“HiMotive Entertainment & Photobooth did a great job keeping our wedding reception fun and upbeat. While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. We'd recommend HiMotive to other couples looking for an energetic DJ.”

“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Tyson. He communicated with us so clearly, was so careful and caring with our day. We are extremely passionate about music and he took that to heart and curated the party vibe accordingly. Genuinely everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. He took a strange request from me for the father daughter dance and executed it exceptionally, he learned the song I wanted to walk the aisle to on guitar beautifully, and the photobooth was a HUGE hit. I had multiple people ask me if Tyson knew us personally because the music was perfectly synced to who we are. We spoke on the phone for over an our telling him what we like and don’t like and he really worked with it. We booked pretty much every service he offers and he knocked it all out of the park seamlessly. We feel so lucky to have found him and can promise you that you will not regret booking him for your event !!!!!!”

“DJ Lennox was my sisters DJ for her wedding- I was the maid of honor and also the florist, so I got to get to know DJ Lennox as a guest and also a vendor. There’s honestly not enough words to describe so freakin cool he is. His attention to detail is on point, he can hype up even the most boring crowd, and he has the greatest personality. My sister also rented the Photo Booth and I’m SO glad she did. Everyone had a blast with it & DJ Lennox’s assistant was just as cool as he is. She was so much fun, so sweet, and so funny. We had a blast. Someday when I plan a wedding- he’ll be my first phone call.”

He knew we wanted to do our first dance and toasts outside during cocktail hour, right before sunset, so he made sure to check in with us to get the timing just right, and it was magical! During dinner, we had curated a playlist of first dance songs from our guests, and he helped create so many special moments by encouraging folks to get up and dance when they heard their song, and stayed flexible when we were ready to get dancing started. The reception was an absolute blast and my dream dance floor. The end of the night was perfection with several "last songs" and getting to soak it all in in a circle of our favorite people.
