Rustic Country Gatherings

We had a wonderful stay at the Quality Inn in Mineral Point last night! The service was excellent, and I especially want to recognize Bob, who was working at check-in. My husband and I were traveling with his father, who uses a walker. I hadn’t thought to ask about an elevator or request a first-floor room, so when we were given a second-floor room, I realized the staircase would be impossible for my father-in-law. Bob immediately made a phone call and went above and beyond to help us. He moved us not only to the first floor, but to the room closest to the entrance. He was incredibly kind, understanding, and accommodating, and his willingness to help made a stressful situation so much easier. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely stocked with everything we needed. The continental breakfast was also very nice, with eggs, sausage, pastries, a waffle maker, and several beverage options. The cook kept the hot food coming and did a great job keeping everything stocked. The price was also very reasonable, especially considering the clean, comfortable room, breakfast, and excellent service. We felt we received a great value for our stay. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The clean and comfortable room was great, but the exceptional customer service really stood out. Thank you to Bob and the staff for making our stay such a positive experience!

My daughter Kirsten and her fiancé, Ben were married there yesterday and it was such a wonderful place. The wedding was outside and the accommodations on the inside for the reception were great, as was the staff.
