About this venue

Celebrated as one of the most magnificent concert venues in the world, Severance Music Center has been the home of The Cleveland Orchestra since its opening in 1931. This landmark building is located in the heart of Cleveland’s University Circle area — a picturesque setting on the city’s east side that serves as an epicenter of major cultural, educational, and medical institutions.

Our largest space, the Concert Hall seats 2000 guests, and offers a generous stage in a picturesque setting gilded in silver leaf. The Main Concert Hall is especially ideal for larger gatherings such as concerts, recitals, graduations, lectures, or other performances.
