Nestled along the beautiful shores of Geist Reservoir, the Indianapolis Yacht Club offers one of Central Indiana's most unique waterfront wedding venues with an elegant, timeless lake estate aesthetic. Specializing in intimate celebrations, we comfortably accommodate everything from small gatherings to wedding receptions of up to 125 guests. Indianapolis Yacht Club provides Indiana couples with a central venue in McCordsville.

The 13,000-square-ft. clubhouse provides stunning views of the waterfront. Our space has soaring vaulted ceilings with traditional wood accents. A location for waterfront lovers and nautical weddings alike, this wedding event venue sits along the shores of the lake. Opt to host your event on the lawn and/or in the Main Hall; either way your guests will overlook the waters of Geist Reservoir. Say "I do" along the water and celebrate in the club’s historic clubhouse for an unforgettable event.

Gorgeous outdoor space with views of Geist Reservoir that most Indy residents would dream to wake up to.

Keeping the summer atmosphere alive for as long as the Indiana weather allows, this spacious balcony has gorgeous views of the reservoir and Geist Marina atop a private hill attached to our facility. Direct access to indoor bathrooms are included and bar services as well as other accommodations can be added into this rental and we welcome any decorations that are desired for the event.

Our lower-level Clubhouse is the center of member activity here at the yacht club. This is our most commonly used space in the venue, equipped with a full-service bar (should you choose to use a bar package), two arcade game machines, a pool table, two mounted TVs, a fireplace, board game collection, and more! If you're looking for a fun space with a gorgeous view for guests to mingle and stay entertained, this is the room for you.
