“We booked Spike Events for our October wedding and Spenser was absolutely amazing! We had several meetings beforehand and he was on top of every concern we had. We had a wedding at a private residence outside, so electrical needs were tricky. Spenser was thorough in what he needed supplied from us and we were able to get the right electrical needs for both his sound system and the two arcade tables we rented. He also was such a fun personality to have around and added so much to the party! We have so many great photos of everyone up and dancing due to his skill of keeping things fun! He did a great job following our timeline and was very helpful in adding to it as needed when we weren't sure how to schedule things such as first dance, cake cutting and parental dances. We had aunts and uncles that I've NEVER seen dance, out on the floor tearing it up!You would not regret hiring this company! I had mentioned to him that my dream was to have a disco ball at the wedding, but having the reception in a tent made that a little tricky. However, unlike some other DJ’s I met with – Alex was hyped for the disco ball idea and immediately started thinking of creative ways we could make it work! Flash forward to the wedding day – the disco ball was PERFECT! The systems this team uses to plan the wedding day is really easy to use and we appreciated the option to be able to recommend a few songs, but also have a do-not-play list as well. We had let Alex know the varying ages of our reception guests and he made sure to create a playlist that hit the older and younger generation, so the dancefloor was always bumping! I’d recommend Alex as a DJ for anyone in the Rhode Island area, but definitely recommend the disco ball set up with him!”

During the reception, we gave him a playlist, and he struck the perfect balance between sticking to our choices and reading the crowd to keep everyone dancing. One highlight was when Joey G handed the microphone to people in the crowd, turning our reception into an impromptu karaoke party. It was a blast! He was not only fun and engaging but also very attentive to our needs. He asked how to pronounce each name correctly for the toasts, ensuring everything went smoothly. “My husband and I had some strong opinions about the music that should be played at our wedding - for example, no classic wedding songs or oldies. We asked Graeme to cater to the younger crew at our wedding (70% of our wedding guests were 35 or younger) and he delivered. Once we opened the dance floor I never saw anyone sitting down again for the rest of the night. The tent rental company had told me that the dance floor I wanted to rent was much larger then needed for our weddings size but Graeme was able to keep it full and even over flowing all night long. He knows how to throw a party! In addition we had an outdoor ceremony and even though the wedding wasn't particularity large (98 guests) the space he needed to make music & sound work for was very large and far away from an electrical source. Graeme worked directly with my venue to ensure he had everything he needed to make the day go off without a hitch.”

“Xtreme Soundz was the DJ for our August wedding and there are only good things to say about them as a team! Don’t get me wrong… when we initially booked with Xtreme Soundz and found out that Luis was not available to do our wedding, we were a little hesitant to book with Andrew since he was new to the Xtreme Soundz team, but on our wedding day, Andrew did not disappoint! Both, Luis and Andrew, were a part of the planning process from the beginning and made sure that everything was going to run smoothly the day of. During the planning process they used the app Vibo, which was an extremely convenient way for us to add songs to our wedding playlist and input other useful information so that they could create a timeline. On our wedding day, Andrew was professional, enthusiastic, and personable. He played most of the songs on our playlist as well as requests that were made by our guests to keep the party going all night. Andrew took every step to ensure that our wedding night was everything that we could’ve dreamed of and that not a minute was wasted. Náná started his DJ career in 1995, when he started performing for friends and family at parties and events.
