Milton Ridge was an incredible place to get married! The beauty of the venue and the inclusive wedding options (i.e. catering, DJ, etc.) made this the absolute perfect place to say, "I do!" The getting ready suites were superb & made the day of preparation before the ceremony seamless. The chapel was so beautiful and such a great little spot off the side of 355. Our guests still comment on the simplicity of how we decorated the chapel, and how beautiful the white walls and natural light streaming in were during the ceremony. I was not sure how we'd get group photos on the property... and our photographers were able to use the beautiful stone and green areas within the venue to capture the most beautiful photos of the bride, groom and the wedding party! Guests are still RAVING about how convenient it was to walk up a few stairs to the cocktail hour AND into the reception. They marveled at the ease... park your car, attend the ceremony and then stay and party all night long until it's time to leave! The reception hall was beautiful; the buffet food was to die for; and Meghan and Brandi ensured that EVERY detail of our wedding day was accounted for, seamless and flowing without any hitch! I cannot recommend Milton Ridge enough! Thank you for making our wedding day the most memorable and BEST day of our lives! We owe it to this team, this venue and their support with planning our wedding every step of the way!

Our wedding at TCRH was everything we dreamed of and more. From the moment we toured the manor and met the wonderful owners, Jerry and Michelle, we knew it was the perfect place. The manor house is warm and charming, offering a beautiful space for our bridal party to gather in the morning. The grounds are stunning—our ceremony by the pond was serene and picture-perfect, and cocktail hour on the pavilion and around the yard let our 140 guests spread out and enjoy the sunset. Using the venue for our rehearsal dinner the night before was such a treat, letting us bring our decor ahead of time and enjoy the space stress-free. Every detail of the weekend felt magical. I can't recommend TCRH enough—our guests raved about the venue, and it was the perfect place to marry my best friend.

The Stone Mill 1792 was the perfect venue for our baby shower. From the very beginning, their communication was timely, high-quality, and friendly, which put us at ease throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself is truly picturesque, with its charming, beautiful historic stone mill and surrounding natural scenery. It felt magical and cozy, creating an intimate and memorable atmosphere for our celebration. The historic Liriodendron mansion, built in 1898, was the summer residence of Dr. Howard A. Kelly, one of the four founding physicians of Johns Hopkins Hospital. Sold to Harford County in the late 1970s, the mansion now operates as a historic, cultural, educational, and recreational facility, managed by the nonprofit Liriodendron Foundation, Inc. A hidden treasure nestled in the woods, edged with flower and boxwood gardens. Celebrate your special day here and create beautiful memories for hosts and guests alike.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Picturesque garden backdrop
  • Combines timeless elegance with history
  • Has an intimate atmosphere

Venue considerations

  • Additional event staff required
  • Does not allow pets
  • Couple must handle cleanup and setup
The Liriodendron Mansion was the second venue we toured back in 2024, and we instantly fell in love with it. Tucked away in a quiet Bel Air neighborhood, the mansion was once home to Dr. Howard Kelly — one of the founders of Johns Hopkins and the inventor of the Kelly clamp — before being sold to the county. The exterior is breathtaking, with two elegant porticos framing each side of the house. Behind the mansion, you’ll find a spacious patio that can comfortably seat 60–70 guests for dinner, surrounded by lush greenery and soft string lights overhead. The staff were wonderful throughout the entire process — from our initial walk-throughs to day-of coordination — and made everything feel seamless. If you’re looking for a venue with timeless charm, romantic ambiance, and a covered outdoor space perfect for dancing and cocktails, this is it. I highly recommend visiting — you’ll fall in love just like we did.
