“Eric was awesome to work with from the start. He’s a true professional at his work and is extremely personable. He really understood the vision for our wedding and fulfilled it ten times over. We used Eric for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and for all three he exceeded our expectations. The music was phenomenal and the lighting looks amazing in pictures. He helped us host a great party, was receptive to all of our song requests and preferences, and checked in with us as needed before and throughout the wedding. He kept the energy up all night and knew exactly what to play when. He was also a great emcee, super likable and not the least bit cheesy or abrasive during any announcements during the reception. Everyone complimented how cool he was and what a great set he played. We cannot recommend him enough and can’t wait to party with him again!”

“Gemma, who owns Luv’d Up DJs, was our DJ for our thirty person wedding recently and is my new favorite person on the planet. She is so talented, and really knows exactly how to engage a dance floor or get everyone to pay attention to something important (LOL). She absolutely killed it on wedding day — every song was perfect, she was so adaptable, and so engaged in the day. We didn’t stress at all about music knowing she was there!! Our dance floor felt like a bigger wedding because she was locked in on keeping everyone dancing — I don’t have many pictures because everyone was busy dancing but they had our crowd of accountants MOVING. That’s no small feat!! It’s also important to note that she was just as awesome throughout the planning process! We are indecisive people who have attended very few weddings, and she helped us through every decision. I cannot say enough how much better she helped us feel!! We were on the fence about having a DJ for such a small wedding and she was perfect. She fit right in with our guests and curated the perfect vibe. All the sound for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception (three separate locations!!) went so smoothly. I would make Gemma my emergency contact if I could. “A DJ can make or break a wedding. Adam did an amazing job from beginning to end for our daughter's wedding. He was thorough in his information gathering. He followed up with us consistently bout the songs, the timeline, the last-minute adds, etc. Just fabulous. The night of the wedding, he was professional, helpful, on task, on time, and best of all he kept the dance floor alive all night. He honored all of our requests and above & beyond in some cases. My daughter and her new husband was cutting the cake with my husband's Marine Corps Sword. We neglected to get his the correct music for a Marine Corps Cake Cutting. He found the Marine Corps him but for the cake cutting, the song is a softer and slower version. My husband explained this to him and he said he would search for it (during the cocktail hour). Lo and behold, he found the right one and it went off perfectly. Huge shout out to Adam to ending a perfect day with a perfect night.”

Do you want the wedding playlist to be a reflection of you and your spouse's music choices? Then you want to book Summit Events ASAP. Our wedding DJ was Sean Markland and he was just phenomenal to work with. Prior to our wedding we had a lengthy call with Sean; my husband and I were very picky with our wedding playlist and had a rule of absolutely no traditional wedding reception songs or line-dances. We love electronic dance music (EDM) and wanted our wedding to be "festival/show vibes". We pretty much curated our own playlist of EDM, country, hip-hop, folk and I really wasn't sure how our guests would respond (and we really didn't care because it was our wedding), but the way Sean mixed and transitioned the songs and hyped up the dance floor kept the vibes going all night! We used Summit Events for our up lighting too - highly recommend as it was a great way to turn the room from a classy dinner reception to a dance party in one click! The sound quality was great for both speeches and music; we wanted to make sure guests could hear speeches clearly and we had no issues at all even though it was a large room. I also appreciated the Vibo app that we used to plan out our ceremony, entrances, first dances and our playlist for the night - it was a great tool that kept songs and notes in one place. We would definitely use Sean and Summit Events again and highly recommend them for the best night of your life!”

“Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food.
