“We had the most incredible winter wedding at Church Landing. The views of the frozen lake and snowy mountains were spectacular. We spent most of our time inside because it was so cold, but that was perfectly fine since the ballroom was so beautiful and elegant. Our assigned wedding coordinator Rachael Boisvert was amazing. She made everything I wanted to do happen without question. She went above and beyond by not only coordinating the staff and setting up the tables but also setting up the extra decor items I brought in a beautiful way too. She brought my vision to life. I was surprised by how easy she made the day before and the day of the wedding! The waitstaff was equally amazing, so attentive to our needs and wthe needs of our guests. We paid one reasonable price for the venue, food, open bar and we even added the rehearsal dinner in a different room at Church Landing! All in all it was a great value. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our special day and we are so grateful to the entire team at Mills Falls for making it unforgettable! ”

“Absolutely speechless. Dell-Lea is chef’s kiss perfect. We had the most amazing fall weather and foliage and sunset. Completely blow away by how effortlessly beautiful the day was - we brought no outside/ceremony decorations because the backdrop is so stunning. Laurie - our day of coordinator - was the master of all masters. She handled everything and seemed to be in 10 places at once all night long. She always checked in with us to see if we needed more food or drinks. She seamlessly handled a vendor snafu - our three bus drivers did not order a meal when I asked before our final headcount was due, but requested a meal on arrival at the venue. Laurie provided them each a meal and I didn’t hear a peep about it until the night was over! She helped my family pack up our decorations at the end of the night and made sure we had everything we needed. She even donated my bridesmaids bouquets to a local nursing home! The food - cannot say enough about how delicious the food was. Multiple guests came up to us during and shortly after dinner service to rave about their meals - the stuffed chicken, espresso encrusted filet, and cashew cheese ravioli. All so good, and my husband and I had all three at our table! The appetizers - incredible! The family recipe crab rangoons are worth the hype! The bartenders were incredible all night and nailed our signature cocktails. Working with Dell-Lea was seamless. I sent only a handful of emails before our details meeting because everything is so clear. Dell-Lea offers rental decorations, so we chose to rent table numbers, eucalyptus strands, centerpiece accents, and popular signage, saving us so much money. We cannot say enough good things about Dell-Lea - our day was so beautiful and perfect. We hope to be a guest at Dell-Lea someday!”

The barn itself is exactly the rustic vibe we were going for - it’s spacious, airy (the huge ceiling fan was so nice for the summer) and full of twinkle lights! We paid extra to have our ceremony in the pasture - DO IT!! The Highland cows (yes…cows!!!) were witnesses to our wedding and it was such a fun touch for the guests to hang with them during cocktail hour! Kelsee - the venue manager - is absolutely amazing. She was able to answer every random question I threw her way, and helped to setup the space exactly how we wanted it! She’s also been renovating, and for our wedding we had both a bridal suite and grooms suite on site, which was perfect! I’d 100% plan another event there. I highly recommend this venue - for its charm, the cows (duh), and especially the people that work there!!”

“My husband and I got married at the Barn on the Pemi on 5/31/24, which works closely with the Common Man Inn & Spa. We had our room block, rehearsal dinner, and after party at the Inn, but I'm here to rave about our experience with the Spa! After booking our venue, I spoke to the Inn about any accommodations or recommendations they might have for somewhere for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready the morning of the wedding. They actually have what they affectionately call the "Getting Ready Room," which can be reserved ahead of time. I saw some pictures, saw that the room had some nice natural light, floor to ceiling mirrors and salon chairs, so I figured it was our best bet. Come wedding week and I went down to the spa with my bridesmaid to see the room and the pictures definitely did not do it justice! The room is large with a sitting area with a couch, table and chairs in the middle and salon-style chairs and mirrors around the perimeter. Our hair and makeup stylists were THRILLED with the setup, since they are used to cramped, poorly-lit hotel rooms for wedding prep! I will let the pictures speak for themselves, but want to add one more thing. The night before the wedding, one of my nails (done at a salon back home) broke and popped off - nightmare! I kept the broken piece and brought it to the Spa the morning of the wedding to see if they could help. The Spa staff went above and beyond to make sure my nails looked perfect. One of their nail techs sat in front of my while I was having my makeup done, glued the nail piece back on, and put a top layer of the. white french tip and clear coat shellac over all of my nails to make sure they all looked the same. I would highly recommend the Spa Getting Ready Room for the morning of your wedding - the space and the staff are fantastic!”

“Cardigan Lodge is THE place if you want to spend quality time with your people on your wedding day. We had guests come up Friday afternoon and they stayed through Sunday morning which allowed us to meaningfully connect with each of our guests. A favorite moment was early Saturday morning drinking coffee and puzzling by the fireplace before the commotion of wedding day began. Every meal was excellent and accommodated a large variety of dietary restrictions. The AMC staff was happy to help and executed each task we asked of them with care and attention to detail. Carter (business manager) and Skye (lodge manager) were excellent to work with. They were responsive to our questions and set expectations for what the AMC would provide vs. what we would need to coordinate from the start. For us, the lodge was a blank slate and, with the AMC's help, we made my lofty vision a reality. But really, Cardigan Lodge is beautiful as is and the mountains and forest provide a stunning backdrop on their own. My husband and I cannot recommend Cardigan Lodge enough, we wouldn't change a single detail if we had to do it over again. photography - Erica Warren Photography florist - Mountain Roots Farm”

“We are SO grateful that Claudine was a part of our big day. We worked with Claudine as the day of coordinator for our June wedding, but she helped us with much more than that. We knew Claudine and her assistants meant business as soon as they walked in with name tags and big smiles. There was truly a lot to keep track of the entire day— from directing lawn games in the afternoon and ferry departures in the evening, to the unexpected added duty of cake cutting and serving, Claudine was on top of it in every aspect. She was highly organized, very professional, and went above and beyond the entire time. Everything ran so smoothly thanks to her and it truly couldn't have been a better day!”

“Choosing the Barn on the Pemi was the best decision we made when it came to planning our wedding! From the very beginning they made the process so easy! As soon as we toured we fell in love! The atmosphere is perfect and the greenhouse gives the option for an outdoor wedding regardless of the weather! We knew that we wanted a Halloween wedding, but end of October is always a toss up with weather! We lucked out and got a 70 degree day and ended up switching to the terrace! The views were breathtaking! Our coordinator Krysta was incredible! She was always there to help out with any problems or questions leading up to our wedding! She went above and beyond the day of and truly made our day so special!! By the end she didn’t feel like a coordinator, she felt like a friend! The food was incredible! All our guests have reached out to rave about the food! Overall the barn was just incredible in every aspect and gave us the wedding of our dreams!”

“We had our wedding at the Inn at Pleasant Lake in Sept 2024. The day couldn’t have been more perfect and it was mostly thanks to the fabulous and attentive staff at the inn. The location is beautiful and serene, grounds were immaculate and they remembered every detail that we asked for. Kate was one of the biggest reasons we chose to have our wedding there. She is thoughtful, never pushy or rushed, detail oriented and responsive. Our guests raved about the food at each event (rehearsal, wedding and brunch) and having access to the full Inn and grounds made for a relaxing weekend getaway for our families and us. I only wish we could do it all over again!”

“First Zola review! The short and sweet review of this venue is that it was perfect. If it’s details you’re looking for, then we have those for you too. Prior to getting engaged, we had discussed what our ideal wedding day would look like and had both agreed that a mountain-top ceremony was what we both envisioned. For the moment we turned into the Pat’s Peak parking lot and saw the beautifully maintained grounds, rustic ski-village inspired buildings, and cozy lodge we had a feeling we had found our wedding venue. The wedding team at Pat’s Peak was incredible to work with, helping us through every single step and answering every question we threw their way. A huge standout to us as a couple was how accommodating they were of our requests and the level of personal touches we were permitted to do which made our day extra special. While it is of course important to hear what the bride and groom thought of the venue, an aspect we’d like to add to this review is what our guests thought. It’s been two weeks exactly since our wedding at Pat’s Peak and we’re still receiving non-stop compliments from our guests on the venue we chose. We opted for the summit ceremony and we will remember that chairlift ride and view from the top as we got married for the rest of our lives. The weather was perfect for us (which we know is not always the case) but a BIG reason we picked Pat’s Peak is because we liked the weather back up options that were provided to us. Our guests RAVED about the chairlift ride to the top for the ceremony and the scenic ride down for the reception. Special call out here for the lift operators who went above and beyond to be friendly and genuinely excited for our big day. As the bride and groom, we loved the ability to set up lawn games like giant Jenga and cornhole on the deck that provided the perfect environment for guests to enjoy a cocktail, mingle, and connect during cocktail hour and the reception. We opted for a buffet style meal, which provided more than enough food for our guest count of around 100. Everything from the apps, buffet dinner, s’mores bar and ice cream sundae bar was absolutely delicious. To wrap this review up, we’d like to call out Pat’s Peak staff including Brigid and Mary Beth. These two (including our bartenders, and the rest of the amazing staff) worked tirelessly in perfect coordination with our vendors to make sure our day was completely perfect and ran smoothly. We cannot thank them enough for all their help and hard work. Prior to our wedding, we had no connection or tie to Pat’s Peak but now, it will forever hold a special place in our hearts. If you’re considering Pat’s Peak and looking for a quaint, rustic, and inexplicably cozy wedding venue, we’ve found it.”

“Choosing Camp Cody as our wedding venue was a huge decision and an excellent choice. Anna was so helpful throughout the process, and Dora was amazing weekend of–I never saw her standing still. The venue is so gorgeous, and being able to host our friends and family for a whole weekend made everything go by more slowly, with plenty of opportunities to connect with everyone. The Capture the Flag game we held morning of was a big highlight. The food was INCREDIBLE, and our guests haven’t stopped commenting on it. Everyone says you don’t eat at your wedding, and you better believe that was not true for us. As a person with a lot of food allergies, I’ve never felt more cared for and accommodated, and it was amazing to have that for our guests as well. In one notable moment, my cousin with celiac jumped with joy at the prospect of having gluten free pancakes and french toast for breakfast. The accommodations were comfortable, even in 30-40 degree temps overnight, the heat really works! Staying on site and not having to run around everywhere looking for everything and everyone made a big difference as someone without a planner. Also, arranging folks in cabins was not as stressful as we expected it to be. With our smaller wedding, we had plenty of space to spread people out. Thank you again to White Mountain Weddings for an amazing weekend!”

“I cannot say enough positive things about the Rosewood Country Inn as a wedding venue. This venue is special in that you get the entire 11-room inn for the weekend (Fri-Sun), and so we were able to have our closest friends and family staying with us, which was a blast! The inn offers a beautiful country setting on the outside that is perfect for an outdoor ceremony. We held ours at the gazebo in the courtyard, which was surrounded by beautiful trees and scenery that make for gorgeous pictures. The dining hall of the inn hosts the reception, and is perfect for an intimate and stylish dining experience that then morphs a dance floor! The food is excellent (Stan's stuffed french toast can't be missed), not only for the reception but the rehearsal dinner and breakfasts on Sat and Sun. Stan and Odo are extremely kind and gracious hosts, who let us make our wedding truly our own!”

“We cannot say enough wonderful things about The Everlee but we will try! From the moment we first toured this stunning new venue, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. The barn and pavilion are absolutely breathtaking, with every detail thoughtfully designed, and the outdoor ceremony space gave us the most magical backdrop for our day. One of the things that mattered most to us was having a truly private setting, and The Everlee delivered that perfectly. After touring several venues that felt like we would be on display, it was such a gift to find a place that felt peaceful, secluded, and completely ours for the day - it felt like home as cliché as it sounds. What truly made our experience unforgettable, though, was Andee. She went above and beyond for us every step of the way. Her planning and organizational skills are unmatched—she thought of every little detail before we even knew to ask. Even our families, bridal party, and guests had nothing but amazing things to say about Andee. Beyond her professionalism, Andee is genuinely kind, supportive, and calming, which made the entire planning process so smooth and enjoyable. On our wedding day, we were able to be fully present because we knew we were in the best hands. We wholeheartedly recommend The Everlee to anyone looking for a venue that combines beauty, privacy, functionality, and heart. And if you have the chance to work with Andee, consider yourself incredibly lucky—she is truly a dream coordinator and beautiful person inside and out!”

“Our experience with Owl’s Nest was absolutely incredible from start to finish! From the moment we toured the venue with Gail, we knew this was where we wanted to get married. She made the entire booking process so easy and helped us choose the perfect date. Owl’s Nest truly offers an all-in-one experience — the on-site lodging made it so convenient for our family and friends, and every space on the property is breathtaking. We hosted our wedding in The Lakehouse, which was stunning, and originally planned to have our rehearsal dinner and welcome party in The Vault. When our guest list grew, the team seamlessly moved our welcome party to The Sunset Pavilion, and it worked out perfectly! We even reserved the golf simulators at Slice, which added such a fun touch for our guests. A huge thank-you to Taylor, our event planner — she was absolutely amazing. She put so much thought and detail into everything and made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. The night before and the day of the wedding, she and her team went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. I was nervous about vendor coordination, and Taylor personally reached out to each one to confirm everything so I wouldn’t have to worry. On our wedding day, she was my cheerleader, problem-solver, and calm in the chaos. I know Owl’s Nest has several planners, but I truly feel so lucky to have had Taylor. She made our entire experience unforgettable, and we could not have asked for a better venue or team.
