I’m Edgar, an HTX-raised native with Salvadorian roots. I am the owner, creative director, and lead photographer at Anchor Studios Photography. I'm a wedding and elopement photographer based out of Pittsburgh, PA! However, the stories I capture don't start and end there. I love to travel to capture stories all around the world.

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I hired Edgar (Anchor Studios) as our photographer for our wedding on July 7, 2024. He did an amazing job!! Since we started working with him for our engagement pictures up to the wedding and after, he has been great at communication and very professional. He went above and beyond by helping us create a timeline for our wedding because didn’t know how weddings usually go. He worked so hard on the day of our wedding to get the best shots, and was very kind and helped us a lot with organizing order of events. He had great ideas for poses and was very mindful to get all the pictures we wanted with family members and bridal party. And even better than all of this, when we got the pictures, they came out amazing!! It’s very clear that he put a lot of hard work into making them look incredible. He is a very talented and skilled photographer. We were blown away by how they turned out! We are very thankful for how hard he worked and how great he made the picture look! We highly recommend him!

After finishing my degree in Fine Arts, I mentored under After Midnight Photography and have since honed my work into something I'm truly proud of. The experiences I've had and people I've gotten to meet along the way have formed my skill and kept my soul aflame. While I call Washington home, I feel most alive on the road to new destinations. I believe that you’re your most authentic self while traveling and learning. I love collaborating with all people and like to think I have an eye for taking photos that express you for who you are as a whole. No two people are the same, your portraits should reflect that!

Siri was super easy to work with - we were coming from out of town and I had a few email conversations with her, a phone call and we met up in person once before the wedding, she always made us feel at ease, had all the right questions and made sure we were getting what we wanted. We couldn't be happier with how the sneak peak of our photos turned out and we are super excited to see the rest of them. Get the second phot shooter of your budget allows for it. They are a great team!

Hi there, I’m Shanoah! I’m a Wedding Photographer based in Spokane WA! My goal is to capture how every moment felt in the most authentic and beautiful way possible. When I’m not doing my dream job (photography, obvi!) you can find me doing home improvement projects, eating my weight in sushi, snuggling my cat Teddy, and binging whatever reality TV show I’ve found on Netflix. I love chatting about all of the wedding tips and tricks I’ve learned over the years, and adore hearing wedding planning details, so if want to grab a cup of coffee (my treat!) to chat about your amazing day and how I could be a good fit, please reach out!

Awarded Best of Zola
Shanoah photographed our intimate wedding at the Steam Plant in Spokane, WA, and she exceeded all expectations! I was in my final year of nursing school in Minnesota when we got engaged, so planning a wedding out of state came with challenges. Shanoah was incredibly helpful throughout the process. We had our initial consultation over Zoom, and right away, I felt confident in her approach. I wanted a photographer who captured clear, well-lit photos that felt authentic and made us feel comfortable. Shanoah was exactly that. We immediately clicked, and we decided to book her Silver Wedding Photography Experience, which included 8 hours of coverage, a second shooter for 2 hours, a 30-minute engagement session, and a No. 2 Album. Since we were in Minnesota for most of our engagement, we had engagement photos taken by a different photographer. Shanoah was so accommodating, allowing us to skip the engagement session and upgrade our album to No. 3 instead. Shanoah was always prompt and eager to collaborate. She provided her Complete Bridal Guide, a resource full of advice on everything from engagement photo outfits to wedding day timelines. It helped me tremendously, especially when planning family portraits and making sure I didn’t miss any key moments. In the weeks before the wedding, Shanoah sent two detailed questionnaires. One asked for a list of specific family groupings for photos, and while it was a lot to organize, on the wedding day, I didn’t have to worry about missing anyone. Shanoah made sure to capture every request. The second questionnaire asked important questions about our wedding details, helping her tailor her approach to fit our needs and blend seamlessly with our guests. On the wedding day, Shanoah arrived with a smile—and coffee for both the bride and groom! She communicated her plan clearly, explained what she would be doing, and helped with everything from fixing dresses to teaching my maid of honor how to arrange my veil. She gave us gentle prompts, helping us feel relaxed while capturing meaningful moments. Even when family members stepped in to direct photo lineups or adjust dresses, Shanoah remained gracious and professional. She kindly offered suggestions when necessary to keep things on track, always respectful and joyful. If we wanted a spontaneous photo, she was quick to jump in, ready to capture the moment with enthusiasm. The sneak peeks Shanoah sent us were stunning—far beyond what we had imagined! When we received the full gallery, we were blown away by the beautiful, timeless photos. We spent hours pouring over hundreds of pictures, many of which were candid shots of our guests. It was so special to see these moments, as we didn’t have much time with everyone on the day. Shanoah captured so many precious memories, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Thank you, Shanoah Bri Photography, for your hard work and dedication to our wedding day. We will cherish these photos forever!

Hello there! I'm Andrea, owner of Amative Creative, and every weekend we're so blessed to be able to tell the love stories of so many amazing couples. Like many others in this industry might say, we simply adore weddings. But what makes us a little different is our entire brand is centered around telling love stories specifically curated to reflect your vision and aesthetic. "Amative" means to be prone to love, so as you can see, we want nothing more than to tell your love story! But what makes us truly unique is that we understand every love story looks different. And we personalize every aspect of how we document your wedding day!

Awarded Best of Zola
We had a great experience with Amative Creative for our wedding! One thing that really made them stand out was that they offer so many different editing styles to choose from, so we were able to pick exactly the look we wanted. They also got our photos back to us super quickly—about a week after the wedding—which was such a nice surprise. The photos turned out beautiful and they captured all the big moments and some great candid shots. I especially love how cool the dance floor shots turned out. We received tons of compliments on the pictures! Highly recommend!

Based in the PNW, I'm a seasoned photographer with 17+ years crafting love stories through weddings and portraits. Originally from the Bay Area, I've transplanted my roots here but am still drawn back to California often. Photography is my enduring passion, evolving from a creative background in design. Clients cherish the candid moments I freeze in time and value my patience. What sets me apart is not just technical expertise but a personalized boutique experience, from choosing me as your photographer to saying "I do." Immerse yourself in the art of storytelling through my lens, turning your wedding day dreams into timeless memories.

I booked Joie because of her beautiful images but when we started to see images of her creations with flatlays on her Instagram, we couldn't wait for our wedding day! She asked me to gather the details I would need for the day prior to the wedding day and my bridesmaids and I were so impressed by her when she showed up with her little kit and just got to working. I love love love love (too many loves to count) my wedding photos and I can't help but think that I was so lucky when I snatched her as my photographer! Joie was such a pleasure to work with from our engagements to the helping us with timeline building and giving us ideas for what to plan for and of course our wedding day! I can't express in words how grateful I am to have had her hold my hand through the process.

Caiti Rose Photography

Howdy. My name is Caiti and I am a wedding photographer based out of Moses Lake, WA. I am a misplaced Texan, so I photograph weddings in WA to OR, ID, and TX. I have been photographing since I was 15 with a love for art and documenting moments instead of posing them. I studied photography all the way through college and grew up wanting to be a National Geographic photograher. I still dream, but I have picked up my camera in every season of life. I have photographed war in the Army, sports in college, to now couples that want to feel something when they look at their photos.

I’m forever thankful that my fiancé contacted Caiti Rose Photography to capture the proposal. Of course, the happiness of the proposal is indescribable, yet Caiti somehow captured how the moment felt exactly. We were able to soak in the moment, never felt rushed or like there was any need to pose or be anything other than ourselves. Each time we look at our photos, we're transported right back to those feelings, and that's something special. And from the minute I met her, she made us feel like we were part of her family. She must be a wizard, they way she edited and delivered photos to us to quickly. Her communication throughout the photoshoot and afterward was straightforward and dependable, which gave us total peace of mind. Caiti's work goes beyond pretty pictures – it's a window into the heart of our celebration. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer to document our love story.

Hi! I'm Christin, a destination wedding photographer based in Chattanooga, TN. Specializing in timeless and artful imagery, my expertise goes beyond just taking photos; it's about crafting a visual story that reflects the joy, love, and unique spirit of your celebration.

Working with Christin at Christin Sofka Photography was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding journey. From our very first inquiry to the days following our wedding, Christin has been nothing short of phenomenal—responsive, professional, fun, and such a warm presence throughout. We initially found her because of her stunning photography style, but it was her incredible personality that sealed the deal. From our first call, she genuinely wanted to get to know us—our story, our vibe, our vision—and it showed in everything she did. Before we even officially hired her, Christin was helping us find a venue that aligned with our dream, connecting us with other amazing vendors, and offering support in ways far beyond the role of a photographer. She was in it with us every step of the way. I’m usually awkward in front of a camera, but somehow Christin made it feel effortless and fun. She created an environment where we could just be ourselves—and that joy, love, and personality came through in every photo. Our pictures shine with who we are. Every idea we had, she embraced and brought to life in ways that exceeded our expectations. She was just as excited as we were the entire time—and honestly, I can’t imagine our day without her. Christin is not just a photographer—she’s a true artist, a cheerleader, and a calming, creative force you’ll be so lucky to have by your side. If you’re considering hiring her: do it. You’ll be singing her praises too.

Hi! Courtney here (that's me on the left!). Shutter and Sound is the brainchild of renowned wedding videographer Ryan Geldermann. Ryan began his wedding videography career in 2010 in Los Angeles and quickly became recognized as one of the top videographers in the U.S.. After relocating to DC and still receiving countless inquiries from all corners of the country, Ryan decided to recruit and train a few talented friends so he could continue offering the quality wedding videography he’s known for in SoCal and eventually over 10 cities. Shutter and Sound is a very small group of filmmakers dedicated to turning your big day into a work of art.

I recently hired Shutter and Sound for our December wedding for content creation. It was the best decision. We received all of the raw footage plus 5 reels only 24hrs after our wedding day. Kenna was amazing. I highly recommend hiring them for content creation. It’s been so nice to watch our day back.

Many things have changed since I discovered photography at the age of 12, I've traveled the world, received my degree in marketing, got married to my favorite human, and even moved from my home country of Ukraine to the US (well, that's a story for some other time :)! One thing always accompanied me though - my passion for photography! This passion allowed me to meet some absolutely incredible people and capture the most meaningful moments for them! I cannot be more grateful for my childhood dream to become a reality!

Awarded Best of Zola
I cannot say enough positive things about Tetiana aka Tanya. Over the past 2-3 years, I have had the opportunity to work with her on dozens of weddings and editorials, and more recently, professional portraits for my own business. Tanya is creative, professional, compassionate, and skilled. She has a way of being with people that puts them at ease, and uplifts them without even trying. During our portrait session, it felt like we were just hanging out (I consider myself to be somewhat awkward, especially in front of the camera, so that says a lot). She had countless suggestions for shots I never even know I needed. Now that I have my full gallery back, I can officially say that I am thrilled with the results. The photos were originally intended for my social media channels and website, but I realize they're so much more than that, and will be keepsakes I will cherish and look back on years from now to remember this part of my 30's. If you're on the fence about hiring Tanya, let this review be your deciding factor!

Our wedding business started out with me shooting a wedding video for a very dear friend of mine in 2017. I posted the video to a Facebook business page and BOOM! It received 200,000 views and we started receiving hundreds of inquiries from couples around the PNW. Every year I would book 30-40 weddings doing photos and videos for couples. When COVID struck, we had a year crashing into the next year. We had to adapt. So I grew our company to 8 teams of pro photographers/videographers to cover weddings around the US. There is nothing better than capturing love on the biggest day ever. Every day we are thankful to be able to do this.

Josh and his crew took our vision and ran with it! These guys genuinely love what they do and it shows through their work. They’re the perfect blend of professional and fun and they will have you smiling ear to ear with your special someone during your engagement shoot and/or wedding day. If you’re looking for the best look no further, we’ll be telling everyone about how great they are!

The Important Points about Sage & Iron You Should Not Skip: -Budget friendly -Super flexible -Empathetic and understanding -Professional family wrangler -Prompt communication & transparency -Open to ideas if you've got 'em, but if not that's totally fine too -Easily the most "human" professional photographer I've ever had the pleasure of working with Sage & Iron (we only worked with Ashley) is someone I felt super comfortable with right away--which says a lot because I'm usually so untrusting of most people I hire for things. My husband and I were hunting for a wedding photographer that could provide spooky/moody photos of us, but also some traditional classics too. All with the very tight constraints of funding our small wedding ourselves, we thought we'd never find what we were looking for. *Enter: Sage & Iron* We booked with S&I right away, and while I originally had plans with a friend to take our engagement photos, that fell through, and S&I(Ashley) was SO understanding when I asked about booking an engagement session even though it wasn't originally in our plans. We scheduled for dates in the fall, but it's Ohio, so there was of course rain.. then wind.. so our spooky moody engagement shoot ultimately was pushed to early spring in a cemetery. You would NEVER know that we didn't take these photos in the late-fall! Mission: Accomplished I am chronically forgetful, but Ashley always came through with reminders about payment dates, and was always incredibly flexible with me when I said I'd text her soon and "soon" became days. A Saint of Patience! Not to mention, all of our wedding planning (Read: Me stressing out) was happening while Ashley was experiencing some heavy life-things of her own, but she never once made me feel like anything less than a priority. Truly dedicated to her clients and making sure they feel heard and cared for. Wedding: It was beautiful weather all week, but naturally, bonkers wind and rain the entire day of our wedding. Unfortunately, and at no fault of S&I, our venue that already was lacking in the "indoor photo locations department" decided to book a 1000 guest event at the last minute the same day of our wedding... So are many of our photos in a stairwell not designed for photos? Yes. Did Ashley do her damndest to get interesting photos of the bridal party despite the lack of indoor locations or ideal lighting conditions? I believe so! She was also a champion of wrangling us, keeping the family under control during photo time, delegating whose turn it was to get photos with the bride and groom next, it was like watching a foreman in a work zone. And I NEEDED someone to do that for me because I was, well, a bride. In summary: S&I (Ashley) is a joy and a pleasure to work with, even when I forget to download my own wedding photos before they came down from the website... She still has them stored safely for me to be able to download them. An angel. If you're looking for a photographer who is real with you, keeps you updated, has transparent pricing and won't ever try to bait-and-switch you, cares about you as a human first and foremost, knows how to flex some genuinely cool moody artistic shots but still nails the classics, you've found your vendor!

Hello & welcome! I’m a film-forward wedding photographer and videographer in Tennessee, capturing real moments and timeless imagery. Grace was an absolute joy to work with - she was efficient and detailed in her communication, always responding quickly to emails and keeping us updated every step of the way. Most importantly, Grace genuinely cared about capturing our love story and making sure we were happy with the photos. Her photography style is airy and beautifully epic. The photos turned out even better than we could have imagined, perfectly encapsulating all of the special moments and emotions from our big day. Grace was so helpful on the wedding day itself, guiding us through the schedule and making sure we stayed on track. She was constantly smiling and kept the mood light. We couldn't have asked for a better, kinder photographer to document our wedding journey. Grace's professionalism, talent and caring spirit made her an invaluable vendor and we'd recommend her enthusiastically to any couple looking for a photographer. We are so blessed to have found her.

We spent a LONG time researching a photographer/videographer. We agreed that this is what was the most important for us as it was the thing we get to keep forever. The style right now is dark, moody, and blurry, which isn't our style. We found Sam's photography to be vibrant, crisp, and fun. We noticed she captures people as they are. She isn't going to edit out cellulite or fix your hair if it is out of place, but we knew that ahead of time. We met and she took our engagement pictures, which turned out stunning. She finished everything in a timely manner. On our wedding day, she took pictures as well as another photographer Marissa, and Sam's husband Cory was the videographer. They made an awesome team. Marissa directed more than Sam with moving pieces of hair or turning necklaces. We were glad she came. Sam and Cory would have been great, but adding Marissa made it the 10/10. Our videos and pictures, as well as a book and metal print were all done and in our possession in a timely manner with LOTS of great communication. I am obsessed with them.

Val was beyond incredible as our wedding photographer! She flew all the way to Florida to capture our special day, and she made us feel so at ease from the get-go. Her energy was infectious, and she had us laughing and enjoying ourselves the whole time. Val was super prepared, knowing exactly where we needed to be and who we needed to be with during the shoot, making it all so seamless and stress-free. She even brought us a locket to add to the bridge where we were capturing photos. Something I so badly wanted but in the midst of everything..I forgot! She pays attention to those details. It was like having a friend there who just happened to be a photo wizard. The photos turned out absolutely stunning, capturing every beautiful moment perfectly. I have been married over a year now and I still look at these photos all the time. If you want a photographer who makes your day fun and captures it beautifully, Val is your girl! PS. She also did my engagement photos and from there on I wanted her to capture every big moment in our lives!

Knots in the Pines

Hello! I'm an adventure elopement and intimate wedding photographer. We offer photo services for all sorts of small weddings, but specialize in hike-out elopements. I work with my husband, Joe, to make your dream intimate wedding or elopement a reality. I find the perfect locations for my couples and plan a fun adventure with lots of gorgeous photos, while Joe prepares a lovely ceremony (he's a Humanist minister) complete with guitar music (Joe's services are optional). We also offer all-inclusive elopements, complete with flowers, food, booze, cake, and more, so the only planning you have to do is get a wicked cool outfit and show up :)

Selecting Knots in the Pines as our photographer was hands down the BEST decision we made for our big day. I knew immediately meeting Victoria that she was the right match for us because she has such a genuine warmth and kindness about her that makes you feel seen and supported throughout the entire planning process and the day itself. She made sure she really understood who my husband and I are individually and as a couple so she and Joe could bring our vision to life. Having Victoria in our corner made me feel so much more confident planning a Hawaiian elopement from way out of state as someone with no exposure to Hawaii beforehand. She made sure my husband and I were informed on everything we needed to know to make sure the ceremony went off seamlessly and was our #1 supporter who thought of every last detail and helped guide us in the right direction! The process of taking photos with her was completely stress-free because she and Joe felt like old friends by the time of the ceremony. Joe officiated a very tasteful ceremony for us and sang and played music for our first dance. We appreciated the special touches involved in his style and were happy to have a ceremony that both had structure but felt intimate and relaxed. The photos themselves turned out STUNNING and far surpassed any expectations I had. We were overwhelmed by the number of fantastic, frame-worthy shots Victoria captured. To give you an idea, I created a “favorites” album and it literally included 400 photos, which is an insanely good value for their extremely reasonable prices. Our wedding included a variety of locations and Victoria nailed the photography and editing involved with each one. We are classic “awkward photo” people who have no idea how to pose, but with her guidance and vision, we kept hearing that our photos look like something straight out of a magazine and that AI couldn’t create a more beautiful image that Victoria did (in a natural setting with two normal people and a LOT of talent!) Our photos speak for themselves, but I can promise you that booking with them will be a decision you’ll be eternally grateful you made! *Note that some of these photos are screenshots because the resolution of the images was too high for Zola. They’re all crystal clear and high resolution.
