Built in 1921, the Martindale Schoolhouse is an official Texas Historical Landmark. The feeling of being inside a 100 year-old school building will transport you back in time to experience what a rural school was like over a century ago. The Martindale Schoolhouse is centrally located between Austin and San Antonio and is perfect for weddings, special events, weekend getaways, and outdoor excursions. First, there’s the expansive five-room villa that was once the original school. Carefully curated with art from around the world, the schoolhouse sleeps 14 and has been fully modernized with a large kitchen, multiple seating areas, a great lawn and a covered veranda with an outdoor fireplace. Next, there's the Martindale Social Hall.
