“From the very first conversation we had with Christina and Will, we knew we wanted them to photograph our wedding. At that dinner, Christina mentioned that sometimes they feel pressure to “play it safe” like other wedding photographers. I told her exactly why we chose them—because they are different. Their creativity, originality, and willingness to take artistic risks is what sets them apart. Beyond their talent, Christina and Will are two of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve met, and we are so thankful that this experience turned into a friendship.
Another thing we appreciated is that they are with you from beginning to end on your wedding day, without stressing over hourly limits. They go above and beyond in every way. A few weeks before our wedding, Christina suggested a creative idea for our ceremony exit: since my husband works in the airline industry, she thought it would be fun to have guests throw paper airplanes as we walked back down the aisle. A week before the wedding, their family spent an entire evening folding 100 paper airplanes for us. That level of thoughtfulness still amazes us and was beyond anything we could have imagined.
This week, seven weeks after our wedding, we received our full gallery—and I was in tears. The photos are absolutely stunning, and through them we were able to relive every emotion and moment of the day. We cannot recommend The MacMeekens enough. You would be doing yourself a disservice not to hire them to photograph one of the most important days of your life. Give yourself the gift of working with them—and getting to know them.
