“I originally chose Holly for my photographer because we had a very specific theme for our wedding (Destiny the video game). It must have also been Destiny that she played the game and was familiar with the theme. Also, she was amazingly flexible and willing to work with our budget. Her correspondence with me was always quick and prompt. Even when it came to getting my professional pictures and sneak peaks all back, I was told it would be up to 2 months for return, but she had them back in only a week or two's time. Unfortunately, (as these things sometimes happen) Holly was not able to actually come do our photos due to getting extremely sick (which no one can help), so we had to have a stand in photographer named Justin. I know we (including herself) were all bummed she could not be there considering we were all excited and familiar with the theme. Despite not having Holly, Justin was still very nice to work with and did an amazing job. I did notice that the best pictures (of course) were the ones he had time to actually position and pose us for. I think my biggest regret was I wish I had had more time and funds to pay for more time for him to pose us and take these more less candid photos. I was sad to find that we missed out on getting individual photos of my daughters and all four of them on their own. Also there were no photos of my husband with his second oldest daughter which really upset her... But again, I don't blame the photographer for this. It really was chalked up to a lack of time. Also, one of my daughters changed into more comfortable clothes during dinner so that took away from us being able to get the nice pictures I had wanted. So I can't emphasize enough that I don't blame the photographers for this at all... It was just one of my biggest regrets on my part of the night. I again, wish I had built more time and been able to contribute more money to more pictures that could be done in this manner. I definitely recommend this team. They are so nice and do their best to check off all of the boxes that you want. They work with you and are quick and efficient with what they do.”

“Wow… I don’t even know where to start, but the stars literally aligned with Dani (and Jed) from Elle & Co Photography. I found Dani while scrolling bridal Facebook groups, which can be… a lot. Trying not to assume the worst from all the horror stories. I came across her and immediately knew she was it. I sent the message and crossed my fingers. Her photos were exactly the vibe we were going for. We chose to elope near Sleeping Bear Dunes for a reason… the color of the water, the fall tones, all of it. And Mother Nature gave us the most imperfectly perfect day. Wind, sand, rain… you name it. THANKFULLY we had Dani to capture it all. The amount of time, energy, and care she put into our day (and our reception back in Indy... we booked her for both) was beyond anything we expected. Her communication was top notch. She scouted, scouted, and then scouted again. Plans, backup plans, backup backup plans… which we absolutely needed. Most importantly she kept us on. time! We literally showed up to our ceremony spot and got hit with a “nope, not today” thanks to a government shutdown… even though we had permits and confirmations. But Dani already had her little hidden gem location ready to go, and it ended up being incredible. Like… better than what we had originally planned. And let’s talk about the conditions… late October on Lake Michigan, 25 mph winds, sand flying everywhere, and easily 10,000 steps trekking through dunes to chase the best views. Dani was everywhere at once making sure we got every shot. And Jed… running through sand like he trained for this moment. The two of them together are the dream team. Whatever it takes, they make it happen. They didn’t miss a single moment. From travel time to the ceremony, to the little in-between shots… even getting the perfect fall leaves shot with the Sleeping Bear Dunes sign (yes, it took a plenty of tries and yes, it was worth it). Champagne, lanterns, sparklers back at the domes… they captured all of it. And gave us just enough direction so we looked our best without ever feeling staged. And even after all of that, Dani went back and edited like crazy to balance out the fact that while we "looked fine"… we were most definitely freezing. The final photos are unreal. Our day was made by friends, family, and chosen family… and we’re so happy to add Dani and Jed to that circle. #PhotosToFriends for life!”

“We could not have asked for a better wedding photographer than Joel and Kristin! From the very beginning, their energy was incredible and made us feel so comfortable and excited throughout the entire day. They did an amazing job making sure to capture all of the poses and photos we specifically wanted, while also getting so many beautiful moments and shots that we never would have thought to ask for. Joel also worked seamlessly with our other vendors, which helped the entire wedding day flow so smoothly and kept everything on schedule. He was professional, organized, flexible, and genuinely such a fun person to have around on such an important day. And the photos… absolutely gorgeous! We are so thankful to have these memories captured so beautifully and will treasure them forever. We also really appreciated their willingness to travel out of state to CA to photograph our wedding. It meant so much to us to have someone we trusted there to capture our day. If you’re looking for a photographer who is talented, energetic, easy to work with, and truly cares about giving you the best experience and photos possible, we cannot recommend Joel enough! 5/5 stars, without a doubt!”

“If I could give Joni more than 5 stars, I would! My husband and I have never had professional photos taken before, but Joni has a special way of making people feel comfortable in front of the camera. From the very first phone call, it was clear Joni wanted to get to know us both, individually and as a couple, in order to truly understand what we were looking for and what style of photos we wanted. She was more than happy to capture our request of both romantic (me) and silly (Sean) photos. We used Joni for our engagement pictures, ceremony pictures (12/1), and reception pictures (12/6). Joni has a very friendly and outgoing personality. I think this really helps with her ability to get genuine smiles out of people. She can even make the family members who NEVER smile in photos (we all have one) crack a REAL smile! Joni is down for anything and will go the extra mile for the people she works with. She showed up with a smile to our OUTDOOR December ceremony. Our biggest request was that we wanted a slideshow of our ceremony pictures to show at our reception. We had a very small ceremony and wanted to share this moment with all the people who came to our reception. Joni went above and beyond to make this happen for us - with a 5 day turn around! We received compliments all night long about how beautiful our photos are and how talented Joni is. I can’t say enough good things about the way she can capture a feeling with a photograph and is always chasing the good light - we had so many incredible sunsets! Another amazing thing about Joni is how communicative she is in the moment and during the editing process. The sneak peeks kept me looking forward to seeing the finished gallery! Joni checks in often and genuinely cares to know that she is capturing everything her clients want. You can tell photography is more than a job, it is Joni’s passion, and I think that shines in the quality of her work.
