“Chef Kelsie and the Gingersnap Bakery team are the best! Kelsie was quick to respond to our initial inquiry and set up a virtual meeting to discuss timeline, design, and cost. We showed her some Pinterest inspo pics and she drew a sketch on the spot. Then we picked out some cake and frosting flavors to sample, and she mailed them to our house (cake tasting and a movie was so fun!). She was always easy to reach and quick to respond. On the wedding day, she personally delivered the cake to our venue, and everything went without a hitch – in fact, we completely forgot about the cake until we walked into our ballroom to preview it during cocktail hour. The cake itself was absolutely beautiful and hit the brief perfectly; it was exactly what we wanted. It was an 8-inch single-tier token cake for the photo op, and the photos turned out great. Moreover, it was DELICIOUS! Perfect texture, just the right amount of sweet. We got their mocha flavor with chocolate ganache as our filling/frosting but asked for vanilla buttercream on the outside to match our white theme. We are so excited to eat the slices we are saving for our one-year anniversary!”
