Our ballroom’s grand staircase leads to a balcony that highlights the iconic rose window and sits opposite the room’s stunning 8’ Swarovski crystal chandelier. The 29’ barrel-vaulted ceiling provides excellent acoustics and dimmable wash lighting that accent its historic structure and original stained glass. The 27' quartz bar, open floor plan & neutral hues allow for creative arrangements of seating, dance floors & décor, ensuring every detail aligns with your vision.

Thoughtfully designed for cocktail hours and after-parties, The Rosehip Room features a built-in stage and a 27-foot quartz bar that showcases the building’s original stained glass.

    Best wedding venue

    The most amazing venue with the most amazing staff and coordinator. Katie was an absolute angel and made our day so amazing!! Highly recommend!

    Fabulous vision; wedding ready!

    My fiancé and I met Stephanie in March 2021 at a wedding show downtown. She showed us a couple photos of what was a 100 year old church, and explained her vision. We were totally on board and are so ecstatic to see the continual progress and development of the vision she first showed us! Our wedding is at the end of this month and we are beyond excited to utilize the finished space, complete with a luxurious chandelier, grand staircase, and of course ring the bell to celebrate our day. Stephanie and Francine have been so easy to work with and are such positive and helpful individuals!

Per ABC laws, all alcoholic beverages must be provided by The Elliot. All outside alcoholic beverages will be confiscated and the client will be subject to a $500 fine.
The Elliot has three ADA-compliant restrooms and a wheelchair lift with ground-level access from the sidewalk. The lift accesses The Ballroom and The Rosehip Room.
Complimentary parking is available in the adjacent lot. For parties with 50+ guests, a private lot is included at 2307 W 14th Street and is included with your rental. Valet and shuttle services are available for an additional cost.
Should you need to cancel your event, The Elliot will retain the non-refundable deposit and any payments made up until the date of cancellation.
Our full wedding package includes the following: 5 hours to celebrate -- 2 dressing rooms -- exclusive use of the venue with access as early as 8 AM for getting ready, setup & photos -- 60" round, 8' banquet & cocktail tables as needed -- white padded chairs -- security guard -- use of The Rosehip Room for cocktail hour & photos -- The Rosehip Room’s sound system & projector -- complimentary wine tasting -- 1-hour venue rental for engagement photos The ceremony add-on includes an additional hour, chair setup, and a rehearsal.
Receptions include five hours from start to finish, not including setup and teardown time. Ceremonies include 6 hours of event time. You and your vendors can access the building as early as 8 AM for setup, photos, and the use of our two dressing rooms.
Event insurance is not required but is strongly recommended.
The Elliot is located 12 minutes from the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport via 1-71 N.
No, but we are located across from Lincoln Park and down the street from the Cleveland skyline, both great backdrops for pictures.
No, The Elliot has partnered with four exclusive caterers to bring quality food and service to your event. Our caterers are A Taste of Excellence, Lago Custom Events, Marigold Catering, and Nosh Creative Catering. You are welcome to provide your own cake, desserts, and late-night snacks.
