“Michael Ramos with District Remix kept the dance floor going all night at our wedding! We shared some playlists with him for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and the dance floor, and he completely understood the vibes we were going for and ran with it, working in everything from Irish folk songs to KPop Demon Hunters to Bruce Springsteen. So many guests told us the music felt just like “us” and commented on what a great DJ Michael was. As the bride, I even postponed changing into my “late night” dress because I wanted to spend more time on the dance floor! “DJ Ed was so accommodating in bringing our medieval fantasy cocktail hour to life. It perfectly set the mood I was looking for, and I was so happy that he was able to play our nontraditional music selections; thankfully he was able to use a Spotify playlist I had made just for cocktail hour. I received so many compliments on the music from my guests, and he kept them dancing for hours! But the one thing Ed did that I was most impressed with and touched by, was him picking the perfect next song when my husband was dancing with his daughter. Our photographer was able to get some beautiful photos of the moment, and we will be treasuring them for years. Without Ed's instincts and quick thinking, we wouldn't have those photos. Our entire reception was on the dance floor for HOURS because he kept playing hit after hit after hit. One of my friends told me she had never seen such a wide span of generations on the dance floor at a wedding before, and she was 100% right. He was such a fantastic DJ it was hard to leave the dance floor, which is exactly what we wanted our reception to be. Marcus was also a complete professional. At one point, my husband and I realized we had fallen slightly behind schedule while trying to say hello to all our guests, which made me extremely stressed, but Marcus was immediately on top of it with suggestions for how to make sure we got back on track.
