We are Take 2, a versatile and musically experienced duo that can cover a wide variety of musical styles and selections. We offer our clients the opportunity to choose to hire Take 2 as either our classical flute/acoustic guitar duo or our saxophone/flute and jazz guitar duo.

We consist of 7-members and when we play weddings or other events we include a sound engineer with some stage lighting. We also provide other services for an extra fee. We held down a 15-year residency at The Word Famous Cantab Lounge in Central Square, Cambridge, MA before the 2020 pandemic. Not only am I the band's client relations manager, I also play saxophone and am the band's emcee. These are my ALL-TIME favorite genres to perform and The Chicken Slacks have mastered the art of re-invigorating these special genres.

Our high level of knowledge and experience allows us to provide an elegant performance that enhances the atmosphere of your special day. Music for your nuptials/wedding can be chosen from our vast repertoire (classical and non-classical) or, should you choose to add a personal touch, we can arrange any music for your event. We love to perform current music and would be happy to provide an arrangement of a piece for a nominal fee.
