“I got married at Lake Pearl in July 2024, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, the entire staff was an absolute dream to work with. They truly held my hand through the whole process, making everything feel so seamless and stress-free. One of the best parts was that the venue included beautiful floral centerpieces and a delicious cake, which took so much coordination off my plate. Their preferred vendors and the staff are like a well-oiled machine, working together flawlessly. Lake Pearl is also the perfect backdrop for photos, with a beach, dock, gardens, and tree-lined forest areas that provide diverse landscapes for stunning photo opportunities. I got married in the new Belvedere building, which is a showstopper filled with great lighting and tons of windows! Getting ready on-site was a wonderful experience, with breakfast and lunch catered to the bridal suite, making for a perfect, relaxed start to the day. From the cocktail hour to the reception, everything went smoothly, and it truly was the best day of my life. A huge thank you to Jules and Janet for making everything perfect! The first floor was a Halloween party which made sense as it was Halloween, the second floor was entirely decorated in Christmas decor, my party loved the unusual clash of the whole thing”

“My husband and I got married at Barker House this past weekend and had an excellent experience! We were initially interested in Wedgewood’s all inclusive style and then fell in love with the charm of the Barker House venue. The staff were very helpful and eager to step in where they were able. There were many house decorations the coordinator helped set out for us. She even handled some of our signage for us! We chose the elite package, which included most vendors. Seaside Florals and Guilty Bakery were both great to work with. Selecting options included with our package and purchasing add ons was seamless. Both vendors are very familiar with the venue, which made day of set up/drop off effortless for us as the couple. Overall, I would highly recommend Barker House for a couple looking for an all inclusive venue. We feel that we got a fantastic value, especially given how easy the planning process was for us. Our wedding was a blast and we got numerous compliments from our guests. The food and drinks were delicious! Our coordinator, Nicole, was so helpful! Party was great! 10/10 wedding and planning experience!”
