Celebrate your love surrounded by stunning hill country views, where rustic charm and handmade elegance come together for unforgettable memories.

This climate controlled 600 sq ft space features an open floor plan, with lots of (openable and screened) windows and amazing natural light. Guests use the space for an indoor ceremony, wedding reception, dance hall, and after dark movie theatre, as it includes a 16 ft projector screen, projector, and speaker.

The Pavilion

Gather under twinkling lights in our pavilion, the perfect backdrop for cocktail hours, dinners, and fun-filled photo ops with friends and family.

This open but covered space features 3 long farmhouse tables to seat a total of 36 or can be transformed into whatever your heart desires. There are cute lights at night and two fans for air movement.

The Three Sisters

Exchange vows on the Three Sisters Oak Deck, where big oaks embrace your love story and benches invite guests to witness the magic under the canopy.

The deck is 20'x20' with plenty of room for the bride, groom, officiant, and more. The guests watch from the benches in front of the deck. There is electricity at the deck.

The Platuea

Host your dream wedding on our granite plateau, where the option to put a rented dining tent offers amazing views of nature while keeping you covered.

This space is a cleared granite flat spot where guests have put rented dining tents. We have a tent vendor that we recommend but you'll have to rent the tent yourselves. The space is 40'x40'.

The Treehouse

Escape to our enchanting treehouse, the perfect romantic retreat for the bride and groom to relax and unwind after their unforgettable day.

The Treehouse is usually where the bride and groom sleep on their wedding night. It's an amazing structure, nestled amongst the trees with lots of privacy. Note, the bottom floor has the bathroom and kitchen while the 2nd story has bathroom. The covered staircase is outside.

Our beautifully decorated studio serves as the perfect bridal and groom suite, offering a cozy and charming retreat for your special day.

The studio is connected to the 600 sq ft workshop and is usually used as a bride or groom suite. It has 1 queen bed and another optional queen bed for your guests to stay overnight.

The Airstream

The Bath House

Our bathhouse features three private flushing restrooms, an indoor shower, and an outdoor shower, ensuring comfort and convenience for all guests.

The bathrooms are all private, separate rooms and all wedding guests and those staying in the studio will use the bath house.

    I had my wedding here in Oct 2022 (around 90 guests). The location is absolutely gorgeous. The decor combines modern, new-age, and rustic elements in harmony with the serene woodsy setting. The venue owners worked closely with our caterer, tent company, bus driver, and DJ before and during the event so that we didn't have to worry about any logistics. Most importantly our guests are still talking about how much they loved it! Our guests could take nature walks, hang out in the outdoor kitchen/picnic tables, dance in and next to the event center, and roast s'mores at the fire pit in the evening. Staying in the cabin was magical with a 360 view of the sunrise in the morning.

    Hosting my daughter’s wedding at the Hill Country Nature Retreat was a perfect venue for our family and friends! Eugene and Marlena made themselves available to answer all our questions and willing to address any concerns we had as we planned for the wedding. From the time they welcomed us onto the property to the time we pulled out, they made sure we had everything we needed from unloading, decorating, food delivery, cleanup to departure. Throughout the week we were there, every building was so clean and nicely arranged with obvious love & care, yet they designed HCNR to build experiences outdoors in Texas nature. The views from every spot of the venue are so spectacular! One of my favorite views was atop the treehouse, especially on a clear night - oh the stars!!! Our family loved the HCNR so much we went back for a family reunion the following year. Eugene & Marlena - thank you so very much for helping us make a memorable wedding experience for our daughter, family and friends!     Hey! Local wedding planner here - so I do not take vendor decisions lightly, especially for my own wedding. Once we found Hill Country Nature Retreat - we knew we had found the perfect space for our wedding celebration. I knew I wanted something quirky, outdoorsy, and with on-site lodging. Marlena and Eugene checked all those boxes and more. They were communicative, helpful, kind, and welcoming. They answered all my questions and ensured we had everything we needed to host my dream wedding. The unique, handpicked details did not go unnoticed. The ceremony site is gorgeous, and there were may options of how to host the rest of the party. Anyone looking for a quirky and affordable venue option - this is the place.     When Hill Country Nature Retreat started hosting weddings right around the time we got engaged, we knew it would be the perfect place to get married...and we were right! The venue is STUNNING, with so many outdoor and indoor options for different portions of your event. We got married in May amidst beautiful wildflowers, but any month of Spring or Fall would be amazing there! Marlena and Eugene are the kindest, most communicative and helpful people. As the builders and owners of this amazing venue, they knew exactly what was needed to make the process of bringing in our vendors and rentals to the space completely seamless. They went above and beyond to meet all of our needs throughout our wedding planning process, and were super helpful point people during the event! If you are looking for a picturesque backdrop surrounded by the beautiful nature of Hill Country and a flexible and pleasant booking and planning experience, then this is the venue for you!
