From the very first moment we reached out, Johnny stood out. Our initial phone call happened almost immediately after I inquired, and right away he made us feel heard, comfortable, and genuinely excited. He met us exactly where we were in the planning process and truly wanted to get to know us and our vision. By the end of that first conversation, we knew we wanted to move forward with him, put our deposit down, and we’ve been so happy with that decision ever since. As part of our package, we had an engagement session, which completely confirmed that we had made the best possible choice in photographer. The photos were absolutely beautiful, enchanting, romantic, and everything we had hoped for. Johnny’s candid shots are phenomenal. He captures real moments in a way that makes you see how beautiful, funny, kind, and genuine you look through other people’s eyes. Those photos mean the world to us. On our wedding day, Johnny was incredible. He was amazing with our guests… so warm, inviting, and easy to be around. Everyone loved him. Guests were calling him by his first name, talking about how great he was, and even following him on Instagram afterward because they were so excited to see the photos. Having already seen our engagement pictures, we knew our wedding photos were going to be gorgeous, and they absolutely exceeded our expectations. Johnny has become more than just our photographer. He’s become a friend and someone we truly want to keep in touch with over the years. We will absolutely be booking him again for any future photography sessions. We are beyond grateful that we found him and cannot recommend him enough. (I couldn’t upload some other beautiful photos just because the quality was so large and it needed to be under a certain amount of MB, BUT TRUST ME, they are all gold)

We first chatted with Max over Facetime and based on his cool, confident personality, we knew he would be able to do an outstanding job with our Boston Desi-American fusion wedding. His style of photography and editing stood out from the scores of photographers we were picking from on IG. Max worked closely with me (the bride) to coordinate themes, vibes, outfits, and location for our engagement photoshoot. While we were a whole hour late to our shoot because of Boston traffic, he was extremely kind and accommodating, making the most out of the situation and still delivering amazing photos. When I received the photos from him, my husband and I were blown away – he did some stunning portraits of myself, as well as gorgeous shots of us as a couple. We then coordinated wedding details – we opted for a video and photo package. Max’s team was so professional and knew where to situate themselves throughout the day once I gave them my schedule for the day – from Bridal gowngetting readyjewlery details, First Look, Bridal party portraits, Family portraits, solos, ceremony shots, cocktail hour, all the way to reception and EVERYTHING in between. The day was full of surprises and delays (as are most wedding days with lots of family and moving parts) but Max and his team DID NOT MISS A BEAT. They managed my bridal groom party with ease, and rallied everyone necessary for all the requested photos. Do I need to mention the beautiful final shots? We will forever cherish these photos and video. Thanks so much Evans Studio!

Thistle & Dagger Photography

Hi, I’m Emily! I’m a wedding photographer for the wildly in love, the offbeat romantics, and the couples who value a good laugh as much as a good love story. My style? Vibrant, true-to-color images that feel as timeless as your favorite song and as honest as your vows. I edit with intention – keeping skin tones real, colors rich, and moments full of life.

Awarded Best of Zola
I worked with Thistle & Dagger a little while ago on a fantasy elf shoot. Emily is did a fantastic job making me feel confident in my skin, especially because I was nervous as it was something I hadn’t done before. There were a lot of laughs and a lot of jokes. She literally made this entire shoot a fun, confident-inducing shoot. I plan to do more with her in the future.

Danny Captures Photography

  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Bondsville, MA

Hi, I'm Danny! My passion is to capture couples & their love story in a timeless way. I like to describe my style as a fusion between story-telling & editorial. I lean into true-to-life colors with a warm ambience and posing that's timeless but also interwoven with an editorial flare that's unique, artistic, and stylish. I also love incorporating story-telling stills that involve movement rather than a bunch of photos that feel "stiff" or overly posed. Story-telling moments bring wedding galleries life! I’d love the opportunity to connect with you, and hear more about your wedding vision!!

Can’t recommend Danny enough! He was so kind and easy to work with. He did such a beautiful job capturing all of our special moments. His photos made me feel so beautiful, I am so grateful!!

I had the pleasure of working with Kelsey for both our engagement and wedding photos. Kelsey was able to help us figure out what was most important to us when we wanted to look back at the memories of our day. Kelsey is incredibly creative and adaptive to whatever is thrown her way. Photography is my passion. As a third generation photographer, it's in my blood! My grandfather opened a photography studio in Chicopee during the 1940's. Growing up, I spent hours looking at family photos, studying the faces of friends and loved ones. I read the hand written notes on the back of the pictures and I was taken back to the exact moment the photograph was taken. Even if the picture was snapped long before my birth, I could feel the emotion from that time. Photographs were and continue to be an absolute treasure in my household.

Awarded Best of Zola
We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer than Danielle. She had great communication leading up to the day and created a detailed itinerary. She was enthusiastic and so helpful from the moment she arrived through the 8 hours she stayed with us. She captured everything and more with such beauty. She gave us space as a couple while still photographing every portrait and moment we wanted and also got beautiful candids we will always cherish. We definitely recommend and will book her again for all future events.

Your head photographer will always be me, Steph! You can call me Steph or Stephanie, I honestly like both which is why you will see the two interchanged often across my platforms and emails. I am a born and raised New Englander from Western Mass. and a wash-ashore currently living on Cape Cod. My favorite part about living here is the community of local artists and small businesses. We make up the heart and soul of the Cape and it is such a unique feeling to be a part of it.

Stephanie was a dream! She was able to put & keep me at ease throughout the entire day while bringing my photographic visions to life AND making me and all my guests feel comfortable and beautiful. She guided the entire experience while somehow letting us all feel like she wasn’t even there. A ninja with a camera !! If I ever need a professional photog again she’s my girl for SURE. Loved every minute of working with her!

Western MA based photojournalist and wedding photographer. Prior to coming home to Western Mass in 2010, I lived in Washington, DC. I spent 6 years as a member of the White House press corps . I was lucky enough to document a lot of historic events, including the election and inauguration of President Obama. My work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Boston Globe.

Hiring Matthew to capture my daughter's wedding was one of the single best decisions made for that day. He is thoughtful throughout the process, taking time to meet with my daughter and her fiancé and have them really think about what was important to them to capture during their special day, putting together a timeline to make the most of our time with Matthew, and then just seamlessly blending in with the day and capturing some of the most stunning photos. We were blown away! We had seen enough of his work to know we'd be pleased, but he exceeded all of our expectations. His level of professionalism is extraordinary.

Trish Kemp Photography
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Bondsville, MA

I fell in love with photography when I was 17 years old. Since then I've been on an amazing journey which lead me through art school, and graduate school majoring in Fine Art Photography. I learned the bulk of my wedding skills by shadowing a local wedding photographer for 6 years before photographing my own weddings in 2005. I've made it my life's work to be a wedding photographer and instructor, sharing my knowledge of my craft with my students and those who are eager to learn.

Trish was our dream wedding photographer for so many reasons. Let us start by saying if you are considering Trish, hire her. Trish and her second, Kyle, helped to make our entire wedding planning process and wedding day pure perfection. And we mean that. We don’t know what we would have done without Trish. To start, Trish runs her photography business in a way we greatly respected. She was so easy to communicate with. She immediately helped us to feel comfortable during our first consultation. She listened to our vision, suggested ideas she had that aligned with it, and put any nerves we had to rest immediately. It was instantly clear that Trish was the definition of professional. She was organized, honest, and prompt in her communication. During our final consultation right before the wedding, she helped us to organize our shot list, confirmed our vision again, and never made us feel rushed despite our myriad questions. To top it off, she was able to suggest some of our other wedding vendors such as our officiant, Sal Fiore, and our videographer, Embark Films. All of her suggestions were perfect for us. Having suggestions from someone who has seen these professionals at work was a huge reassurance for us, and they all delivered greatly on our big day. But even more than Trish’s professionalism on the business side of things, she is a top tier artist. The way she captures moments, lighting, etc, is pure perfection. After our photos from our engagement session with her were delivered, we were honestly in awe. She captured our emotions beautifully. The engagement session was so much fun, and it was a great way for us to “warm up” with getting to know Trish and getting comfortable with professional photography before our wedding day. Seeing her photos of us after that session put us at such ease. I am very type A and, quite frankly, tend to micromanage. But with Trish, I didn’t feel like I had to take on the stress of assembling a Pinterest board of dozens of “inspiration photos and poses” to send to her to recreate. We had complete faith that Trish was going to capture our wedding perfectly. She fully understood the assignment. She captured us beautifully in both our engagement photos and, of course, in our wedding photos, but she also captured the scenery around us flawlessly. We told her that we wanted a natural, organic look in our photos, and we wanted lots of movement. Our venue was absolutely stunning, but it did have lots of paved paths and homes surrounding it that I figured would be present in photos. However, you would never know that we weren’t in the middle of a remote field in New Zealand thanks to Trish and Kyle. She delivered beyond what we could have imagined. She tells a story with her photos, and it’s incredible. Not only is her work beautiful, but so is her personality. Your photographer is someone you are going to be experiencing some of the most emotional, intimate moments of your life in front of. They are going to be with you the majority of your day right along with your partner. Having Trish and Kyle there with us brought us so much comfort, laughter, and joy. Trish helped with everything from holding my lipstick in my bag to bustling my dress. She reassured me in moments of nervousness or insecurity, and hyped us up all day long. She holds a special place in our hearts, and we cannot recommend her highly enough.

Hi, my name is Juan, AKA Jay, I am a Western Massachusetts based photographer. I first began my interest in photography in grade school. While my teacher would conduct the class I would be interested in the images so I could make more of a connection. I was also dubbed the "family photographer" whenever there was a family function. I am more of a non-traditional photographer, meaning, I enjoy control candid photos vs traditional posing photos.

Hey! I am so glad you are here! I am a professional wedding photographer based in Boston and I LOVE MY JOB! This is my 11th year in business with over 500 weddings, elopements and engagements photographed, which means I've happily survived every timeline hiccup, weather plot twist, and rogue flower girl New England can throw at me. You may be here for my work but most of my couples hire me because of my personality; it feels like you're hanging with a longtime friend that gets things done. I discovered my love of photographing couples while I was working at Apple (super nerd over here) and it's been my passion ever since.

Her experience, knowledge, and personality truly make her the perfect package as a wedding photographer. Her energy was infectious and allowed my husband and I to relax and genuinely enjoy our wedding day confident all the moments, details, and formal photos would be captured. We purchased her package, inclusive of an engagement shoot, which we would highly recommend! Our experience with Erin from start to finish was truly flawless as she communicates each and every step and provides extremely valuable advice. She was always willing to jump on a call when we had questions, which eased our concerns as we finalized the timelines and planning approaching our day. Book with Erin, you will not regret it!

Jeffrey Rivkin Photography

I've had a camera in my hand as young as I can remember, took photography classes in high school and college where we still used a dark room to process and develop our images. I've spent the last 10 years building my business and I'm beyond grateful to call this my "job".

Jeffrey was the most wonderful wedding photographer we could have ever imagined. My husband and I were both nervous about being in front of the camera for our engagement shoot, but Jeffrey immediately put us at ease. His calm, friendly presence helped us relax and actually enjoy the experience, so much so that we went into our wedding day feeling confident and excited to work with him again. On the big day, Jeffrey’s experience and knowledge of our venue (Valley View Farm) made all the difference. Despite the rain, he was able to think on his feet and find creative, beautiful locations for our photos. The results were stunning and far exceeded our expectations. We also had the pleasure of working with Kelly Peterson as our second shooter, and she was absolutely phenomenal. Her upbeat energy, sense of humor, and eye for detail brought so much joy to the day and helped us feel completely at ease. We’re so grateful to Jeffrey and Kelly for capturing our wedding so beautifully. Choosing them was one of the best decisions we made during the planning process, and we truly couldn’t imagine our day without them.

I have the unique position of being a social butterfly and a fly on the wall at the same time: an artist, a documentarian, and part of a team that supports the enjoyment of everyone gathered to celebrate your love. I love new places and new faces. I love seeing people have the time of their lives, and I love sneaking in to grab those moments you didn't even realize were about to happen. The result: the most natural pictures that reflect how you FELT that day. I value creativity, meaningful relationships, and having fun- so if you do too, we're a good match.

Paulette was incredible! She was easy going to work with and fully listened to everything we wanted. She even had a fan on hand to help with the heat. One of my bridesmaids pointed out - she also clearly does her homework and learned everyones names and faces from our website ahead of time which allowed her to jump right in. I only have a few photos from our sneak peak so far but if these are any indication of how great our photos will be I cannot wait.

I had the pleasure of working with Cate on one of my recent weddings, and she is a joy to work with! Not only is Cate an incredibly talented photographer, but she also made the entire process of capturing the wedding day memories a breeze. She made my job as a wedding planner much easier by keeping everything on schedule and collaborating closely with the rest of the wedding team. Most importantly, Cate made the couple feel comfortable and at ease, adding humor into the day, allowing them to relax and enjoy the day, while getting incredibly authentic photos. The resulting photos were absolutely stunning and captured the essence of the couple's special day. It is so much fun to work with an artistic photographer, rather than a standard wedding photographer, because they see the day as an art piece, capturing little moments that others would let pass by. I would highly recommend Caterina to anyone in need of a talented and fun wedding photographer!

I’m so glad you stopped by to learn more about me because one of the best part about my job is getting to know amazing people. We are going to be spending quite a bit of quality time together and it’s so important to me to have a connection with everyone I work with.

From our initial meeting with Leah, it was clear that she was the ideal photographer for our wedding. Additionally, I had the opportunity to work with her on one of my friend’s weddings, where I was a bridesmaid, which gave me a firsthand understanding of her work. While there are many talented photographers, Leah’s warm, friendly, easygoing, and natural style truly distinguished her from the rest. Her ability to capture the perfect lighting and capturing those special moments made her standout amongst others. If you are looking for amazing golden hour pictures she is absolutely your girl. Her friendly personality makes smiling for photos feeling natural and authentic. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderfully amazing photographer.

Hi, I'm Kim! I've been a wedding photographer since 2023 and have experience with a variety of celebrations. I love real moments, genuine connection, and the in-between magic. I focus on relaxed, natural moments so couples can stay present and enjoy their day. Based in Western Massachusetts, serving surrounding states.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! From the moment we booked with her, she was incredible. For an entire year leading up to our wedding, she checked in regularly to make sure she understood exactly what we wanted—from must-have group shots to special family photos and every little detail in between. She made the entire photography process feel effortless. On our wedding day, she went above and beyond in every possible way. She traveled to three different locations to capture all of the moments we wanted, somehow managed to organize a huge group of family members for photos without any stress, walked us through our cake cutting, and even helped get me situated before I walked down the aisle. She wasn't just our photographer—she was a calming presence, a coordinator, a cheerleader, and someone who genuinely cared about making our day perfect. Her professionalism is unmatched, but what really sets her apart is her kindness. She made everyone feel comfortable, kept us on schedule without ever making us feel rushed, and truly went the extra mile in ways we never expected. To top it all off, she gives you all of your photos, and her pricing is beyond fair for the level of service and quality you receive. You simply cannot beat the value she provides. Choosing her was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. If you're looking for someone who is talented, organized, caring, and willing to go above and beyond for her couples, stop looking—you've found the one. We will treasure these memories forever, and we are so incredibly grateful for everything she did to make our wedding day unforgettable.

Amanda was the photographer for our wedding and she was amazing!! Not to mention she was around 30 weeks pregnant and still able to run around and get lots of pictures for us! My husband and I are not used to getting professional photos done, but Amanda made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. She set up a consultation before our wedding and made sure we got everything photographed that we wanted. On the wedding day she was amazing and so easy to work with. She gave us our sneak peaks so fast and even had our entire wedding album done about less than a month after the wedding. Her photos came out stunning and I’m so glad we used her to capture our special day. We will cherish our photos forever! We will definitely be using Amanda for any future professional photo sessions!! Also, her pricing is very reasonable!!

With 10 years of experience in portrait photography, I’m thrilled to bring my passion for storytelling to weddings. I believe every love story deserves to be beautifully captured, and I thrive on finding those authentic, candid moments that make your day unique. My approach is all about comfort and connection. I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere where you can truly be yourselves. I seek out those documentary-style moments that tell your true story and aim to capture most moments candidly.

Sarah captured our rehearsal dinner beautifully, and we are thrilled with how the photos turned out! The warmth and joy of the evening shine through in every shot. She was a pleasure to work with—kind, responsive, and quick to deliver our gallery. We highly recommend her. 10/10!

Rebecca was our wedding photographer at Winbrooke last month and I don’t have the words to say how much I loved working with her! From our first Zoom call to wedding day she stayed in touch just to check in and was happy to give recommendations for other vendors I needed. I knew she was special from our first chat but meeting her in person and spending our special day with her exceeded my expectations. She has such a kind heart and is so passionate about her work and it truly shows. Our sneak peek photos blew me away and I can’t wait to see the rest! She has a true gift and I can’t recommend her enough!
