“So I was looking for a photographer to do my 35th birthday photoshoot. My birthday was in August and I was looking for someone from May. I couldn't find anyone that was in the price range I was looking for. I didn't know photoshoot was so expensive. Anyhow I decided I wasn't gonna do it again since I can't find a reasonable priced photographer. One of my co worker at the time was getting married and she was telling me about her phoyoshoot for her engagement and how the guy was reasonable and professional and so on. So I asked her for his contact and so on. I messaged him and he gave me his packages and they were the most reasonable since my search. I decided to take a chance with him after seeing the work he did for my co worker and trust me I didn't regret it. Julian was patient and passionate about his craft. My package was 25 pictures and Julian took over 200 pictures. I had fun. After the shoot he sent all the pictures for me to choose the ones I want edited which I couldn't choose just 25 because they were all so good. So I told him I can't choose that small amount . I asked him if I could choose more and he gave me a discount. He said sure. Then I choose about 30 then he said he won't charge me extra he will just give me as a birthday gift. My pictures were clean and eye dazzling. I love them all. Julian went above and beyond for all the small details I wanted to add to my pictures as well. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing photographer. And I would personally use him again. One of my best photoshoot yet.”

Examples you see online are the short highlight films, with documentary edits ranging between 20-60 minutes in length.

“Avec L'Amour captured our wedding in June of 2023. We went with Avec L'Amour because we really liked the style and felt the prices were extremely reasonable compared to some of the other videographers out there. We went with the package that included the highlight film and the feature-length film. The audio on the feature-length film is a little tough to hear because of all the background noise, but we were outdoors and in front of a lake, so it’s understandable. While planning for our wedding, we worked directly with John. He had great energy and seemed very prepared every time we interacted with him. However, we never met John in-person because the day before our wedding, he reached out saying he could no longer make it and would be sending a replacement instead. This was understandably very stressful, but fortunately the replacement he sent was awesome. We would have liked to know this update earlier if possible, however we know that’s not always possible, and this was our only complaint in working with him. When John sent us the footage of our wedding, we were so happy with it with the exception of one place where the audio didn’t match up, one place where suddenly the video went purple, and the fact that one of our best man’s speeches was completely left out of the highlight reel; we brought these concerns to John, and he fixed them with no hesitation in a timely manner. Though we can’t review John’s videography or wedding day presence directly, we did have a good experience with his company and would recommend it!”
