Offering 15 acres of conserved historic ranch land that includes a 4,000 square foot Garden House draping with Antique Roses, an Oak Grove flourishing with Live Oak trees, two climate controlled preparation spaces, and climate controlled restrooms. Multiple outdoor ceremony options, rain plan, and flexible spaces for large count, small weddings, and elopements are provided to create a wedding that suits your style. Yes. When the contract is signed, 50% of the rental fee is due and reserves your date. This fee is non-refundable after 24 hours. The final installment will be required 90 days prior to the event. Full payment is due by the specified due date. We also reserve the right to request a credit card on file for any damages to the facility or grounds.
We kindly ask that you schedule a tour ahead of time.
We require a $1,000,000 day-of-event insurance policy with Felton Ranch listed as the additional insured to be returned with your contract. The approximate cost is $175.
We require you to provide security for your event and can be purchased through Hays County Sheriff’s Department
No. Many venues have minimums because they make a 10 - 15% commission from the caterer based on how much you spend on food and drinks. Our relationships with vendors are paramount so we choose NOT to make a commission.
You’re welcome to choose your own caterers and bar service. However, they must be licensed and TABC certified as outlined in our rental contract.

We suggest starting Friday weddings at 5:00 pm, Saturday weddings between 4:00 - 5:00 pm, and Sunday weddings at 4:00 pm. This is all dependent of sunset and time of year.
Because of unforeseen burn bans, fireworks and sparklers are not permitted.
Music on Friday's/Saturday's must end promptly by 10:30 p.m. to ensure that you, all of your items, and all of your vendors are off-property by midnight. Music on Sunday's must end by 9:30 p.m. to be off property by 11:00 pm.
