The Hopewell Barn is located about 1/2 mile south of the historic Hopewell Church. Built in 1872 and purchased by Deb in 2018, the church is listed on National Historic Register for its ties to Gene Stratton Porter. Gene was a famous author in the early 1900’s and the area of ‘Hopewell’ was used as the locale for the settings for several of her books. The name ‘Rustic Barn at Hopewell’ was selected to pay tribute to historic roots of the Hopewell area.

Our venue offers a modern feel, with a touch of rustic details and a whole lot of charm. Our event center is very spacious and features an open floor plan with a lot of natural light. We also have a fireplace perfect for those comfy winter weddings. Our venue also offers a full bar, and accommodation for the bridal party and groomsmen to get ready for the big day. Once the home of Camp Isanogel, a summer camp for those with special needs, The Loft is a source of history and pride for the owners, Harry and Karen Holding. The Blossom Barn is a historical farm built in 1832 by the Steckel family. It was once a state of the art dairy farm. They sold Steckel Dairy products. The dairy barn was one of many barns and outbuildings here on the 100+ acres. The original dairy barn burned down and this one we restored was built in the early 1900's. We were able to restore all of these buildings on the property, the dairy barn, the white livestock barn, milk-house, chicken coop and the two silos attached to the dairy barn. Our venue is truly one of a kind, unlike any other venue around!
