He has an online portal where we could input our requested songs for key events (i.e. ceremony, cake cutting, etc.), & this portal also had a section for you to identify the songs you really love & songs you like. The day of the wedding, he executed perfectly. He helped keep the reception flowing seamlessly, interacted with guests, & most importantly was able to keep the dance floor going all night. We got so many compliments from our guests saying how wonderful he was & how much fun they had thanks to him. We can't recommend him enough!”

“Clay was so easy to work with, he was so communicative and so open to all of our requests for the vibe of our cocktail hour, dinner and reception! My husband and I love indie music and wanted that for our cocktail hour and dinner but when it came to the reception, we were all for a party. We told him the inspiration was a high school dance in the 2010s and he more than understood the assignment. We got so many compliments on his work, and wish we could have shared them all with him, because he was a hit! Clay was a highlight of our night, he could tell when a song was or wasn't working for our guests. During planning, he helped us figure out whether certain parts of what we pictured would actually work at a wedding, and his advice was wonderful. I can't recommend him enough!”

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances my sister who also plays the sax could not attend which placed me in the precarious position of finding someone to replace her last minute.. “My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. “DJ Motiv was extraordinary. I was so impressed by his professionalism, communication, and willingness to make sure our night was perfect. I was skeptical at first with some reviews mentioning that the DJ’s weren’t playing the songs they chose. I immediately reached out and that was informed that it would not be an issue. ALL of our chosen music was played, with some song requests of guests (with bride’s approval, per DJ motiv - loved that). DJ Motiv checked in with us constantly, even to make sure our food was at our table, if we needed drinks, if the music was going well, and if there was anything he could do. He was going above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. I even threw in special requests during my wedding, including him stopping my parent dance half way (on purpose) as if the music turned off, to take the mic and give a short speech. He did it phenomenally. I had a game request, with him being the commentator and director of, and he took that role and ran with it. The wedding guests LOVED him. I have nothing negative to say about his services. Even the photobooth was done great! I also had a custom sign made, with our new last name, and it was perfect! Such a great item to be able keep, and you get a year warranty on it. Anyway, I highly recommend this DJ!! He MADE our wedding perfect. Everyone loved him.”

In my opinion, a DJ can make or break the experience for your guests. Niko made the experience a blast for us and for our guests, start to finish! We had just under 100 guests, very much a mix of older folks who didn't interact with the dance floor much, and friends who were on the dance floor all night. Niko did a perfect job of playing exactly what we wanted, and reading the crowd to adjust the vibe and keep the energy going. I'll never forget ending the night on a high note with Pink Pony Club and a circle of our closest friends dancing to the very end with us. He also did great with the transitions and announcements throughout the night and kept our night running smoothly. Niko has the whole planning process very well organized with consultation meetings and playlist brainstorming. His communication was professional, warm, inclusive, and organized. We loved working with Niko and cannot recommend enough!”
