We offer Elopement and Micro-Wedding Packages as well as larger, traditional Weddings. Old Glory Ranch is an award winning Wedding venue located in Wimberley, Texas. This beautiful Venue offers simple country elegance for Weddings and other special life events such as Rehearsal Dinners, Engagement Parties, Bridal Showers and much more. Old Glory Ranch is in the historic town of Wimberley, which is conveniently located between both Austin and San Antonio.

Get married right on the Blanco River!

The Old Glory Ranch Wedding Deck is a wooden deck that rests on the banks of the Blanco River overlooking one of the most captivating areas of rapids on the river. The deck creates an idyllic setting for outdoor weddings, commitment ceremonies, and renewal of vows, with an unlimited seating capacity for your guests. Whether you are looking for a grand celebration or something as simple as a champagne proposal or anniversary picnic by the river, the Wedding Deck provides the perfect ambiance.

Oak Grove

A beautiful spot among the trees “Whether your ceremony takes place under the majestic oak trees, or lawn games are set up for your guests’ enjoyment, no doubt you will fall in love with the panoramic sunset views offered by the Oak Grove. It’s proximity to Chapel Hall, the covered Stone Patio, Gatehouse Pavilion and Sport Court is a very short stroll, and it offers an abundance of shade for those inevitable warm Texas temperatures. An old-fashioned swing sways in the breeze and offers a picture-perfect photo-op for your event, as do the adjoining tall grassy fields enclosed with a rustic cedar post fence line. Or you can take advantage of the stunning rolling-hill backdrop with a dealership sized Old Glory flying high above the terrain and visible for miles. No matter what occasion, the Oak Grove is a scenic and serene space for any event.”

Gatehouse Pavilion

Our Pavilion is a well-suited alternative for the do-it-yourself bride and is practical for smaller and more casual events, making it a great wedding reception, rehearsal dinner, or private party space for the budget conscious. The Gatehouse Pavilion is approximately 36-by-60 feet, with a small kitchenette, two powder rooms, a sitting/dressing room, a stereo system with speakers, and a wireless mic available for toasting or announcements. It is outfitted with 10 handcrafted cedar tables and benches that seat 8 to 10 guests per table. This DIY Pavilion is complemented by a large hand-laid stone fireplace with stained glass sidelights that add a special touch to any event. It also makes a great green room for your band, as well as a space where we can provide childcare.

Covered Stone Patio

Offering panoramic hill country views in their natural state is the Covered Stone Patio, adjacent to Chapel Hall. It is the most desired area for outdoor wedding receptions and the cocktail hour, and it’s ideal both for formal or informal gatherings of all kinds. The patio is adorned with aesthetic lighting while crystal chandeliers hang from the majestic oaks. Add a beautiful sunset for your guests to enjoy while mingling and you have one of the most romantic ambiance-filled evenings imaginable.

    We love Old Glory Ranch!

    -- Our wedding at Old Glory Ranch was truly magical and unforgettable. From the very beginning, the team at Old Glory guided us with warmth, professionalism, and unwavering attention to detail. We are especially grateful to Suzanne (owner & vision guru), Kimberli (site manager), and Carey (wedding coordinator), who brought our vision to life and ensured every detail was thoughtfully planned and flawlessly executed. Nestled along the banks of the Blanco River, the setting offered the perfect backdrop for our ceremony. Old Glory Ranch is full of unique Hill Country charm, from the whimsical miniature burros and the vintage International Harvester truck to the glowing chandeliers suspended in the oak trees. Each element added its own touch of enchantment to the evening. The wedding was in May and our guests are still gushing about the amazing experience they had and how deeply moved they were not only by the breathtaking venue but also by the heartfelt attentiveness of the staff throughout the entire celebration. Dancing under the stars in the heart of the Hill Country was everything we dreamed of—and so much more! We are still floating on a cloud, reliving the magic of that night. If we could do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing. We’d choose Old Glory Ranch every single time!

    Happy Bride!

    Got married on 10/25/25, it was truly one of the best days to date. They made everything so easy and stress-free I couldn’t have asked for a better team to have by my side on my big day. They went above and beyond, and it truly showed I was absolutely taken away by how beautiful the whole venue is. The staff is absolutely amazing and the kindest of people 10/10 recommend. Very grateful and blessed to have met people like them.

    Best fall wedding I could’ve asked for!

    I could not have asked for a better venue and backdrop for our wedding! It truly was amazingly beautiful the OGR team did such a wonderful job from organizing to decorating. Everyone commented endlessly how beautiful the event was start to finish! Even after the event when we realized some things were left behind they were ready and willing to help locate the items for us the following Monday. I could not have asked for a better group of people to help us pull off our ideal wedding! I can not wait for our photos! Truly the best fall wedding I could have asked for!

From our first contact, every single interaction with Suzanne, Emily & Carey and the entire staff was top notch! Old Glory Ranch decorated each table with beautiful flower arrangements. No need to worry about inexperience here! Couples have been getting married at Old Glory Ranch since 1997 so we have tried and true experience in making your special day a most memorable one.
Depending on your choice of wedding ceremony and reception locations we can accommodate up to 300 guests for a ceremony in Chapel Hall and unlimited for outdoor spaces during good weather. For indoor receptions we can comfortably seat 140 guests on the Chapel Hall floor level in and still have a spacious dance floor. For indoor/outdoor receptions we can seat the amount above for inside the Chapel and an additional 300+ outside. We also have a custom fit tent available for the Chapel that can seat an additional 100 guests for your reception with direct access to the indoor reception area.
A true wedding package is typically a misnomer as there are too many variables. We know that different brides have different budgets, décor desires, color schemes, floral preferences, etc. and therefore do not offer an all inclusive package pricing at this time. However, for those serious about booking our venue, we can provide an estimated cost once a client set-up form is complete. There is no fee for this service and the budget worksheet is yours to keep so you can plug in real vendor figures as they are booked.
You may view our pricing here, complete the form on our website “Contact” page, or send an email to event@oldgloryranch.com. We require a $2000 security deposit with your signed contract. Another $1000 deposit along with the balance of the facility fee is required at your Design Meeting which is typically held about 2-3 months prior to your event date. The remaining balance is due 8-10 days prior to your event.
We offer a complimentary hold on a wedding date at no charge. If we receive another client requesting the same date within that holding period we will give you a courtesy call to check your interest and offer the option of signing a contract or forfeiting the date.
YES! Your wedding ceremony & reception includes a Site Manger that assists with your event planning from the day you sign your contract all the way through the day of your event. A Day-of Wedding Coordinator is also included with Saturday events.

No. Unlike many of the area’s ‘wedding factory’s’ we dedicate our full attention to the details of your event and have an impeccable reputation for customer service and satisfaction.
Absolutely – and at no charge! We love seeing brides and their families fall in love with Old Glory Ranch! Tours are available by appointment Monday – Friday from 10 am – 4:00 pm and take about 45 minutes to an hour. We can accommodate some Saturday tours depending on our event calendar for the weekend & staff availability – call 512-847-3646 or email us at event@oldgloryranch.com for availability.
Yes! We are currently not licensed to sell alcohol. All beverages, alcohol or non-alcohol are provided by the client and are required to be served by our TABC-certified Old Glory Ranch staff members. You only pay for the staff member[s], not an additional corkage fee. It is our policy to close the bars 30 minutes prior to the scheduled ending time of your event. For safety and liability purposes, we reserve the right to refuse serving alcohol to any guest we feel may have consumed too much and will also ask for a photo ID of anyone we feel may be underage.
We have two peak seasons in Texas: March - May for wildflower season & September - December
Typically July & August are our off season. Old Glory Ranch is closed for the month of August for maintenance and staff vacations.
Absolutely, we even have staff that directs your guests where & how to park to make leaving at the end of the evening. Plus golf carts to take your guests to and from the parking lot to your ceremony & reception site(s).
