Fancy Pants Cakes is a licensed and insured home-based bakery in Bennington, VT, delivering cakes to the southern VT/capital district NY/Berkshires MA region. I believe in creating delicious cakes from scratch, designed to be a reflection of the couple's personality and style. From small elopements to large gatherings, I work one-on-one with my clients to make the process seamless and fun.

It is easy to find a cake photo online that catches your eye, but it takes a conversation about that cake, reception decor, wedding details, and even a couple's personalities to take that idea to the next level. My favorite part of being a cake artist is figuring out what a couple *really* wants and making that happen. Love your dogs? Let's figure out how to incorporate them into the cake. More traditional? Let's talk about what elements feel right to you. Are you on the silly side? Perhaps a two-sided cake is the answer. Whatever it is, we will come up with the perfect design for your special day.

    The cake and cupcakes were delicious. All of our guests loved them. The vendor was easy to work with and very responsive. She did exactly as she said she would. No negative feedback to share. Everything was wonderful with Fancy Pants Cakes.

    Jenica was amazing to work with throughout our wedding cake selection process! She put together the most delicious tasting package and overnighted it to us in Boston so that we could taste all the flavors we were considering for our wedding cake. We had a difficult time narrowing it down to just one flavor combination because they were all so delicious so Jenica recommended we select two different flavor combinations for our guests to choose from, and we’re so glad we did! Our guests absolutely loved the brown sugar vanilla cake with raspberry puree and chocolate ganache and the pumpkin cake with maple buttercream filling – many opted for a slice of each! The cake itself was beautiful, and Jenica was able to place a few loose flowers from our florist on the cake to tie everything together. We highly recommend Fancy Pants Cakes for all your cake needs!
