They responded to every question within hours and never made us feel rushed, which took so much stress out of the planning process. The space itself is absolutely stunning, and they gave us plenty of decor options to make it feel like our own. What really stood out was how the team went above and beyond—they offered thoughtful suggestions, accommodated our requests without hesitation, and kept everything organized from start to finish. Our wedding day was everything we hoped for, and we have Red Ridge to thank for that. We highly recommend them to any couple looking for a gorgeous venue with a team that actually cares.

Since 2016, KRR has been one of the Hill Country's most recognizable and esteemed wedding & special event venues, hosting countless successful celebrations over many years. A uniquely elegant and upscale ranch experience, nestled into the heavenly banks of the iconic Pedernales River in the heart of the Texas Wine Country, KRR is optimally located downriver from the Lyndon B. This aesthetically, logistically flawless venue offers endless options of the finest lodging, dining, wineries, tourist destinations in the immediate area.

Wow, I am not even sure where to start with our review of King River Ranch! Absolutely everything was incredible! My Husband and I fell in love with the look and feel of the venue from the first moment we stepped on the ranch and met the owner David. He made us feel right at home and the venue was the exact place we had been looking for to get married! King River Ranch staff will even help you with floral design, vendor referrals, rentals, wedding decorations and make sure it is perfect for the best day of your life. They are experts in floral design and can help you make your wedding dreams turn into reality. The view from the ceremony site right on the Pedernales river was breathtaking. The whole place just has a magical feeling to it, The Barn, the ceremony site, the lawn areas….and all the beautiful animals that live on the property including the ranch horse King! The honeymoon suite is just beautiful, such a lovely place for the bride to get ready with her bridesmaids and for the couple to stay the night of their wedding. I could not have asked for a better venue to get ready with my best friends and it is a day I will remember forever. The groom and groomsmen have their own room to get ready with a TV to watch all their sporting events and can walk down to the Pedernales river to hang out with their buddies. My husband loved being able to use this ranch during the day! We also took our engagement pictures at the ranch which was so much fun, and I could not have asked for a prettier background for our save the dates. It was amazing to be able to meet our photographer before the day of our wedding and he also became familiar with our wedding site! People often ask us what the best part about our wedding day was and for both of us the best part about the day was dancing the night away under the beautiful hill country stars. We had several people come up to us saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to and everything was so perfect. We highly recommend King River Ranch, David, and all his staff. They go above and beyond to make everything perfect for your dream wedding. We keep in touch with everyone we met during our wedding journey and so lucky that we stumbled upon this magical venue. Thank you, David, and KRR Staff, you made our day the most special day of our lives. Love You KRR! Jordan & Chase.

The Orchard at Spring Branch was the perfect venue for our wedding day! From the moment we first connected with their team, the communication was great, helpful, and assistive - they were truly amazing to work with. The quality of their work and the value they provided was outstanding. We were able to take gorgeous photos with their longhorns on site, and I was in close contact with Rick to discuss all the details like table layouts, altar decorations, and set up times. He was incredibly accommodating throughout the process. This is a gorgeous venue with a wonderful indoor/outdoor feel and a lovely style that captured the western elegance we were going for. I am so glad we chose this location for our special day - it was truly perfect from start to finish!

We recently had the joy of celebrating our wedding at this breathtaking venue, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the natural beauty of the property—rolling hills, sweeping views, and the kind of serene atmosphere that makes everything feel magical. The venue itself is impeccably maintained, blending rustic charm with elegance in all the right ways. It offered everything we hoped for and more, creating the perfect backdrop for our big day. The property itself is nothing short of breathtaking. Nestled in the rolling hills, the views stretch for miles in every direction. As the sun sets, the landscape is bathed in golden light, creating a truly magical backdrop that made our ceremony feel even more special. The combination of rugged natural beauty and peaceful surroundings created an atmosphere that was both romantic and unforgettable. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how incredible the scenery was—it’s the kind of place that makes a lasting impression. We were thankful to have our wedding party and immediate family stay the whole weekend to give us the time to setup our dream wedding. Having the hot tub, pool and game room access was just a cherry on top of a perfect weekend! The reception was held in the venue’s hall, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The space perfectly balances Hill Country charm with elegant sophistication. High, exposed-beam ceilings, warm wood finishes, and large windows that frame the landscape outside gave the entire evening a welcoming yet refined feel. The hall was spacious enough for dining, dancing, and celebrating, yet still felt intimate and cozy. The flow of the room worked wonderfully, and the acoustics and lighting were spot-on. It was truly the perfect setting for a night we’ll never forget. A huge shoutout goes to the owner Jenny, who was warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. Their passion for the property and for helping couples create unforgettable memories truly shines through. We also want to give special thanks to Greg, their property manager, who went above and beyond for us. His attentiveness, professionalism, and calming presence made everything run smoothly. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that combines stunning scenery, excellent service, and genuine hospitality, look no further. This gem in the Hill Country is something truly special.

We got married at Memory Lane this past May- despite the thunderstorm that unexpectedly popped up AN HOUR before our ceremony, the wedding coordinator, Maria, venue owner, Bobby, and photographers, Brett and Joanna, were calm, cool, and collected and made the day happen- and happen SO smoothly. Our guests raved about the BBQ from Catering by Mopsie’s and referred to our decor and vibe (curated with wedding planner Lynda) as “dreamy”. We loved feeling the cozy feeling of the beautiful venue and grounds and felt it was the perfect place for us to begin our life as newlyweds together, while celebrating with friends and family. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting for this special day!

I genuinely cannot say enough good things about The Allegro. From the second we toured, we were blown away by the views and property. It feels tucked away and private, which made our wedding day feel so exclusive and intimate, even with a full guest list. The onsite cottages were a game changer as well. Being able to get ready right there and not have to worry about transportation or timing stress made the whole day feel relaxed and smooth. Our bridal party loved it. One of my favorite parts was the free in-house decor catalog. It saved us so much money and time not having to rent a million little things from different vendors. They have so many beautiful options and it honestly elevated the entire look of our wedding. And Riley… truly the MVP. She was so accommodating, calm, and helpful throughout the entire process. No question was too small, and she made everything feel easy and organized. You can tell she genuinely cares. If you’re even considering The Allegro — book the tour. It’s one of those venues that somehow looks even better in person.

Casinada
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Wimberley, TX
  • Up to 30 guests
  • Raw space
  • Outdoor & indoor
  • Starts at $1,950

Casinada is a unique “mini-ranch” that we created as the perfect location for our own wedding, with multiple indoor and outdoor possibilities. Now we want to share it as a truly intimate and unforgettable ceremony space for you and your loved ones. 5 private acres of serenity meet modern luxury in a spacious 2000+ sqft ranch-style home - Rustic outside, fully modern inside. The buildings beautifully blend history and modernity. Crafted from reclaimed wood of three vintage Texas homes, the oldest dating back to 1873, it features modern amenities like Nest controls. We're proud of our low environmental footprint with solar power, rainwater supply, and geothermal AC. You have full access to about 5 acres of the property. It includes: • the main house, with 2000 sqft indoor space + 600sqft outside porch • outside covered pavillion/gazebo for activities, with an additional 600sqft of space, and electric outlets • a couple of short trails to explore • plenty of outside space

Why you'll love this venue

  • Caters to out-of-town guests
  • Has an intimate feel for a small guest list
  • Dressing room available

Venue considerations

  • Better for more intimiate events
  • Not for you if you prefer a more modern aesthetic
  • Does not provide event staff
Amazing venue for small weddings and events. Very beautiful and so close to wimberely but feels completely remote. The house is a perfect marriage of vintage and modern where the outside is a cabin beautiful for picture while the inside has a modern feel with large windows and full of light. Multiple covered areas to have outside tables and event and the garden is simple and lovely with a large beautiful oak tree that umbrellas the house

About wedding venues in Blanco, TX

Why Is Texas an Exceptional Wedding Destination?

Texas offers an incredible variety of wedding settings across its diverse landscapes. You'll find everything from romantic Hill Country vineyards to stunning Gulf Coast waterfronts that provide perfect backdrops for your special day. The state is home to countless venues that showcase authentic Texas character while still matching your personal style. Think rustic barns where longhorn cattle graze nearby or sophisticated urban venues with dramatic city skyline views that'll impress your guests. Many Texas venues incorporate unique regional touches you won't find elsewhere; live country music that gets everyone dancing, mouthwatering BBQ stations and custom boot favors that celebrate local heritage. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, you'll find Texas venues ready to accommodate your vision.

What's the Average Cost of Wedding Venues in Texas?

Wedding venues in Texas typically cost between $3,000 and $30,000+ depending on what you're looking for. The national average runs about $6,500-$12,000 which represents roughly 25% of your total wedding budget. Your overall wedding costs will depend largely on how many people you're inviting to share your special day:

Guest CountAverage Total Wedding Budget
50 guests$19,410
100 guests$32,365
150 guests$44,545
200 guests$55,433
250 guests$66,322
300 guests$77,211

Which Wedding Venue Types Are Most Popular in Texas?

Texas venues offer distinctly regional experiences that capture the state's diverse character. Hill Country locations around Fredericksburg give you gorgeous vineyard settings with beautiful limestone architecture and sunset views that will take your breath away. If you're considering Houston, you'll find venues that thoughtfully incorporate bayou landscapes alongside sophisticated cosmopolitan amenities. Dallas spaces tend to showcase luxury urban environments with elegant design elements that create a refined atmosphere. Fort Worth venues perfectly blend Western heritage with modern conveniences for a uniquely Texan experience. November emerges as the most popular month for venue inquiries across the state, so you might want to plan accordingly if you're interested in this popular time frame.

How Far in Advance Should You Book Your Texas Venue?

Texas couples typically book their wedding venues about 16 months (or 457 days) before their wedding date. November stands out as the most popular month for venue inquiries so planning early is essential if you're considering this timeframe. This advanced booking timeline helps you secure your preferred date since popular venues often fill their calendars far in advance especially for prime weekend dates. Booking early also allows you to lock in current pricing before annual increases that many venues implement. Plus you'll have more time to work with venue coordinators to customize floor plans and discuss details that will make your celebration uniquely yours.

Where Can You Find Accessible Wedding Venues in Texas?

Madera Estates in Conroe stands out for its commitment to accessibility with fully paved event spaces that accommodate wheelchair navigation throughout the property. You can host up to 330 guests here and the venue is frequently praised for physically walking through accessibility needs during the planning process. You'll also find excellent accessible options at Jennings Trace near Houston which offers single-level celebration spaces. Hummingbird Hill Weddings in Chappell Hill prioritizes inclusive design throughout their venue and The Preserve at Canyon Lake features wheelchair-friendly pathways connecting all major celebration areas. These venues ensure all your guests can fully participate in your special day regardless of mobility considerations.

Which Texas Wedding Venues Offer Outstanding Culinary Experiences?

The Bell Tower on 34th in Houston delivers exceptional dining experiences under Executive Chef Sergio Arellano. His international culinary team creates gourmet meals on-site that will impress even your most food-savvy guests. Food-focused couples should also consider Steiner Ranch Steakhouse in Austin where you'll enjoy spectacular views alongside premium cuts of Texas beef. Cisco's Salsa Company near Tomball has built a reputation for their award-winning Mexican cuisine that adds authentic flavors to your celebration. Avenida Brazil Churrascaria Steakhouse in the Houston area offers a unique Brazilian steakhouse experience with tableside carving and a festival atmosphere your guests will remember long after the wedding day.

How Can Texas Venues Support Remote Wedding Participation?

For couples wanting to include loved ones who can't attend in person, several Texas venues now offer more than just basic streaming services. Venues like Agave Estates Mara Villa and The Middleton Venue in Katy specialize in creating interactive remote experiences that make distant guests feel truly present. You can work with these venues to design custom interactive elements that go beyond passive viewing. Think virtual guest books where remote attendees can leave video messages remote toasts synchronized with in-person celebrations and even coordinated dance moments. These thoughtful touches ensure everyone feels included in your celebration regardless of where they're located.

What Wedding Expenses Should You Budget for in Texas?

Beyond your venue there are several other key expenses to consider when planning a Texas wedding.
