That’s no small feat!! It’s also important to note that she was just as awesome throughout the planning process! We are indecisive people who have attended very few weddings, and she helped us through every decision. I cannot say enough how much better she helped us feel!! “Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“We had the pleasure of working with DJ Wong from MyDeejay. A quick review of MyDeejay: They were excellent to work with. They paired us with DJ Wong after we filled out a quick survey about the vibe we wanted for our wedding, and it was smooth sailing from there. It's clear from working DJ Wong that MyDeejay vets their DJs very well and ensures they're all professional and great to work with. Now for DJ Wong: He's got all of the main things you want in a vendor--professionalism, responsiveness, expertise, etc.), but he goes well above and beyond those standards. He provided ceremony music, background music, reception music, and uplighting, but that's just the starting point of everything he did for us. We were PICKY and we had A LOT of requests, and he accommodated them all flawlessly and eagerly. We requested he alter versions of some of our selected songs to adjust for timing, blending parts of songs together, and very particular transitions between songs. He made everything sound amazing! We had not 1, not 2, but FIVE choreographed dances throughout the evening, and he executed the timing of everything perfectly. The sound was incredible! In addition to that, because we were completely over-the-top for our wedding, DJ Wong so graciously and excitedly fulfilled our request to have KARAOKE at our reception. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! We had a very particular vibe in mind from our wedding--we wanted our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner to be classy and jazzy, and then for the reception dancing we wanted a mix of Pop anthems from the past 3 decades--DJ Wong understood the assignment perfectly! We were also at a very large venue and he had to provide sound across many different areas throughout the evening, but he came fully prepared and did an excellent job. We received so many compliments about the ambience for the entire evening, and we attribute that to him! On top of everything else, DJ Wong is an excellent MC and can read a room flawlessly. He kept the vibes up the entire evening, and struck the perfect balance of engaging with the audience and letting the music do the work. We are so grateful we had him for our special day!”

“I have nothing but amazing things to say about Cherrywood Ensembles. They are just such a talented, kind, and well-mannered group of individuals. I booked Cherrywood Ensembles for my wedding and cocktail hour. I purchased the quartet and added a piano for the ceremony. For the cocktail hour, we had the quartet play! I also booked their DJ from 5-9 pm for the reception! I loved everything about their services! I read the reviews online and noticed that some people were uncomfortable that the quartet didn’t come to the rehearsal, but after talking to Brian, the owner, I had no doubts that they were going to perform perfectly at the ceremony! All I did on my end was give him specific details about the ceremony (song I wanted to walk to down, the start and finish time) and they NAILED it on the day of the wedding! I purchased the 2.5 hour package for the quartet and gave them a timeline of when the ceremony was to start, end, and when they should head over to the reception venue to play for cocktail hour. When I arrived at the venue, I was in tears at how well they were playing my favorite songs! On top of their talent, they even stayed until 5 pm (when cocktail hour ended). They are truly such a huge blessing and most definitely worth every penny. I have absolutely no regrets purchasing Cherrywood Ensembles to play our favorite songs on our special day. For the reception, we had Nick as our DJ and he was absolutely the BEST! He was so fun and engaged with our guests so well! The kids LOVED him! Nick was amazing and asked Jack and I what WE wanted! Again, I gave Nick some intricate details and AGAIN, Cherrywood Ensembles NAILED it. I will always think about this day and how much of an impact Cherrywood Ensembles had on our wedding day! Every time I listen to the ceremony music, I get goosebumps and instantly in TEARS! Thank you so much for everything, Cherrywood Ensembles!! And if you are on the fence about purchasing Cherrywood Ensembles for your quartet/DJ, please be assured that they are just absolutely AMAZING. I have no regrets at all. “Don from District Remix was fantastic and truly one of the reasons our wedding day felt so perfect! From our very first meeting, we knew he would be easy to work with and genuinely invested in helping us create the best day possible. He was organized, prepared, communicative, and excited to be part of our celebration from start to finish. Throughout the entire wedding day, Don followed all of our notes and instructions carefully and made sure every song and announcement happened exactly when and how we wanted. He announced everything clearly and timely, kept the flow of the evening running smoothly, and was always attentive to the energy of the room. As a DJ, he was incredible. He played all the songs we wanted while also reading the crowd perfectly and keeping the dance floor packed all night long. “Nathan helped make our wedding day so special! Throughout the planning process, he took the time to really go through the details of our day and get to know us. He got excited about our ideas and gave great suggestions on how to bring them to life. On the wedding day, Nathan helped make sure everything ran smoothly, coordinating with other vendors and our friends and family to make sure everyone had what they needed from before the ceremony through the end of the night. He knew we wanted to do our first dance and toasts outside during cocktail hour, right before sunset, so he made sure to check in with us to get the timing just right, and it was magical! During dinner, we had curated a playlist of first dance songs from our guests, and he helped create so many special moments by encouraging folks to get up and dance when they heard their song, and stayed flexible when we were ready to get dancing started. The reception was an absolute blast and my dream dance floor. The end of the night was perfection with several "last songs" and getting to soak it all in in a circle of our favorite people.
