About this venue

Our wedding venue at The Vieux is very versatile. You can choose to get married in front of the mountains up by the gazebo and outside chapel, on the balcony of The Vieux in front of Mt. Le Conte (if it's a small wedding party), in the back yard of The Vieux surrounded by the trees or inside in front of the floor to ceiling stone fireplace. Wherever you choose, your wedding will be unique and just as you choose it to be. We don't charge an exorbitant amount for our venue because we want you to be able to afford to stay at The Vieux and have your wedding all rolled into one at a great price. Some choose to do everything DIY while others choose to have a wedding coordinator, catered food and decorators come to prepare everything for them. Whatever you choose is up to you so it can be your perfect day on The Mustard Seed property at Your Home Away From Home in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. All of your guests can stay too in our 7 other cabins on the same 12 acres/mountain top.

The Mustard Seed Venue was the perfect choice for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was quick and efficient. The entire venue was beautiful, from the cabin for the reception to the ceremony site. I think the fact that the owner, Kathryn, took it upon herself to help dry seats for guests because it started raining just shows how much they care. The staff is super kind and the stay was great. It was literally exactly what we both wanted for our big day. The kindness they showed and the fact that we could reach out and immediately get a response was wonderful.

Our wedding at this venue was absolutely wonderful. The cabin was spacious and beautiful, giving us the rare opportunity to have our entire bridal party and both sets of parents stay together for the weekend. It created such a warm, memorable atmosphere and made everything feel so special. Even when the weather forced us to move our ceremony from outside to inside, the transition was handled seamlessly. The indoor space was stunning, and everything came together effortlessly, allowing us to truly enjoy the moment without stress. We could not be happier with our experience and are so grateful we chose this venue. It was the perfect setting for our wedding, and we would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a beautiful, welcoming place to celebrate their day.

I recently had the honor of marrying a couple at the Mustard Seed this past weekend. The Mustard Seed Venue was a breathtaking choice for the couple that I married to take in the scenery of these views. Behind the scenes, the information that merged to be communicated was quickly responsive and they were forward-delivering, providing my couple amazing customer service every step of the way. There wasn't much that I had to do that wasn't already finished. The quality of their work and the value they provided was truly invaluable - the venue had ample space all the guests, even extra cabins to change clothes, feel a refreshing breeze, and to sit on a porch and have coffee, all while taking in the amazing wide mountain views that words can't even do justice. Not even the great Bob Ross could attempt to capture what I saw on canvas. The grounds were impeccably groomed and well-maintained, and you could just feel the heavenly vibes throughout the entire property. The team at The Mustard Seed Venue were always present without being intrusive when we needed anything, even attaining supplies they hadn't thought to bring themselves. I'm so grateful for their contributions for making the couple that I married, have a miraculous special day even more perfect than they expected. I would be honored to officiate any wedding here again in the future!

The Mustard Seed Venue was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, their communication was quick, easy, and incredibly informative - they were always available to answer our questions and guide us through the planning process. On the day of, the venue itself was nothing short of breathtaking, with a spacious and welcoming layout that allowed our guests to move freely between the ceremony and reception areas. We especially appreciated the multiple cabins they provided for our out-of-town guests, which were all conveniently located near each other. The Mustard Seed Venue truly went above and beyond to make our special day unforgettable.

Yes, you can park on site for free.

The Vieux is accessible to the main floor for a wheelchair and the downstairs is as well but you would have to drive the guest up to the top or down to the bottom.

Your reservation includes 2 full days - check in is 4:00pm and check out is 10:00am on your check out day.

Our venue and cabins are about 45 minutes from the Knoxville airport. You can rent a car or get an Uber or Lyft.

We cannot stress enough the importance of purchasing travel insurance. Our cancellation policy is firm, however, we are reasonable as well depending on the circumstance – on a case by case basis. We do not refund due to weather, hurricane, illness, Covid, etc. Because of our strict policy, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Travel Insurance protects up to 100% of a vacation investment for covered reasons such as illness (including COVID), injury or death in the family or to someone in the traveling party, natural disasters, travel delays, and much more. Cancellations are allowed up to 60 days prior to check-in, with a full refund. Cancellations are allowed between 30-60 days with a 50% refund. Any cancellations within 30 days of check-in are non-refundable.

The Vieux is included for the amount of nights you book it for (at least 2 nights minimum). The use of the wedding venue area (see area by gazebo, view of mountains & outside chapel). The use of The Vieux and it's surrounding area for a reception area.
