The singer Karlea was phenomenal and did an amazing job of keeping our guests engaged and entertained. The musicians were all courteous, professional, and exceptionally talented. They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. I highly recommend this group for your wedding.”

Music and dancing was such an important piece of our wedding and celebration so we wanted it to be electric, and Said absolutely delivered!! “Our wedding day experience would not have been the same without Derek! He went above and beyond in making our day special and tailored to us. We gave him songs for the ceremony and he made them his own and added his own flare making them unique for our day. He also played live for our cocktail hour where I received several compliments from our guests. However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

Prior to our wedding day, we were convinced our friends and families would be avoiding the dance floor, opting for card games or the bar but, to my utter shock, there wasn’t a single song we didn't have a group dancing the entire evening. Josh went above and beyond in making sure we didn't need to worry if our guests were going to have a great time - they absolutely did thanks to the incredible work of Peace of Mind Entertainment. The Photo Booth was also so fun, and he even gave us a booklet with a copy of all of the photos our guests too. “Jacob knocked it out of the park at our wedding. Throughout the whole process he was super communicative, always listened to our suggestions, and kept people on the dance floor all night. He is not only a technically skilled DJ able to mix, drop, and cue up songs perfectly, but he has a great song selection which we really enjoyed. He was able to work with our tight schedule which involved a room flip and complex logistics. He brought the perfect size setup for our room (and gave us a bit of a discount because of it). The lighting was super fun and dynamic throughout the night. Other guests in the hotel commented multiple times on the "rager" we were throwing (in a good way). Even the hotel staff were impressed at how good Jacob was at keeping people dancing. I am picky when it comes to music, we gave him a long list of suggestions and "do not play" songs. He worked through the list extremely well, playing the songs that we wanted while skipping over the ones that would have killed the dance floor. I could not recommend Jacob enough for anyone looking to get (and keep) their family and friends dancing all night.”
