About this venue
Located in the Streets of Woodfield in Schaumburg, Shaw’s Crab House provides the perfect setting for any event ranging from intimate gatherings, graduations, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties. birthday celebrations, bridal and baby showers, funeral memorials, celebrations of life & receptions to corporate meetings or large events up to 200 guests. Our private dining menus feature a variety of fresh fish & seafood, prime steaks, signature sides & homemade desserts.

The Normandies
The most iconic Shaw's experience you can give your guests!
The flexibility of the Normandie Rooms makes this space a perfect fit for any event from large corporate receptions or award luncheons to rehearsal dinners or post wedding brunches. As a whole the space can accommodate up to 100 guests but they can also be separated into smaller spaces which accommodate up to 22 or up to 50 guests. + Equipped with multiple LCD screen TVs. Handheld microphone available for rental.

This completely private, versatile room located behind the Main Dining Room can accommodate a seated gathering for up to 65 guests. The room can be set boardroom style [up to 24 guests], with long tables, round tables or crescent rounds for a presentation [35 guests].

Tucked off to the side, the Red Shell Room is our second semi-private space in the Oyster Bar. With a combination cushy booths and a large round table, the Red Shell Room seats up to 25 guests and offers a great casual setting for brunch, lunch or dinner events.

Bridal Shower of my DREAMS in the Oyster Bar
Shaw's is a place my mom and I frequent often for after work martinis and apps. We love the Oyster Bar and one day decided it would be the perfect spot for my bridal shower. It was better than I could have ever dreamt up! The team at Shaw's did everything imaginable to give me the perfect day ever! The drink service was quick, everyone was incredibly friendly, and the food was amazing. I have gotten a compliment from everyone that attended. If you are looking for a fun place with amazing staff that treat you like family, good food, and awesome drinks, Shaw's is the place for your event!!
