About this venue

Welcome. Built-in 1886 for William and Bertha Haas, the House is an exuberant example of Queen Anne-style architecture. The Haas and Lilienthal families occupied the house until 1973. It then went into the trust of San Francisco Heritage, a non-profit architectural and cultural preservation organization that turned it into a museum and event venue for the enjoyment of the community. In 2012, the House was designated a National Treasure by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Designed by architect Peter R. Schmidt for William and Bertha Haas, and constructed in 1886, the 11,500 square foot Haas-Lilienthal House embodies both the ambitious spirit of San Francisco’s pioneers and its grand Victorian-period architecture.

Eight hours is the average rental period for reception-only wedding events. More hours can be added if desired. Mon-Thur - $2400 Friday - $3200 Saturday - $3560 Sunday - $3040 SUGGESTED EVENT OUTLINE: Setup - 1 to 2 hours Event Period - 4 to 6 hours Cleanup - 1 hour
