“From the moment I started planning with District Winery, I felt supported by their responsive and professional team. The patio space is genuinely beautiful, and the staff made sure everything ran smoothly on the day of the event (my son’s engagement party). Clay, the event coordinator, was hands-on and attentive to every detail, while bartender Sydney kept guests happy all night long. I don’t think I saw her take a break all night! We received so many compliments about the food, drinks, and the overall vibe of the celebration. If you're looking for a venue, we'd highly recommend District Winery and suggest asking for Brenda, our event Manager, when you call—she's amazing. “We had such a wonderful reception at this venue! The staff was so kind and informative throughout the whole process, from the virtual tour to the cleanup on the day. We had Jaime and Kali with us on the day, Caroline and Erin also helped with planning. Our space was the Production Barn and it suited our needs perfectly. The wines were amazing, we had a great time tasting them all during the walkthrough and they were very much enjoyed. Having the Barn’s patio expanded the space and gave our guests more options. Overall happy with how our event turned out!”

Leesburg, VA
  • Up to 250 guests
  • Raw space
  • Outdoor & indoor
  • Starts at $13,000

Three generations of the Huber family have considered Hogback Mountain their home, celebrating some of their most cherished memories on the property. With a commitment to hospitality and the rich agrarian traditions of Western Loudoun, the Huber family hoped to share the beautiful views and property with others to enjoy their big life moments and preserve the land’s agricultural beauty. Wine connoisseurs prior to entering the industry, Mike & Kristi Huber’s dedication to quality implored them to bring in top consultants in the industry to analyze the terroir of their 300-acre estate, driving us to plant classic Vitis vinifera varietals. What our land is capable of producing is a beautiful blend of new and old world styles; complex, age-worthy wines that tell a story, stories that deserve to be shared. For the Hubers and the STW team, producing world-class wines handcrafted from our estate vines is the ultimate goal.

“Overall, we were happy with our wedding at Briar Patch. I’m going to give an honest review about our experience below with both good things and some things to consider. Even with some things not going perfectly, we feel that we would choose this venue again if we had the choice. We were very happy with: 1. The ability to have a wedding weekend here for a relatively low price, the ability to have our rehearsal, welcome dinner, wedding ceremony, wedding reception, and breakfast on Sunday all at the same place but in different spaces onsite. This was very convenient and our entire wedding party could stay onsite with us. We enjoyed this. They gave my husband a Veteran’s discount, which we very much appreciated. The property is gorgeous, and we made use at our November wedding of the mountains in the background. T This fit our vision of a romantic rural venue that was elegant, but not pretentious, with lovely views. 2. Dan and Ellen were very nice to me and my husband. They brought us breakfast in the cottage on our wedding day so we could have a quiet breakfast together before the day started. That’s what we wanted. The Chef made my mom a special breakfast sandwich to order in the morning. They were accommodating about us bringing in lunch on Friday for the wedding party, snacks on the wedding day, and doing a customized breakfast for us on Sunday. We appreciated their ability to be flexible. 3. The fall colors were perfect, the horse was on property, we got amazing pictures under the stars, and we loved being able to make use of all of the spaces onsite for our different events. The scenery was really picturesque! The reception hall is perfect for a wedding reception and plenty of space for dancing. The location was close to Dulles for people to fly in and get there easily. 4. The cottage for the couple was fun and the kitchenette was nice. The bathtub was nice, and it was a good space for all of the ladies to get ready in on the day of the wedding, hang out, and have snacks. 5. On Friday night, we had a country western party themed welcome party and dinner in the space outside of the ballroom. We had adequate space to turn that space into a dance floor (near the fireplace) and set up food/drinks and tables for 50 in that space. Dan recommended Hammerdown BBQ, which is very nearby. We had people raving about the BBQ, saying it was the best cornbread they had ever had, and the best brisket. Things that could have been improved: 1. The rooms are quirky and there are insects and rodents around. If that is a deal breaker, than this may not be the place for you. It is rustic! That's part of the charm and also comes with some things that are unavoidable. 2. There are not bathrooms in all of the rooms and for some people in our wedding party, that was an issue. 3. There was some lack in communication between the owners and our wedding coordinators and caterer. 4. There were some issues where our coordinators couldn’t find Dan, Ellen, or staff on the day of the wedding when they needed them. 5. Some spots around the venue are not easily handicap accessible and there are not bathrooms at every site. Overall, we are satisfied with our choice to go with Briar Patch. It was a great choice and we have many happy memories and beautiful pictures from that day. For a wedding weekend near the DC area, you can’t beat the value and beauty of this venue!”

“In October 2025, we hosted our engagement party at Petit Domaine, and it was the perfect daytime celebration. We had a group of about a dozen dressed to the nines—suits and dresses—and arrived via a private chartered shuttle. J is a phenomenal host who always provides elevated, thoughtful, and attentive service. Knowing October weather can be unpredictable, he went above and beyond by reserving spaces for us both inside and out. Because it was unseasonably warm, we spent the afternoon in one of their semi-private covered outdoor lounge areas with comfortable couches. The food and sparkling wine were fantastic, and J’s welcoming hospitality made the classy event absolutely unforgettable. Highly recommend!”

“The Manor at Airmont is an absolutely stunning venue resting in the mountains of Round Hill, VA. They are an all-inclusive venue with a team comprised of mostly family. From start to finish, the team catered to our interests and really focused on creating a wedding that was memorable and unique to us. Every single member of the Manor team was so friendly and professional and made us feel extremely special. It was so nice giving a general vision to wedding planner Natallia and seeing what she and her team came up with to bring it to life...and boy did they DELIVER. They gave us the maximalist, royal court wedding of our dreams! Guests were blown away by the decor and people are still raving about the amazing food created by Zesty Gourmet. It was such a beautiful experience throughout and guests still call me up to tell me it was the BEST wedding they have ever been to. The best part? We planned our wedding with the Manor in just under a year with ZERO stress. We had numerous meetings to make final decisions on decor and food, but they made it the most fun year of engagement bliss without any of the wedding planning stress. The perfect wedding for a perfect end to our perfect year. WE LOVE THE MANOR AT AIRMONT!”
