I present fun, elegant, and exciting Wedding Photography for my clients. My style is photojournalistic; I feel it's the most effective way to tell a story. These recollections are your forever keepsakes, a chapter of your life's story. Every image accounts for those who were by your side, delighted for you, and the next step in your journey. Big fan of dive bars, staring at the stars, forever searching for the best french fries, a blissfully cold Diet Coke, and a true midwestern why fly it's only 15 hours. You'll find me often traveling, spending time in nature, collecting rocks and shopping for vintage t-shirts. I love carefree messy in between moments, photographing my daily life on polaroids and film. I've lived a lot of places (Arizona, Arkansas, and Puerto Rico to name a few!) and have so many places that I treasure and feel at home.

When I was in the throes of wedding planning over a year ago, I was reaching out to vendors and putting payments down for June 2, 2024, and was crossing my fingers my deployed fiancé would even be able to attend, thanks to his unpredictable schedule. Amidst the stress (and borderline panic attacks!!) I was having because of that, I was also receiving a lieu of impersonal emails with quotes from photographers. When I got the email back from Jessica, she was the only one who answered with excitement and personality, and gave me a sense that this was supposed to be FUN. All this wedding planning was a very lucky sort of stress, and she didn’t make me feel like I was just some box to check off in her inbox— she was personable and friendly, and I liked her immediately. For the course of the year, Jessica and I kept up with eachother with texts, messages, and Instagram— and I felt like she was already a friend when June arrived. Even after her 12 hour journey to Virginia, she was full of energy and ready to go. She helped adjust some coordination timelines and caught things that I otherwise wouldn’t have. She hung out with my rambunctious family all weekend, witnessing our love and laughter, WIDE range of personalities, and even some sisterly tiffs. Honestly, she whole-heartedly became part of our crew. She ran everything past me when it came to details. Duke and I are not people who are comfortable in front of a camera, and I LOVED having her specifically tell us what to do to look good, while still feeling incredibly relaxed and natural around her. Duke and I kept saying she had Jedi powers the way she was able to flip cameras, batteries and equipment seamlessly. I’m writing this while in the airport leaving our honeymoon, and not only did Duke and I, and our families fall in love with Jessica— I still have guests reaching out to me via text to tell me how they hit it off with her on their own, how impressed they were with her ethic, or how they loved pictures from our sneak peek (eeeek!) I am not a girl who naturally feels pretty or comfortable in front of a camera. Jessica gave me the gift of finally experiencing both of those things on our special day. I felt beautiful and at ease. She captured the bridal portraits that I hope my great grandkids will put in their family tree projects for school one day, some of Dukes family and mine meeting for the first time, friends dancing, and our grandparents mingling and giving us their love. Duke and I knew our big white wedding would be our one chance to have everyone we love in one place. We are well aware of the rarity in that, and the fact that we don’t have much longer with some of those people we love. We’re well aware that these are the photos Duke and I will be looking at with our grandchildren when we’re old and grey, thinking about “the good ol’ days.” These photos are all we will have left one day of the people we love so fiercely, and these versions of ourselves. We will endlessly be grateful for Jessica of her effort and the labor that went into photographing a weekend like ours. She captured every single aspect of us and those we love, and above all us, gave us the gift of memory. 3 Faith and Duke

I photograph with the understanding that one day, these images will become part of a family’s most treasured history. Long after the day has passed, they will hold the light, the emotion, and the quiet beauty that words cannot. My approach is rooted in presence—observing with care, honoring what unfolds naturally, and preserving the fleeting moments that often matter most. I believe photographs should do more than document how things looked; they should return you to how it felt to be there, surrounded by love, meaning, and connection.

Awarded Best of Zola
From the moment we booked Mykenzie Alexis Photography, we knew we were in good hands. Mykenzie's communication was efficient, effective, and upbeat - she was always quick to respond to our questions and made us feel at ease throughout the entire planning process. Mae Krell Photo
Rating: 5.0 (14 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $10,000
  • Serves Amagon, AR

Hi! My name is Mae, and I live in Brooklyn with my girlfriend, our two dogs Apollo and Bia, her cat Gigi and my lizard, Basil! I’ve always been passionate about capturing moments as authentically and magically as possible, and as i’ve settled more into this career path, I love that i’ve landed in a place where I have the privilege to capture and preserve people’s love stories. Weddings and elopements are so distinctly and uniquely human, and it’s truly the biggest honor to be trusted to document them.

Awarded Best of Zola
I came across Mae’s work when looking for a photographer for engagement photos in Central Park, and I was immediately impressed with Mae and knew we were going to be incredibly happy with the results. Mae responded immediately to all my questions, day or night, and took the time to video chat with me at length twice before the shoot to discuss what we were looking for in our photos. Before the shoot, I had sent her a few examples of what I liked, and not only did the photos come out exactly how I wanted them, but were even more perfect than I envisioned. The engagement shoot itself was so much fun, and Mae made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process, despite us thinking we’d both feel awkward getting posed photos of us taken. Mae truly had a vision for what poses, locations, and lighting would work, and the execution was perfect. Some of the feedback we got from our friends was that the photos looked like a magazine, and that they were “ethereal.” Even better, Mae somehow got us the edited photos back within 24 hours of the shoot. Her pricing is also incredibly reasonable given the quality of her work, meticulousness, and experience in photography, as well as the very quick turnaround time. My fiance and I truly cannot recommend her enough, and we are excited to work with her again in the future. She is truly an artist, and any couple would be incredibly lucky to work with her!

Angelina Carrasquillo Captured
Rating: 5.0 (8 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,200
  • Serves Amagon, AR

Hey there! My name is Angelina and I started practicing photography in August 2020, but I've had an interest in it since I was 13 years old (I really wanted to shoot for National Geographic). Now I've expanded into portraits, engagement sessions, and I've done small weddings. I'm a Chicago native but I've also lived in Iowa, Arizona, Nebraska, Texas, & now Mississippi!! What can I say, I enjoyed a somewhat nomadic lifestyle. I also just got married on August 31st, so I know how it feels to be both a service provider and a customer! My style of photography is more candid with a documentary style approach, but I do love a good editorial moment!

Awarded Best of Zola
Choosing Angelina as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our big day! From start to finish, she was nothing short of amazing. Her calm and friendly demeanor made us feel completely at ease, even in the most nerve-wracking moments. She has a true gift for making you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and it shows in every single photo. What really stood out about Angelina was her incredible ability to capture the essence of our wedding. Every shot felt authentic, natural, and beautifully composed. She didn’t just document the day; she told the story of our love, our family, and all the joy that filled the air. Whether it was a quiet, emotional moment or a fun, candid shot, Angelina was right there, capturing it perfectly without us even realizing. Her attention to detail is second to none, and she has a way of making even the simplest moments feel magical. We were blown away when we received our photos — each one more beautiful than the last. Angelina has an incredible talent, and we are so grateful to have worked with her. If you're looking for someone who will capture your wedding day with elegance, creativity, and heart, we wholeheartedly recommend Angelina!

My business began in 2017 and has been going strong ever since. I have always loved photography but now have a passion for it since losing my mom to brain cancer several years ago. That is what I want to do for you!! Capture snapshots of your life and love, preserving your memories for a lifetime.

The quality of their work and overall value is unmatched - Leslie has a way of making me feel like a model, and she would even send us photos at 2 AM just to make sure we could get our pictures back quickly. Leslie really went above and beyond to contribute to our special day. When I was feeling nervous before the ceremony, she called me aside and asked me to describe my wife in a few words, which ended up capturing such an emotional moment that I started tearing up. She also made the photo sessions fun and engaging, even getting our rambunctious toddler to smile the whole time. Leslie Grace Photography will undoubtedly be the only person we use for any future photoshoots - she makes us feel so comfortable and special, and has truly transformed what I used to dread into a party when my wife tells me it's time for photos!

EDITORIAL MEETS DOCUMENTARY If you're looking for a photographer who captures the little moments and preserves your day in the way it happened, while bringing in the feel of curated images and an elevated experience, you're in the right place. Images will be created by curating artistic images with posing & prompts, while eliminating the feeling of your day being a production and capturing the real things as they happen. True-to-life and true-to-color is the vibe here to give you photos you'll want to share and hang on your walls until the end of time. If you're looking for magical, intentional photos that just scream you, let's connect.

You can see from Hannah's work on her page that she is an AMAZING photographer. Her work speaks for me. She captured our day perfectly, she didn't miss a shot and captured moments that I otherwise would not have remembered. Her style is unique and really captures the ethereal beauty of a wedding day. What you cannot see from her work is how she manages a wedding day. This woman will be everything you need by your side at your wedding. My veil kept falling off, she pulled the bobby pins from her own hair to keep my veil in place. She knew the timeline of the day and helped us to stay on it. She gracefully kept bridal party stresses off my plate all day. Hannah was 100% present and 100% on top of the day. If you are debating if you want to hire Hannah, just know you are getting not only an incredible photographer but also a person who is willing to be whatever you need to have a stress-free day.

  • Serves Amagon, AR

These aren't just photos. These are stories. They're your story. My approach is natural. I don't force moments, but I do know when to help direct. I want you to feel comfortable enough to come as you are, and let me capture the true essence of "you", because that is what matters the most. I am a natural light wedding photographer, which means I use solely the natural light outside or inside a building. I know what types of light situations are best, and I know how to combat the ones that are out of our control. I think natural light brings out the creamy tones to skin, makes your eyes sparkle, and makes for an organic photo.

Hi, friends! My name is Sara and I am obsessed with the great outdoors and telling your story through my lens. I connect with adventurous, laidback couples. And no, you don't have to be an athlete or avid hiker to take photos in beautiful places. I can show you Arkansas best kept secrets and we will create some golden hour magic together.

Would highly recommend Sara as a wedding or special event photographer. Not only are her photos beautiful and is she very professional with everything from process of booking, regular check-ins, communication style etc- but she’s incredibly kind and very much takes the time to find out what you want. Our engagement photos and the sneak peaks she’s already sent (within a couple days) of our wedding are beautiful. Just as important (to us) though, we also just felt like during the wedding we had a friend there with her. We received many compliments of us from guests, bridal party and family that talked about how sweet she was. You won’t regret it booking with Sara.

Ashley Benham Photography is all about bold photos for bold love! I'm Ashley and I'm the owner of ABP! A few things about me: I was born and raised here in Memphis, and no matter how much I complain about the heat and mosquitos, the 901 will always be home. My two cats Lana and Lennon are my world, even when they refuse to listen to me (because let’s be real, CATS.) Music is a HUGE part of my life. I’d be lost without it, and love going to shows and supporting local musicians.

Ashley is ABSOLUTELY incredible!! We got married in Florida, but I have been watching her work for years so I knew, if we were going to hire a professional, she was the one!! She traveled for our ceremony and was so fun to be around on our day!! I also loved that it didn’t feel forced or too posed. It was just us!

I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my two dogs and three cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I'm 9 years old 🥳!

I could write a book about Leah; or at least a very detailed blog post but I'll try to keep it shorter! As a fellow professional photographer, I got the opportunity to meet Leah and work with her as her 2nd photographer on a wedding. It took that one amazing experience and absolute blast of a time to know that whenever it was I got married she was THE photographer for me. Fast forward some years later it was finally my turn to tie the knot and my now husband and I chose our date based on when Leah was available, because there was no other option for me! I have gotten to work with dozens of photographers throughout my going on 10 year career, and I'm telling y'all, it doesn't get better than Leah. The photos - amazing! I love her eye for details, the crispness, the colors! Not to mention she is such a beautiful soul with the best personality and energy, with the professionalism to get a gallery worth of beautiful photos with you barely realizing she's there. While going through our gallery, I was stunned and overjoyed so many times to see things I had NO idea happened or even photos of people that I unfortunately didn't get to spend much time with yet seeing that they still enjoyed themselves. In my opinion, a photographer is the most important vendor you can choose for your wedding day. I am so thankful my experience in the wedding industry allowed me to cross paths with Leah because that made a really important decision very easy for me. And I hope my review can help other soonlyweds out there make a hard decision easier. You will not go wrong choosing Leah to photograph your big day!

Working with Mind Of Mo Weddings & Events for our wedding was a fantastic experience. They were incredibly responsive to our needs and questions throughout the planning process. The quality of their work was excellent, especially given the great price they charged. They made our wedding day fun and comfortable, even when they were holding a camera right in our faces. We actually added videography just 2 days before the wedding, and they were able to accommodate that last-minute request seamlessly. I would highly recommend Mind Of Mo Weddings & Events to any couple looking for a talented and professional photography team for their special day.
