Meyer’s Castle is such a hidden gem—you’d never expect to find a place like this in the Midwest! I’ve had the chance to shoot two weddings here, and both times were such a dream. The venue itself is stunning and feels like a little escape from the everyday. But what really makes it stand out is the team. The staff is always so kind and helpful, especially Kate—not just with the couples, but with us vendors too, which honestly makes the day run so much smoother. I can’t wait for the next time I get to come back and create more magic within those castle walls. Forever a fan of this place.

We are so glad that we discovered Stonegate Manor for our small family ceremony! To start, it is so close to Lake Michigan. We were able to get a photo op at the beach in our casual clothes before the ceremony. Then when we arrived at Stonegate, there was plenty of space in the beautiful manor house for us to change into our ceremony outfits. And speaking of photo ops, the grounds are beautiful and have tons of options for beautiful backdrops. We chose the Fairy Garden as our location, and since we were planning our wedding on a very short timeline, we didn’t have any extra decorations. We didn’t need them! It was the perfect secluded spot for us to say our vows with our family members, both human and canine (did we mention Stonegate is dog friendly?!). As I mentioned, we were planning our wedding with only about a month’s notice, and at first we thought that we’d just go to the courthouse. We can’t say how glad we are that we chose Stonegate instead. While we wanted the day to be a casual, stress free event, we also wanted it to be special and memorable. Having an elopement package that includes flowers, cake and other extras eliminated planning stress and decision fatigue, and Prudy is so easy to work with and was able to accommodate the requests we did have to make the day uniquely ours. If you are planning on having your wedding at Stonegate Manor, expect personalized customer service, consistent communication, and a warm welcome when you arrive for your big day.

I got married here in August and it was the most incredible day. The end of summer is when the garden is in full bloom which makes having an outside ceremony ethereal. When we toured the venue, I knew immediately it was where I would marry my husband. I've never seen a venue so unique and beautiful. I adored the getting ready spaces, the ceremony arch, the chandelier in the reception, and the vintage cohesion of the entire venue. The separate bar/dancing room and reception/dinner space is genius, especially if you plan on having guests that aren't interested in dancing but want a comfortable area to converse. It rained during our reception but it made it all the more special to be safe inside celebrating while it stormed outside. We worked with Liv who went above and beyond for us. I am sad to not have another opportunity to work with her again! She was so helpful and accommodating during our tour and rehearsal, and made sure everything ran smoothly during the ceremony, AND she came back when we accidentally blew a breaker. Overall, I highly recommend choosing Sundance and the Secret Garden to have your wedding, as well as one of their sister venues if you prefer a different setting. I enjoyed working with Amelia and Kirby, who were helpful and quick with their communication. It's a true testament to their artistry experiencing the heart and soul poured into these incredible venues during the most special day of our lives. I will reminisce on every moment forever.

If you are looking for a ONE OF A KIND and modern barn themed wedding, Etre Farms is the location that surpasses all others. Not only is the venue unlike anything I have seen before but the staff from Day 1 have been so approachable and amazing to deal with. Rather than telling us rules and limitations and "cookie cutter" packages like most venues, the staff at Etre Farms got to know my fiancée & myself as a couple and our personalities before anything else. Their attention to detail is refreshing and gives us confidence in our wedding running flawless in May of 2022.
