We are Ryan + Jillian, a husband and wife photography team. We fell into wedding photography after our own wedding when Ryan's best man/cousin Sean passed away. Receiving our wedding photos while helping plan the funeral was the greatest gift we could have ever gotten. At that moment, fully understanding just how fleeting life truly is, that started our love affair with wedding photography. We love how wedding photography does not have to be corny or grossly over staged. It can be candid, genuine, and provide amazing couples with images that they will cherish for a lifetime.

I thrive off of constructing photographs that demonstrate love, connection, identity, and emotion. My art work holds strong stories behind them that can be told to generations to come! My earliest memories are always centered around picking flowers in my mothers gardens. I would grab one of the glass bottles she collected and play around with any flowers I could find. I grew up running around after my mom in her gardens and spent most of high school in the art department. I went off to design school and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Soon after, I started my first “real” design job and have been working in the industry in either commercial or residential design ever since, giving me thirty-five years of design experience. A second related career in Floral Design was added to my skill set when I was employed as a part-time floral designer and trained at Longwood Gardens. I decorated twenty-one Christmas trees that year and did a lot of beautiful custom designs.
