When the Venue Gives You Butterflies Too
If you are looking for a warm, blank canvas space with an intimate feel, I HIGHLY recommend touring Lake Affect! As soon as my husband and I walked into the space we knew it was the one. So at least go look. Our vision came to life so beautifully, too. (Make sure you use up-lighting.) It could have been the newlywed high, but the atmosphere felt so heavenly and romantic. Stefanie was an amazing venue coordinator throughout the whole process. She answered the many questions I had leading up to the day and made sure all the vendors were where they needed to be. I planned my wedding from Pittsburgh and she made sure I felt comfortable and confident with the process throughout. They didn't have a bunch of hidden fees and the pricing felt reasonable compared to other venues and has the bar package included. Great value IMO. I also loved that we had basically all of Friday to set up the venue for Saturday. If you're in Cleveland and interested in the industrial vibe, make sure you check Lake Affect Studios out. It's an underrated venue.

Five stars all around
We can’t say enough nice things about this place! Most importantly to us was the excellent communication at every step of the planning process. The space is warm, somewhat (but not overly) fancy, reasonably priced, and welcoming to any size party. Lake Affect gave us a vibe so special it made my dad cry, but never feeling “formal” - aka stuffy. Our only warning to other couples is to plan for extra lighting in the ceremony space. We were VERY impressed with Stefanie’s problem solving ability when vendor issues came up on the day of the rehearsal. LGBTQ friendly as well!

Amazing venue!
We got married at lake affect and it was the best experience! The pricing can’t be beat for all we got. From the beginning the contract was so fair and communication was clear and open. Stefanie was so helpful with answering any questions I had and made the whole process so easy. The space allowed me to set up a day before which was so nice. It was the perfect space for my 140 guests for both the ceremony and reception. The outside courtyard was so cute and the dance floor was big enough for all my guests. The space allowed for me to really decorate how I wanted it. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Such an incredible time made possible by Stefanie, Amanda and the rest of the lake affect staff.

Lake Affect was the perfect venue for our wedding in May 2025! It was our first and last venue we looked at. First, they only do 1 wedding/event a weekend - which made us feel prioritized and we didn’t have to rush to set up. The space is so cool and you can make it your own style. We got so many compliments of the space and how great it looked. The prices are BEYOND fair - plus the bar service is in house and we had to choose a caterer from their list; we loved that because it was less looking around. They are constantly updating the space to make it better and updated. Stefanie was absolutely fantastic and answered all my questions and was always so prompt! If you’re looking for a space to make your own, Lake Affect is an absolute hidden gem.

Incredible experience end to end
Lake Affect Studios was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the very beginning, their communication was easy, fast, and comforting. They were there for us every step of the way, guiding us through things we never would have thought of on our own. The quality of their work and the value they provided was exceptional - the venue was beautiful, they were incredibly accommodating, and the overall experience was of the highest quality. This venue provides an almost blank slate for your vision, yet it stands on its own as a stunning backdrop. It's clear that the team at Lake Affect Studios are true veterans in the wedding industry and they provide everything you could need in a venue. We are so grateful for their expertise and support in making our special day perfect.
