I am not a daily make up user, and wanted a very natural look. I did my Bridal Trial with Brandi, who took the extra time to make sure my hair and make up was exactly what I wanted. Day of, Brandi and Alyssa were very organized and did a great job with the bridal party! Both were very patient, kind, and everyone looked stunning! Brandi helped me with my veil and also helped me take the veil out after the ceremony. Brandi even offered to help the flower girl with her flower crown! “Jenn was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding day! She spent 3 hours with me during our trial, creating intricate braids and putting flowers all over my hair as I had asked (I was going for boho/fairytale vibes, it was a barn wedding after all!). I ended up changing my hairstyle a bit from the trial to only one side up, so that the other side could swoop down with more volume as I was used to. I also decided that I wanted the flowers pinned in a cluster instead of all through my hair. Jenn was very creative and adaptive, and the final style was absolutely gorgeous. With the killer makeup (natural and elegant), I felt like a princess on my wedding day. She also did a beautiful job with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law’s hairstyles. “I met Tia when I went to do a makeup trail for my wedding day! My sister in law recommended her, since I loved the makeup she had on her baby shower! “I cannot boast enough about how amazing Blair was through my whole wedding experience. Stick with me—this’ll be a little long because I want to be sure I get everything about my experience in! I reached out to multiple HMU artists for quotes, a couple of which took days to respond, and another who never bothered to respond at all. But, not Blair—not only did she return a quote to me quickly, but she also texted me to introduce herself more personally and reach out about getting a few more details on how she could personalize the experience—and this was before we ever even spoke in person. Next came organizing a consultation, which she happily did via video chat, as I live several hours away. From the start of the call, she was easy to chat with and made me feel so comfortable with her. Come trial scheduling, Blair was stellar about finding a time and day that would work with when I would be in town and was SUPER with communication about wants and preferences prior to the appointment. She sent both a trial prep “checklist” AND a questionnaire that covered EVERYTHING, from your questions you might have, to your music preferences, and even drink of choice during your trial. When it comes to personalizing your experience, she’s absolutely top notch. Between trial and wedding day, communication stayed stellar and she answered any questions I had without making me feel like I was at all a bother, and come the big day, all my girls LOVED her. She handled 6 of us with both hair and makeup totally solo. The whole day she made sure each of us got the look we wanted and provided such a comfortable and easy-going vibe. The end result could not have been more perfect and I’m forever thankful to have found her! WORTH EVERY PENNY!”

“Alyssa is, hands down, the best there is. She is very friendly, outgoing, and caring. I had four bridesmaids, my mom, and mother-in-law and she took the time to listen to what each person wanted to done, and executed it flawlessly. During my wedding, I was pregnant - the entire time she ensured I was comfortable, gave me plenty of time to get up and move around if needed, and regularly checked to make sure I was doing okay. My hair and make-up turned out to be everything I could possibly dream of. Although I recommend doing consultations with stylists, and trials, I didn't with Alyssa because my best friend had also used Alyssa for her hair and make up on her own wedding day, giving me the utmost confidence to use Alyssa for mine. Alyssa's communication is very open, and it was easy to get in touch with her. Her pricing is very reasonable, especially for an artist/stylist who is has truly mastered her craft.
