He photographed both our engagement near Beacon, NY and our wedding in Glen Ridge, NY at the Glen Ridge Women's Club, and the results were incredible across the board. For our engagement shoot, which was mostly outdoors, Ihor recommended the best time of day so the lighting would be perfect, and it really shows in the photos. We moved around to several locations on the property, and even though the shoot was only about an hour, we ended up with tons of great shots. He was easy to work with and gave helpful direction that made us feel and look comfortable on camera. On our wedding day, Ihor arrived on time, stayed engaged the whole evening, and captured so many meaningful moments. Our venue was fairly dimly lit, but everything came out sharp, colorful, and beautiful. He did a great job capturing both the big moments and the candid ones in between, along with the emotion throughout the day. He also delivered way more photos than we expected, including a preview just a couple days after the wedding. Beyond the photos, Ihor is a genuinely great guy and a pleasure to have around. My husband and I initially reached out to her because she had photographed weddings at our original venue, and we were completely sold after looking through her portfolio. Her moody, emotional, and intimate photos were exactly what we envisioned. We are not “cookie-cutter” wedding photo people, and with every set of photos we reviewed, we found ourselves literally gasping. Our gut feeling was only reinforced once we started talking to her and getting to know her. Neither my husband nor I had ever had professional photos taken, but our engagement shoot was so much fun. As excited as I am to get to the dancefloor with you guys, I know a lot of planning goes into making your day special. As your photographer, I’ve been to a few weddings and am just a call or text away from any insight you might want. I approach every wedding with the same mentality, how can I tell the story of today in the most real way possible? I’ve found the best way to do that is to just be me. I allow myself to be present and listen to the stories unfold throughout the day.

Our details changed several times with COVID and Gabe was always one step ahead, making sure he could accommodate whatever changes were made. On our wedding day Gabe went above and beyond, working behind the scenes to cultivate pictures of such treasured moments. Most of our photos were candid, which was something that was important to us and Gabe also highlights. My husband and I really valued his authenticity and communication skills.
