“Choosing Just the Melody Band was hands down the best decision we made for the entire wedding! Melody and Edvin (and the whole band!) are so talented, not to mention so versatile! My fiance and his family are from Mexico and my family is from the US, so we wanted to be able to dance to US wedding classics and early 2000s throwbacks as well as Latin pop, Shakira, and lots of traditional Mexican music and cumbia! We went into our vendor search having no expectation that we’d find a band that could do ALL of that — but we lucked out finding Just the Melody! They can do it all, and SO well! Our wedding guests were on the dance floor until 1am! They also learned our first dance song for us and performed it almost better than the original :) Above all, they were so kind and accommodating and fun to work with and they cared so much about making sure the evening went exactly how we wanted it to go. The week before the wedding, I was able to speak directly with DJ Big George and our photographer JP to finalize all the details. DJ Big George was fabulous - he kept the music flowing smoothly and read the crowd perfectly, even though I didn't provide a detailed playlist. JP the photographer was fantastic! Had a great personality and always there to capture the important moments, like when my dress broke right before the ceremony and he offered tools to help the girls fix it! He spent extra time making sure we were posed well and I cannot wait to see the photos! Eclectic Events truly made our special day even more memorable. We had a fantastic time dancing all night thanks to their incredible service.”

Our wedding was in Stone Harbor, NJ but our families and friends are from New York to the suburbs of Philadelphia and we needed a company that would keep the party going for everyone from 20-90 years ago, and they did just that! They are an experienced duo that had great recommendations and asked us questions that you may not think of during the planning stages. They listened to all of our song requests as well as, more importantly, our do-not play list. When hiring a DJ you don't always think of how the company you choose will also be the MC or "host" of the night. Steve added special touches throughout his announcements while sticking to the flow of the night AND keeping the party going! The dance floor was packed all night and I continue to receive rave reviews from friends and family on how great the music was at our wedding.
