Videographer

I am a videographer and editor who works mostly in the NYC and Seattle areas. As a wedding filmmaker, I want to ensure your wedding day is the most fun. I want to incorporate your ideas and inspiration and also help you feel spontaneous in front of the camera. My priority is showcasing the feeling of the day. And yes, I love a good posed drama shot, but I believe my job is to witness your day and translate that into a film. When you sit down, to relive your celebration, you’re not just watching a glossy, dramatic video of your day, but a time capsule that brings you back to how it felt to be there.

I go with the flow while embracing the personalities of the couple and their loved ones. I keep my footprint small so the focus stays on the events of the day rather than the cameras that are capturing it.

    A dream to work with

    As a wedding photographer, I've already hired Jess for three weddings now, serving as my lead day-of videographer for my photo-video wedding packages, and I have her lined up for several more coming up. Not only is she a delight to be around on the day, with an easy-going, light hearted demeanor, but she's incredibly dependable, has keen attention to detail, excellent instincts, and genuinely appreciates the beauty of the special moments she captures.     So lovely

    What a lovely human. Weddings can be so stressful and there’s so much going on in one day. It was so great to have Jess there with a calm creative presence. She understood the assignment and showed up ready to openly immerse herself in our special day, without needing anything from us. I felt like we were in great hands and we were! She captured our day beautifully. I am forever grateful for her capturing moments we can cherish forever.

    Wedding Video of my Dreams

    I’ve never been the most traditional person, but I knew I’d want a video to remember our special day. Jess was the perfect person to trust with this and I immediately knew she was the right person to capture all the fun details and special moments. I have a feeling she could make any ceremony look like the wedding of your dreams, definitely not looking for a second wedding but if I have the chance to work with Jess again I’m going to take it!

    Loved working with Jess!!

    Jess was absolutely incredible! She captured what we couldn’t experience at our wedding, interviewing our friends and family to hear about their perspective of the day. We watch the video every year on our anniversary and it makes me glow with happiness every time. She gives the perfect mix of capturing the big moments, and also those little moments our guests experienced that we may missed if not for her beautiful videography. Cannot recommend her enough!!

Once you know your wedding date, I recommend reaching out as soon as possible about availability. I film a limited number of weddings every year to ensure our couples receive the highest quality service, so the calendar can fill up months in advance.
Yes! I'm happy to send a copy of our certificate of liability insurance to your venue or any other vendors upon request.
I will personally be editing each of your wedding videos.
I often shoot the day solo. I believe it helps to keep the day feeling intimate. However, if you’re having a larger wedding with 100 or more guests, I'd recommend booking an additional videographer to ensure coverage of all your loved ones and each special moment.
Unfortunately, as I craft handmade love documentaries and edit them personally, I do not do same or next-day editing. I believe a longer editing process allows for more creative and personalized videos.
