About this venue

The Bel Air Armory is warm and inviting, ideal for celebrating your special day among friends and family. This castle-style building features detailed stonework and turrets, making it an ideal backdrop for any wedding portraits you wish to take. You can even use the Park area of the Armory to hold an intimate ceremony, exchanging your vows against this lovely stonework. Your cocktail reception and dining can take place in the main event hall. This hall features hardwood flooring and generous space that can be used to set up banquet dining for 200 guests with room for dancing. The stage area in the event hall can be used to host your sweethearts table, DJ, or wedding band. This space allows you to play with decor, reinventing it to fit your chosen aesthetic. Bel Air Armory offers the use of tables and chairs included with your rental. In order to fully customize your event, outside vendors are more than welcome.

The Bel Air Armory offers flexible options for newlyweds-to-be for nuptial celebrations, with both indoor and outdoor choices available. The Great Hall provides an elegant and spacious setting for wedding receptions, accommodating up to 250 people for a banquet-style event. With original hardwood floors and high ceilings, this room offers a classic backdrop for special occasions. Couples can also choose to host their outdoor ceremony in the park, before moving into the Great Hall for their reception. Dressing rooms are available on this property, allowing the wedding party to prepare in privacy for their big day. There is plentiful parking close to this venue.

Description

Our rental rate is on an hourly basis and is $160 per hour on the weekend. We have a six hour minimum rental; weddings typically encompass 8-10 hours, depending on your plans. Some will also rent the evening prior to have a rehearsal and decorate in advance, if available, 6 hour minimum.

    The Beauford Wedding

    We got married at Bel Air Armory and had a really positive experience overall. Julia was fantastic to work with throughout the planning process and kept us in the loop every step of the way. The venue itself is spacious with high ceilings, and the parking situation worked out perfectly for our guests. However, there was one frustrating limitation we wish we'd known about sooner—we weren't allowed to use cold sparklers or a fog machine, which seemed odd given how large the space is. That restriction felt like a red flag and definitely impacted the vision we had for our big moment. Despite that disappointment, the venue delivered on what it promised and we'd still recommend it to couples who don't need those specific effects.

Rental of the Bel Air Armory includes use of the 6000 square indoor space (seats 250), outdoor park (seats 100), one event staff member will be on site to answer any questions/direct vendors, use of tables/chairs/trashcans/trashbags included in the rental. All other vendors/linens/catering will need to be coordinated by the client.
