Grand Hall

The space offers a vintage vibe plus countless backdrops for beautiful images. There are four different floors available for hosting events (all indoors.) The Thaxton is perfect for ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, engagement parties, birthday parties, charitable functions, and corporate events.

    Such a wonderful location for our wedding! We really wanted a historical venue with a moody and romantic feel, and the Thaxton was perfect! The lighting, the art, the beautiful architectural details were exactly what we were looking for. On top of that the staff at the venue was amazing. Kim was wonderful and easy to work with from day 1. Day of Mad Dog and DJ Uptown made the event incredibly memorable for our guest! The bartending staff was amazing and accommodating. And Kim and Tavon made the day flow smoothly and made us feel like VIPs. Everything from their list of recommended vendors to the day of coordination of the event was easy and our guests love the venue and had an amazing time!

    We have worked with the Thaxton for a few years now and we love it. They are great at communicating details of each wedding that they host. It is always a pleasure seeing the venue transformed into to something even more beautiful. I highly recommend the Thaxton
