I'm Megan, a fine art wedding photographer serving New England & the Pacific Northwest. I've been photographing weddings since 2015, and I still tear up during just about every wedding ceremony. When I'm not behind the camera, I'm running after my one year old daughter, renovating our 1932 colonial home, and adding to my continually growing collection of cookbooks.

Megan is one of the kindest, nicest, most wonderful humans, on top of being a truly fantastic photographer. From the first call to discuss her style and how the process would go, we could tell she was different. She was so easy to work with! She made everything feel so natural and put both me and my now-husband at ease. She was considerate and creative both during our engagement shoot and our actual wedding day, offering suggestions and taking advantage of the beautiful scenery, golden hour, and spontaneous moments to truly capture our day. She treated us and our party with tenderness and grace, and brought an incredible calm to a very busy day. Her photos are also absolutely gorgeous! Looking at them, I honestly can’t believe they’re real! She elevated what she saw and captured our day, distilling the emotions and experience, and produced photos that are a perfect encapsulation of our day: full of pure joy, love, and light. I am so glad we worked with Megan - we will treasure the moments she captured forever. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I shot my first wedding in 2004, and from that moment on, I was hooked! It's an honor to witness and capture such an important moment in the lives of my couples. Before specializing in weddings, I focused on fine art and night photography. I earned a BFA degree in studio art from the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!), and a MFA degree in imaging arts/photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. I taught black and white, digital, alternative process and studio photography at the high school, university and adult education levels. I love both the planned events and the unintentional, quiet moments that make a wedding unique!

Kristin was absolutely amazing to work with. We found her through our venue, Red Lion Inn, and let me just say- she didn’t disappoint. She worked with us during our engagement pictures to capture our dogs in all their craziness. When it came to the wedding planning, she went above and beyond to add on a videographer at the last minute to record the ceremony when we found out my grandmother wouldn’t be able to attend. Her turnaround for video and photos was unbelievably fast- we got the videos three days after the wedding and our full gallery within two weeks. The photos captured the day perfectly, and we will cherish them forever. Thank you for everything Kristin!

Nelly Saraiva - Wedding & Boudoir Photographer

Acushnet, MA

It's important to me that each of my clients want to share my vision for the art I will be creating for them. I'm a wedding & lifestyle photographer who loves fashion, music, coffee, and dancing. I'm astrong determined women trying to make a living at her passion and conquer a few dreams here and there.

Okay let's start with the obvious, I'm biased. It's true, I'm her husband and for my own personal benefit, I wouldn't tell you to choose someone else. But that's actually not why I think Nelly is a great option for you. Since 2009, I've watched Nelly grow as a photographer, business owner, and creative. From the countless hours of training under some of the best photographers in the world (not exaggerating) to the hundreds of weddings and boudoir sessions she has photographed, I've been there to witness the often jaw-dropping work she creates. But you know what stands out almost more than the images, it's the feedback from clients. The comments about how she held their hand on the wedding day and basically became their right-hand woman. The literal tears of joy when they see the images. The stories of empowered women felt being photographed by Nelly during a boudoir session. Those things are what I believe sets her apart and why you shouldn't think twice when researching who your best option is. So in summary, you have lots of options. You should absolutely do your research. BUT you shouldn't make a final decision without at least considering Nelly for your wedding or boudoir photography. Okay, that's all I have.... Nelly, did I do well? :)

Self-taught and fueled by the fun of weddings I know I am doing exactly what I was meant to do. I feel most alive when I'm capturing a wedding. From orchestrating the flow of the day and getting through formals to getting out there on the dance floor for all the candids, there's a magic at weddings and it is amazing. Being able to capture that for you so you have it to cherish for the rest of your life is really my passion.

It's an incredible privilege and honor to be trusted with your memories. It's something I do not take lightly. To go from strangers to friends and spend the day photographing moments big and small is so beautiful. My biggest hope is for you to look through your photos years from now and be able to relive the day from start to finish. To feel the love on your partners face at your first look and to relive your grandfather's funky dance moves at the reception. Let me help tell your timeless story.

Hello there! I'm Andrea, owner of Amative Creative, and every weekend we're so blessed to be able to tell the love stories of so many amazing couples. Like many others in this industry might say, we simply adore weddings. But what makes us a little different is our entire brand is centered around telling love stories specifically curated to reflect your vision and aesthetic. "Amative" means to be prone to love, so as you can see, we want nothing more than to tell your love story! But what makes us truly unique is that we understand every love story looks different. And we personalize every aspect of how we document your wedding day!

It gives me no pleasure giving Andrea a less than perfect review, because her pictures are indeed gorgeous and she is a very talented editor and artist, and I do love my photos. With that, there were some things during the process I wish were more transparent and I thought others should be informed. She does not honor her contract at all/it needs to be updated. My signed contract stated I’d receive min 3 previews within 3 days of my wedding. I waited a full week until contacting her; she stated that the contract was “old” and didn’t account for editing…again so update it. OR at the very least admit and let me know you will not be meeting the terms of the agreement and tell me when I can expect them (she didn’t). I had no reason to believe I wouldn’t get previews for over 2 weeks and it was incredibly disappointing/frustrating. Additionally, the photos she chose to include were not what I’d hoped, I had several pictures of my dj but zero of my family…like why? Additionally, 3 days before my wedding she texted me asking if it was okay for her to send someone else to do my wedding. Now, I am understanding of illness and family issues but if you really needed to sub my wedding, call me and and explain. But to put the decision on a CLIENT and ask if they are okay with you not coming as expected put me in a tough position, not to mention a stress I didn’t need before my wedding. The contract also stated I’d get the full gallery by the one month mark, and after I didn’t get the previews until almost then, I knew that timeline was laughable. I was provided no communication as to when I might expect them just that she was “unusually” busy (clearly overbooked, admitting 5 weddings a weekend, etc) Or, you can stalk her IG stories for her queue but that just shows you where you are in line, not when you can expect anything. Eventually I received my photos 16weeks after my wedding. While they were absolutely stunning, I was still a little upset about little details ignored (leaving scratches when I specifically asked to have them concealed out) or photos that were only provided in black and white, when I wanted color or the option for both. I’ll wrap up by saying yes her photos are amazing but go in aware deadlines won’t be met or communicated and you’re not guaranteed to actually have Andrea herself (I’m sure her whole team is amazing, shout out to Jo!) it’s clear anyone on her team is interchangeable. If you’re not bothered by any of that she’s amazing!

I have been a photographer for 8 years. Throughout my time as a photographer I’ve captured clothing, models, and memories. I shifted from corporate shootings to families and weddings because it gave me this warm fuzzy feeling when I edited my couples and families photos. Don’t be afraid to reach out to me and ask about my photography style, my editing style, or my favorite restaurant! I highly recommend scheduling a free consulting session!

Booking Grace and Oury Memories just three and a half weeks before our wedding was a stroke of luck! From our first meeting to the wedding day, Grace's professionalism and warmth shone through. She effortlessly directed us and our families during wedding sessions, ensuring every shot was perfect. I'm sure that Grace's creative ideas for poses will add a unique touch to our album, capturing the essence of our love story beautifully. We look forward to seeing her photos in about 8 weeks. Her calm presence on the day put us at ease. Grace is not just a talented photographer; she's a joy to work with. Thank you, Grace, for immortalizing our special day so beautifully!

Lindsay is incredible! After our first meeting with her, my husband and I knew we were in good hands. Not only were we impressed with her the quality of her work, we were also excited by how kind, fun, and down to earth she is! Booking her was one of the easiest wedding decisions we made; she was so easy to work with for both our engagement and wedding photos. Lindsay was very flexible when we decided to add more time/upgrade our wedding package too. We had a preview and the most amazing wedding highlight video the very night of our wedding! To top it all off, Lindsay even took some extra photos of us with our dog!

Five stars simply aren't enough for this duo, they deserve 10, 20, 100...all the stars for the rockstars they are. From our first conversation with Jamal and Lashana, we could sense they were going to bring their love of love with them to our special day and be the ideal team to share in our celebration and capture our family and friends in all of their fun and joyful glory. There is a picture in our gallery of my 84 year old grandmother lighting up with the most genuine smile, and the person she is beaming at is Lashana!! Jamal and Lashana were an integral part of the smoothness we were blessed with on our wedding day - they were a part of the party and they were immersed in the joie de vivre we were all feeling that weekend, and as such they were able to catch countless moments of sheer magic. They're incredibly organized and thorough and thoughtful, and they're exceptional photographers and consummate professionals. They bring such a natural warmth with them and they're so fun and personable. So you get the best package in their service start to finish. I keep saying they're rockstars, but really they kind of seem like super heroes too -- we had a huge bridal party and tons of guests sprawled out around the resort and they somehow divided and conquered and were able to fit in setting up the gorgeous circle arch we rented from them for our alter in addition to being there in the rooms with us to snap shot after shot of us getting ready, greeting guests and ringing in the New Year. The shots they got of the two of us under the twinkle lights and in front of the Newport Bridge and the lighthouse on goat island are breathtaking -- beautifully composed, intimate and sweet. Stunning, truly. And they nailed the nighttime shots of of my Gatsby-esque decked out bridesmaids in a way that literally brought my vision board to life. We love Jamal and Lashana, and we are so grateful we got to work with them. Book them early cause their calendars are only going to fill up faster and faster with each new wedding season. And know that you're making an excellent choice.
