As a person, Delaney is so sweet, easy going, positive, and filled with so much joy and energy. As a photographer, her attention to detail and ability to capture the vision of her subjects is unmatched. The combination is brilliant and I felt sad at the end of our time together because she made two major life events of ours so special, and now we have beautiful pictures to look back on forever.
As someone who was anxious about planning a wedding, Delaney instantly put me at ease during our first phone call. She encouraged us to do the engagement shoot so we would feel more natural taking pictures on our wedding day and I’m so glad we did. Not only are they stunning, but it was such a fun memory! Also, my now husband was very anxious and not all that excited to have a bunch of pictures taken. As soon as we got in the car after we were done, he said “That was great, not what I expected at all. Delaney made it so easy!” As outdoors people, we loved going to the Highland Mansion. It was intimate and gave plenty of options for photos. Cannot wait to get them framed and have them at our house!
Where do I even begin with the wedding day photos?! I mentioned my husband was anxious, but as a woman I wanted to look and feel my best on my wedding day. Delaney is the best hype girl! And when I looked at the pictures after the wedding I was in tears. She captured everything we wanted and more. So glad we will have these forever. Through all of our email and phone communication prior to the wedding, Delaney made sure she understood all the people I wanted pictures of and the vibe we were going for. On the day of the wedding she kept things moving and fun (appreciated by the wedding party and my husband so much lol). Above all else, there was a photograph of my grandparents that I wanted to recreate and Delaney nailed it and this will be something I will treasure for years to come.
It’s true what they say - a picture is worth a thousand words. From myself and my husband, to the wedding party, to details, to our guests, Delaney captured all the important things while not interrupting the organic flow of the evening. She is magic- we are forever grateful for her!!! I also have to note that Delaney's turn around time was insane! I had our engagement photos within hours and the wedding pictures so quickly.
