We had our wedding at Ludlow Mansion in Monroe WI and it was fantastic. Penny and Greg are great and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Our guests continued to comment throughout the night how the venue was beautiful. Our wedding was in April and they were so accommodating to moving the ceremony to be inside instead of outside the morning of the wedding. I highly recommend going with the three day package as it made everything less stressful. I cannot say enough how happy we were to have our wedding at Ludlow and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for that all in one place for their weddings!

Pheasant Valley Barn
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Brooklyn, WI
  • Up to 300 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor

We welcome you to Pheasant Valley Barn! The barn is nestled in a scenic valley in the middle of our farm. The Byrne family started dairy farming in Wisconsin after emigrating from Ireland in the 1870's. In 2003, we decided to renovate our 1890's barn. We added a new metal roof and restored the interior of the barn. To celebrate, we had a barn dance for Duane's parents' 40th anniversary. Thus began "The Party Barn". In the fall of 2018, our son Cory married his fiance, Jenny. It confirmed our idea of starting a barn venue and sharing our barn and farm with others. We have been asked many times, "Why don't you rent out this barn?" We have decided the time is right to diversify our farm and start this event business. We are so happy that we restored our barn. As more and more barns and farms are lost, our barn is preserved and now can be shared with others to create a memorable and special day for your event!

Why you'll love this venue

  • Provides a dedicated team on-site
  • Rustic-chic setting
  • Dressing room available

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
  • Not for you if you prefer a more modern aesthetic
My husband and I were married at Pheasant Valley Barn this past summer and we could not have been happier with our venue choice. Lindsay, the owner, was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the entire planning process, offering timely advice and insights that ensured our rustic, flower-filled wedding vision came to life seamlessly. The beautiful, open barn provided a warm, welcoming backdrop for our special day. Lindsay worked hard to infuse personal touches that made our wedding feel unique. From the first venue walkthrough to the final farewell, Lindsay was there to answer every question, calm every worry, and handle all the behind-the-scenes details with total professionalism. We were able to relax and soak in every magical moment knowing we were in very capable hands. I would enthusiastically recommend Pheasant Valley Barn to any engaged couple searching for a venue that delivers beauty, charm, and outstanding service.

  • Unique barn setting
  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away
  • Both indoor and outdoor options

Venue considerations

  • Requires outside catering services
  • No built-in audiovisual options

Our wedding at Four Winds was perfect. It is a beautiful facility that can host both indoor and outdoor activities seamlessly. Four Winds treated us very well, and it was easy to plan our wedding with them. Four Winds provided tables and chairs, in addition to the beautiful furniture they have inside and on the patio already. It was easy for our vendors to set up food. And the drinks that Jay designed for us were amazing. The day of our wedding, Four Winds helped keep water pitchers full and spaces clean. I've been at several weddings that didn't have refreshed water pitchers or other services, and Four Winds anticipated our needs before we even noticed them. And we've gotten so many compliments on the venue since our wedding!
