We booked this hotel due to it being close to a meeting we had that afternoon. We asked for an early check in to iron clothing and they most definitely obliged! Jacoby at the front desk was so incredibly helpful and accommodating, he even helped me print important documents out while also assisting new guests checking in. He was so informative and friendly, 50 stars to him! Your valet team, WOW, some of the most outstanding gentlemen we have ever met! They were so eager to help us and accommodate our needs, didn't take more than 3 minutes to retrieve our car when we needed it! Jordan and Ricky and the rest of the team were so sweet and helpful! The staff here would be the reason we returned being Hilton Honors Members for 24 years now! Lucia and the chef upstairs made incredible wings and served us prosecco and a Stella while we waited for our food. We enjoyed her energy and attentiveness, as well as the chef being so friendly! Great place to stay! Mind you that valet is the only way to park in the garage below and it is 67ish dollars for 8 hours or more but we'll worth it! Highly recommend!

It’s part oasis, part retreat, and all about fostering human connection over good food and good beer. We combine craft brewing, farm-to-table culinary, wellness and philanthropy into a unique hospitality experience that's unlike anything else in Austin. Stop in, say howdy and enjoy a breezy afternoon under the canopy of live oaks. There's something for everyone here, and we've never met a stranger.

My wife and I had our wedding party at Fast Friends in November and it was amazing! David and Brandy were so easy to work with and flexible with pretty much anything we were wanting to do. Their downstairs has a unique aesthetic with a beautiful bar and cool speakeasy room. They have a music system to set the tone which they set to our preferred genre/favorite band. The inside is a huge space which opens up through a garage door to a patio with a garden and streamed lights. It’s truly a gem and we’re so lucky we got to have our party here. We had around 80 guests and there was room for many more! They even hooked us up with discounted merch for give aways. Highly recommend!!!

Star Hill is a re-creation of a Texas Hill Country community typical of the early 1900s. All of the buildings have been relocated from around the state and carefully restored. Star Hill is centered around the historic Pontotoc Chapel, which has hosted thousands of public worship services and weddings since we opened in the beautiful Hill Country in 2004.

  • Provides lighting and sound
  • Wheelchair accessible

Venue considerations

Not only did my wife & I get married here (twice, thanks to the covid shutdown!) & have our son baptized in Star Hill's Chapel, but I've also worked with the Star Hill family as a wedding cake vendor for over a decade. I can say without hesitation that it's my favorite venue to work with & a consistently stunning backdrop for your most special celebrations. Matt, Adam, & Renee are so easy to work with & adopt every couple into their family. They're loving & genuinely care for their clients, which is rare in such a booming industry. On top of their good character, the pricing is fair, the property offers a wide array of charming indoor & outdoor options, & they make it easy to either hand-pick each of your vendors or receive vetted recommendations from their list of preferred vendors. Our wedding guests still talk about this amazing venue 3 years later!

I don't usually take the time to do many reviews. But, it brings me joy to do a review for Elope in Austin. We had a very short time to plan a wedding and I looked everywhere for a venue that would fit our needs. After many weeks of searching for a venue, out of nowhere, I stumbled upon Elopes website and I was thrilled. To be honest, everything looked too good to be true. I decided to reach out to them and I'm glad I did. From the initial communication to the wedding day, everything was great. The Elope team did an amazing job getting everything together for us. We decided to go with The Classic package and it was perfect. When they tell you they take care of everything so you don't have to worry about it, they really do mean that. All you have to do is pick the simple things like colors and music, etc. You know exactly what to expect from them and they answer any questions you may have in a timely manner.  Planning a wedding can be really stressful, if you want to avoid all the headaches of trying to make all the arrangements yourself, I highly recommend you contact Elope In Austin, you will not be disappointed. Lorelei and the rest of the team are true professionals and my wife and I are extremely happy with how everything turned out. I hope this review helps anyone that is looking for a stress free wedding.
