Conveniently located three blocks from City Stadium in Downtown West, The Hawthorn comfortably accommodates parties from 50 to 1300 with a versatile floor plan and multiple spaces for celebrations. The room rental provides venue exclusivity to the client for up to (12) consecutive hours on the client’s event day. This allotted time includes set up and a required (90) minute breakdown. Additional hours may be purchased for $250 an hour.
A non-binding hold may be placed on our calendar prior to placing a deposit. A signed contract and 50% deposit are required to begin the process of securing the desired date. A signed contract and deposit do not always guarantee a secured date if that date has prior holds that must be challenged. Please ask our Events Manager for more details!
The venue does have certain décor limitations, please inquire with our Venue Team to discuss. Vendor lists, vendor insurance, event insurance, and all set up information must be provided. The venue team will require the prior and following details (14) days prior to event date: all set up and break down, event layout, deliveries, requests, audio visual and electrical needs, and production. We do not allow fireworks, glow sticks, glitter, open flames, birdseed. or “rave” style events.
All clients and non-exclusive vendors must provide a limited liability insurance certificate naming the venue as additionally insured for a policy of no less than $1,000,000.00, due(14) days prior to event.
To ensure the client's event is executed properly and professionally, the venue requires a professional Event Planner for corporate functions, wedding ceremonies, receptions, etc. If the client is in need of a planner, please reach out to the Events Manager or Venue Manager and we can provide assistance.
Absolutely! We have an open vendor policy. However, we do have a preferred vendor list should the client need help to select some of St. Louis' finest vendors.
