Liberty Hall Museum helped to make my Mid-September wedding an absolute dream. We had our ceremony in front of the lush apple orchard, our cocktail hour around the rose garden that was still blooming and our reception under the tent. We utilized the Carriage House during cocktail hour and for dessert. Liberty Hall staff, as always, was warm, helpful, accommodating and so, so patient. There was never an issue and they were quick to fix anything before it was noticed. Our photographer was so excited about all the different opportunities for unique and beautiful photos throughout the grounds, over the course of the evening. I have a hard time finding the words that truly express what an amazing location Liberty Hall is. Almost 5 years later my husband and I are still receiving compliments about our wedding day.

I would like to give special thanks to Josephine and Jessica, who have been incredibly helpful and made our work smoother and more organized. In a venue like Celebrate at Snug Harbor, which boasts multiple gardens, effective internal teamwork, and communication are essential for every event. Celebrate at Snug Harbor has a unique and enchanting natural countryside feel. It stands out from other venues, and you can easily tell why many couples love this place. The entire venue offers numerous picturesque spots, which is a significant plus for both guests and newlyweds. Over the past year, we have worked on wedding ceremonies in the White Garden and the Tuscan Garden. Let's talk about the Chinese Scholar Garden, which is the only Chinese-themed garden in New York. It is perfect for couples who appreciate Chinese culture. In conclusion, we highly recommend Celebrate at Snug Harbor. The attentive and dedicated staff, along with the stunning and uniquely styled venue, are truly impeccable. We could not have imagined a more perfect venue and team for our wedding than Sixty Pine Street and Masterpiece Caterers. The Venue: From the moment we walked into Sixty Pine Street, we knew it was the one. The space is a historic mansion tucked into the Financial District, and it is truly stunning. The bar on the first floor is absolutely gorgeous, with a classy, old-New York feel that set the tone for our entire celebration. Each room has its own personality, filled with unique artwork and murals, which made the whole night feel like an experience. Our guests loved exploring the different spaces, and the glamorous, old-school New York City vibe was everything we dreamed of for our wedding. The Catering: The food and drinks from Masterpiece Caterers were a highlight of the evening. Cocktail hour alone was unforgettable—with hot and cold stations, passed hors d’oeuvres, and options for every dietary need. Guests told us over and over how much they loved it and didn’t want it to end. Then came dinner for nearly 180 guests, and every single plate arrived warm, beautifully cooked, and perfectly timed. No one left hungry, and the wine selection elevated the meal even further. To top it all off, the late-night station kept everyone fueled for the dance floor—it was a huge hit. The Team: A special thank you to Kevin Mattner, President of Masterpiece Caterers, who ensured our wedding went off flawlessly. From our first tour of the venue through every moment of the wedding weekend, Kevin’s professionalism, expertise, and care were unmatched. He helped us source amazing vendors, designed menus that fit our vision perfectly, and coordinated every logistical detail so that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We got married at the Picnic House in April 2024 and had a great experience! It's a beautiful space that you can do a lot with. We really appreciated both having both the flexibility of choosing amongst a variety of vendors, as well as the assurance that given their experience with the venue that they'd be easy to work with day of (which was true- we had a very smooth wedding day!). We really appreciated working with Caity, who was very responsive over email and quick to pick up the phone. Our only struggle was in acquiring our parking passes (that was really the mail's fault) and in getting some answers early on regarding external alcohol policies. And I would say be very careful in selecting your caterer, since they'll make or break your experience. But overall I would absolutely recommend the Picnic House to anyone! The price really can't be beat for what you're getting.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Dressing room available
  • Classic elegance
  • Historic touches

Venue considerations

  • Not for you if you are drawn to more unconventional venues
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Does not allow pets
Our experience with CBH was nothing short of perfect! We had a small 54-person cocktail hour and reception, both in the Othmer Library, and we could not have dreamed of a more perfect space. The overall atmosphere of the library was incredible, and we leaned hard into the old-world feel of the space. Our guests were in awe when they walked in, and the fact that we were able to be involved every step of the way made it so special. CBH works exclusively with Purslane as their caterer, and all communication was done through Purslane, who are also amazing and make fabulous food. (We had many raving guests.) They also help arrange all the rentals, create the run of show, and ensure the night is running along as planned, which it did! A few things we weren't expecting: - The library itself is on the smaller side, so if you want to have dinner and dancing there, you're looking at 60 people tops. This worked out fine for us with plenty of room for a dance floor, but we did have to significantly cut our guest list. - Since the building is a historical landmark, no food or drink that could stain (red sauce, red wine, coffee, etc.) was allowed. This never bothered us, and none of our guests even noticed since we had a fully stocked bar and incredibly delicious food. - We were required to hire a professional day-of coordinator. This was not part of our budget, so be prepared if it's not in yours either. We ended up working with Mostest since they were the least expensive service we could find, and they were amazing. It turned out to be so useful to have our DOC there, so we're happy this rule was imposed, as it led to a seamless night! - The library set up a new exhibit a few weeks before our wedding in the Fransioli Gallery where we were to have our cocktail hour, and we did not know what it would constitute until a few weeks out. We ended up deciding the contents of the exhibit weren't very well suited to a wedding, and CBH/Purslane were incredibly accommodating, offering to put up pipe and drape or move the cocktail hour. We chose to move it to be in the Othmer and were so happy with that decision. Overall, CBH is a 10/10! Our wedding felt like a dream, and anything we had to sacrifice was far outweighed by the stunning space. We would highly recommend CBH as a venue if you're looking for a more intimate night with immaculate vibes!

My husband and I absolutely loved our wedding at the Montauk Club, and our guests loved it too! The gorgeous architecture and interiors photograph so beautifully. Victoria and Elena from the catering company, Purslane, were wonderful to work with. They were responsive, professional, and helped us every step of the way. My husband and I got engaged in December and married 6 months later in June 2025. It was a tight timeline for planning a wedding, but the event was elegant and so much fun from start to finish. Elena invited us to a tasting so we could choose our menu and linens and she expertly coordinated with our other vendors. We had a seven-piece band and 130 guests, and I loved that this venue could accommodate a dance floor for our friends while also having a bunch of charming, quiet spots for people to sit and mingle. Having a close friend play the Montauk Club's grand piano during our ceremony was just perfect. My husband and I researched and toured several venues in the city and outside it--we felt the Montauk Club had the best value when it came to the amount of space, the beauty of the space, and the convenience of having catering included. Prospect Park is steps away for outdoor photos, and there are plenty of bars within walking distance that would be great for an afterparty. The wedding also came with the perk of 1 year of free membership at the club. I'm writing this review from the club right now, and I love bringing friends around for a drink on the terrace. This venue has so much character and charm!

We had our wedding at the Park Chateau, and from start to finish, the experience was flawless. There’s a reason the Park Chateau is considered the best wedding venue in the state — it’s simply unmatched! The venue is the epitome of luxury, with both the outdoor and indoor spaces being breathtakingly beautiful. The grounds are impeccably maintained, from the vibrant flowers to the tranquil water features. It truly felt like stepping into a fairytale. Guests were absolutely blown away by the setting alone. Every detail, from the architecture to the gardens, was picture-perfect, creating an atmosphere that felt elegant, timeless, and incredibly special. The food was also exceptional! The cocktail hour alone was a standout — our guests couldn’t stop raving about the variety, presentation, and flavor of every dish. Many were genuinely surprised when dinner was served afterward, assuming the cocktail hour had been the main meal because it was that impressive. Both the quantity and quality of the food exceeded all expectations. We received so many compliments from guests about how it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. Most standout, however, was their service. The Park Chateau has an entire team of dedicated professionals who made sure every single detail was executed seamlessly. From bridal attendants literally on their knees scrubbing dirt off my dress, to staff ensuring we always had a drink or a bite to eat, we felt completely cared for the entire day. They checked in on us constantly but never intrusively, even bringing water around while we danced to keep us hydrated and energized. Our families were treated with such respect and warmth, and their kindness and attentiveness were noticed by everyone. The team brought our vision to life with minimal effort on our part, allowing us to be fully present and soak in every moment. The Park Chateau is a premium venue, but it is worth every single penny. It gave us the wedding of our dreams!!

The planning process was seamless thanks to our amazing planner, Antonia, who was always responsive, organized, and so helpful every step of the way. On the day of, David, our maitre d’ was phenomenal making sure every detail was in place and that the entire day flowed smoothly without any issues. He made me feel at ease the entire day. A special shoutout to Valencia, my bridal attendant, who was genuinely the sweetest and most attentive person. She was by my side the entire time, making sure I had everything I needed and helping me feel calm and cared for throughout the day. The cocktail hour was incredible. Our guests are still raving about the food and drinks! The entire staff was professional, warm, and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. If you’re looking for a venue that delivers elegance, organization, and a stress-free experience, I would 100% recommend The Palace. It was everything we hoped for and more!

We had our wedding at El Caribe on 08/26/2023 and our wedding day was perfect! My wife legitimately cried when she entered the Tiara ballroom. It was the only time she cried the entire day... she didn’t even shed a tear at the church lol. It well more than exceeded our expectations. Cocktail hour was incredible! My wife and I didn’t attend cocktail hour but we were able to see some photos from our guests and it was unbelievable! Cocktail hour included a lobster wall, an oyster shucking station, fresh mozzarella being made fresh in front of your eyes… it was incredible. We wish we had attended our cocktail hour just to view everything in person but we knew that we wouldn’t have been able to enjoy any of the food if we did (as we would have been approached by everyone trying to talk to us and wish us congratulations). Instead we enjoyed all the food being served at the cocktail hour in a separate private room. The staff and service was incredible! Alan was super attentive. He made sure that we stayed hydrated and were able to actually enjoy the food from our cocktail hour and dinner. During our private cocktail hour, Alan dressed my wife in a white tablecloth (so she didn’t spill anything on her dress) and was attending to our every needs. One of my groomsmen’s wives joined us in our private room (she was pregnant and we welcomed her to join us so she could be comfortable) and she commented how awesome and attentive the staff was and how the staff at her venue practically forgot about her wedding (we didn’t ask for her to elaborate lol). Similarly Ashley (the bridal attendant) and George were awesome as well! The MOH was struggling to bustle my wife’s dress and Ashley just took over and bustled it up quickly! I would highly suggest El Caribe for your wedding venue! After attending my wedding my cousin (who experienced El Caribe for the first time at my wedding) booked his wedding at El Caribe shortly afterwards. Also, your cake from Aliotta Pastry Shop is included when you book with El Caribe and the cake was phenomenal.

I am so in love with the Park Savoy and am so incredibly happy that we chose them for our reception! This estate is so timeless, elegant, and classy. The building itself is so naturally beautiful and has so much charm and character. I kept my own decor minimal because the building itself is just so beautiful. The whole staff was so helpful and organized during the planning process. They helped put all my anxieties at ease and allo They truly blew all of my expectations out of the water! Jess was my maitre d and she truly was my lifeline and was just absolutely amazing! Jess made sure everything I wanted to do was done and would tell us when certain events would take place or give us timing updates etc. I literally didn’t have to worry about one thing. I had the best bridal attendants. They had earpieces and were constantly communicating which helped everything run smoothly. I did not worry about one little detail, they got everything correct and helped bring my vision to life! I was so well taken care of, I never pushed in my own chair and the bridal attendants even made sure I was taken care of if I had to go to the bathroom. They took such good care of my parents and husband as well. We all felt like we were the only wedding they ever had and they had one earlier in the day and you would’ve never known! All of my guests have said over and over again how they have NEVER been to a wedding at a place like that. They were blown away by the amount of food at the cocktail hour not to mention how the food was displayed! Several of my friends and family who have attended many weddings and even had weddings themselves, said that Park Savoy was like nothing they had ever seen. One of my bridesmaids said it felt like a movie. Every table had its own waiter and every guest was taken care of with such great service. The whole night ran without any issues and Jess made sure everything was taken care of. The level of service and attention to detail that the whole staff has is honestly so refreshing and I truly felt like I was a celebrity! They know what they are doing and they are truly worth every penny! There is not one thing I would go back and change. I would just love to relive the day over again because it truly goes by so fast! I HIGHLY recommend this venue and would be happy to speak with anyone who is considering as these candid reviews helped me soo much in my booking and planning process. I will say- DO NOT HESITATE!!

Where do we begin?! We are so happy we choose the Wythe and so incredibly grateful to the entire team for making our wedding dreams come true!

JD and Cassie have been exceptional to work with - from the minute we met them at our initial tour we knew we were in amazing hands! They always promptly and kindly answered our emails, and all our changes never seemed to be a problem. They truly supported and cared for us every step of the way, and made the entire process not just easy, but fun! In addition to Cassie and JD, the entire team at the Wythe - from hotel porters, to bar and wait staff - were so incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. Seriously 10/10 hospitality from the entire team. And I can’t leave a review without mentioning the tasting night that they offer - it was by far our favorite part of the entire wedding planning process, and such a fun - and delicious - date night!! (OMG the food and beverage from Le Crocodile is so so so good!). We count ourselves so lucky to be part of the Wythe Wedding alumni and can’t wait to return year after year for our anniversary!

The venue itself was perfect for our big day. It’s a rustic raw space, but the wood and brick finishes make it warm and inviting. I docked a star because they tried to pull one over on us. When we first booked, they sent a brochure that clearly stated the venue included chiavari chairs, however, when we checked in to confirm the furniture inventory, we were told they never had chiavari chairs and I must be mistaken. When I sent the screenshot and the email with the brochure, they had no explanation. So, I will say this— it’s a nice space, but beware of false advertising.

3 West’s coordinator Marc and his staff went absolutely above and beyond for our wedding. They took my homemade centerpieces and made the solarium and the ballroom especially look truly breathtaking– but the hotel on its own is a true old New York style gem. Off-peak pricing with the room block was a great deal and worth every penny. Guests were directed from room to room quickly and with ease, communication was prompt and helpful, and the party went off without a single hitch. Thank you 3 West for bringing my dream to life!

The Sanctuary on Roosevelt Island provided the dreamiest backdrop for our wedding last month! Their entire team went above and beyond for us on our big day. Our friends and family raved about the location, the ambiance, the food, the service. About an hour before our ceremony started, it began to pour outside- and we were meant to have an outdoor ceremony! My husband and I sat in our vintage taxi parked out front of the venue, and watched The Sanctuary staff run around in the torrential downpour to save our ceremony and move everything indoors- and the fact that the rain only put us about 15 minutes behind the original schedule?! I’m still not sure how they managed it. Would also like to send a special shout out to Amelia, who more recently joined the Sanctuary team as event coordinator- she was not part of the team when we first signed out contract, but she proved to be an invaluable resource to us on the day of the wedding. She is a fabulous addition! Alfonso gave us our first tour of the venue that made us fall in love with the space. Frank was so patient and kind and answered all of our questions- and even helped us accommodate a last minute addition guest who was originally too ill to attend our wedding but who luckily recovered well enough to be able to come. Thank you again to the Sanctuary team from the bottom of our hearts for helping make our wedding the most magical and special day of our life!

If you have visited the Foundry, you know how amazing and beautiful it is, but what you don’t know before you work with them is how responsive and helpful they are once you have committed to them. We had about 130 guests and used the main room for the ceremony, the greenhouse room and space outside for the cocktail hour, the courtyard for the reception dinner, the main room again for the dancing, and the greenhouse room again for the after party (11 to midnight). We also rented the Du Val suite for getting ready, and it was a superb space for the groom’s party and extended family to get ready and hang out and also has the most beautiful garden with city views. Our wedding was absolutely amazing and vindicated our immediate love for the Foundry that we developed the first time we toured it, and the Foundry staff are extremely helpful and kind.

We had investigated about 10 venues but Birchwood Manor stood apart from them all. After having our wedding we can say how we made the right choice. All of the wedding party was comfortable and able to get ready on site. We were stress free to whole day. Farrell executed our plans every step of the way. She accommodated the entire Manor for us to use the entire day. The food ...and especially our wedding cake was out of this world. Our guests enjoyed our special day as much as we did. We are so very thankful to Farrell and how amazing everything turned out and so happy we chose this venue. To any bride out there I highly recommend this venue.

The Italian Academy provides a Public Safety guard, custodial cleaner, optional chairs and AV equipment, and a house manager to assist with making your planning easy and pleasant.
