our vision come to life. Overall I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Summit Events Co!”

His organization and professionalism were top notch - and filling out the "must play" and "must not play" lists was really fun to do - we got to think about all of our favorite songs that we were excited to hear, and make sure he knew which songs were off limits for us. Because of that, our wedding felt super personalized, and we loved every song that played! We were also particularly thrilled with his execution of cocktail hour - we requested instrumental versions of modern/classic rock songs, and he found SO MANY great versions of so many great songs. When we talk to family and friends about our wedding, they without fail mention how much they loved the instrumental version of "Wake Me Up Inside" by Evanescence. “Oh where to begin?! I met Brandon and Kellie during the April 2024 Richmond Bridal Expo. I was just going around signing up for all the give aways and drawings while collecting information. The day after the show, I received an email from DJ Signature saying I won their 2nd place prize and to schedule a meeting. My Fiancé and I set up a meeting via zoom and let the fun begin! We both instantly felt a connection with Brandon and he 100% understood the vibe we were going for. He took the time to go through all the packages and customized our perfect plan. I didn’t need some of the things the package offered so I opted to add in Signature Details (welcome to the party Kellie!) and have access to a wedding coordinator. Kellie joined our zoom call and it was like 4 friends just catching up and having a good time. Once we were done with the zoom, they emailed over everything we discussed along with a contract. We were signed, sealed, delivered within an hour of ending our call. Brandon is very proactive in asking for lists of music you do and don’t want during your ceremony. He also helped me when I was struggling to add certain genres I knew I didn’t want during the reception, and we created a dinner playlist with those songs so everyone was included. The day of the wedding Brandon and his assistants showed up ready to get to work. When I say everything was PERFECT I mean it! The music flowed beautifully and there was no awkward pauses in transitions. It was a special moment for my husband and I too, after pictures we got the chance to talk with Brandon. You could feel the love and support with everything he said and it was an honor to have him with us. Part of the package we did was a cold spark exit. I wasn’t sold on it when we originally talked about it but as we went on I was like ok it’ll be cool. My advice, DO THE COLD SPARKS!!!!!! I’m so glad they convinced me because it was honestly my favorite part of the night. Brandon had to leave after this part of our evening as he had another wedding to do fireworks at and his assistant took over. And that’s when the party started! I wanted it to feel like an early 2000’s-2010’s club vibe full of dancing and fun. They NAILED the mark on it too! Everyone had an absolute blast and I legit felt it for the next few days. If you’re looking for the best DJ in VA, you’re in the best hands with DJ Signature! Thank you for being a part of our day Brandon!!”

Our ceremony sounds was absolutely perfect and the microphones were sooo easy to use and captured all the sound perfectly. Jon was great at making announcements, (even though it wasn't planned) like when he had to tell people to go to cocktail hour. We also had a photobooth package with him and the attendant did such a great job running the booth. It was definitely the most popular event and our families still raves about the pictures they took! From the moment we met Jon, he was just so easy to talk to and knew exactly what we wanted for the day when we shared our vision. Jon is so professional, supportive, and positive, and I can't imagine having someone else on our special day. He is definitely worth the money and I would hire him again without a doubt for any event!”

“We absolutely loved working with Carol and Joey. They are an amazing husband and wife wedding team. We hired them just a month before our wedding when we realized we needed an MC, and we ended up adding Carol for day-of coordinating too. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Carol met with Haley (the bride) multiple times a week leading up to the wedding to make sure every detail was covered. She has such a positive, calming spirit, and she brought a sense of relief even before the big day. That alone was priceless. She also took the time to really get to know our families and friends, which helped everything run so naturally and smoothly. On the wedding day, we had two pretty major and time-sensitive vendor shortfalls, and Carol handled both effortlessly. She kept everything under control without involving the bride and groom and was incredible at delegating tasks to the right people to make sure everything got done. She showed up fully prepared, emergency kit and all, and saved the day more than once. Joey did an amazing job keeping the party going. He brought awesome lighting for the dance floor, and he even set up lights in dimly lit areas so guests wouldn’t trip or fall. They both clearly care about everyone having a great time, but they put safety first, which we appreciated so much. Joey also took all of our music preferences and seamlessly wove them into the night so everything flowed perfectly. They brought their son as well, who was such an incredible support and a huge help throughout the day. A few weeks post-wedding day, they even hopped on a debrief call with us to walk through how everything went and help us give accurate feedback to our other vendors. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine care went far beyond anything we expected. Our wedding day was so special because of them. We couldn’t recommend Carol and Joey more.”
